REPORT OF OFFICERS:

Yvonne Calzada, VP Grounds, is soliciting new members for the garden committee.  Anyone interested in serving needs to contact Yvonne.  She submitted an article for the newsletter with specifics for interested gardeners.  She also said that residents need to be alert to over-watering issues—sometimes leaving a sprinkler on for 5 hours and wasting water.  Yvonne requested that one of the wooden benches currently stored in the office unit patio be installed in the back common area behind Court 2.

Robert Ingulli, VP Buildings, stated that work on the slate roof in Court 2 will begin shortly.

Marilyn Beck, Treasurer, stated that the finances are in good shape, and that she has cut a check for the roofing company.

Pat Schoen, President, reported that June 17 will be the date for the combined Pool and Farewell to David Pollard Party.  David is retiring after 23 years as Facilities Manager.

MANAGEMENT REPORT

Steve Kirkpatrick reported that Lateral Liners will be lining the 225 feet of sewer line in Court 6 this week.

Mike Maloney, CFM, stated that he is working with our insurance brokers to get a May 28 date for the renewal of all our insurance, except for workman’s compensation which follows our fiscal year dates.

NEW BUSINESS: There was a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded, and the meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm.
