COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/30/2003, 2400 blk N. Harrison St., Sometime between 1400hrs on 06/29/03 and 0930hrs on 06/30/03, unknown subject(s) entered a store and stole an undetermined amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry into this store. The subjects then broke a hole in the wall to gain entry into an adjoining store. Nothing appeared missing from the second store.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/27/2003, 1300 N. Quincy St., Sometime between 06/210/03 and 06/27/03, an unknown subject entered Washington & Lee High School and stole a laptop computer and other computer equipment. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/27/2003, 2700 N. Harrison St., On 06/27/03, at 1345hrs, the victim, a 44yo female, /observed a subject attempting to steal a bicycle from her garage. Upon being noticed, the subject dropped the bicycle and fled on foot. The victim followed the subject and contacted the police. A responding officer apprehended the subject. David Bradley Godbolt, 20, of Arlington was arrested and charged with burglary.

ROBBERY 6/27/2003, 1300 Wilson Blvd., On 06/27/03, at 1235hrs, an unknown subject approached a teller at the First Union Bank and implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The teller complied with the subject. The subject received an undetermined amount of cash and then fled the bank on foot. The subject was described as a WM, 40-50, 5’10”-6’0”, medium build, gray hair with a facial skin problem. The subject was wearing dark sunglasses, a light colored shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap with a red logo.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/26/2003, 1900 N. Randolph St., Sometime between 1100hrs and 1145hrs, an unknown subject entered a church through an unlocked door and stole a fire extinguisher.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/25/2003, 2611 S. Lynn St., Sometime between 2200hr on 06/24/03 and 0830hrs on 06/25/03, unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked porch and stole a rug and a pair of shoes. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/25/2003, 1812 N. Quinn St., Sometime between 1310hrs and 1520hrs on 06/25/03, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole various electronic equipment. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/23/2003, 5200 block of Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 1440hrs on 06/21/03 and 1400hrs on 06/23/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business and stole an undetermined amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/23/2003, 4300 block of N. Fairfax Dr., At 1834hrs, an unknown subject entered a locked office suite. Upon entering the suite, an employee challenged the subject and the subject fled the scene. Nothing was stolen. The subject was described as a BM, 30, 5’10”, 180lbs, wearing dark pants, a gray shirt and a red hat.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/23/2003, 4300 block of Wilson Blvd., At 1849hrs, officers observed a subject matching the description of a burglary suspect exiting a building with a laptop computer. Further investigation revealed that the laptop had just been stolen from an office suite. Kent Daryl Spencer, 41, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

ROBBERY 6/23/2003, 1100 block of S. Hayes St., At 2055hrs, four subjects entered a jewelry store and asked to see several pieces of jewelry. One of the subjects grabbed a ring and an anniversary band from the clerk and all of the subjects fled the store on foot. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 5’10”, 160lbs, dark complexion wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, sneakers and a red headband. Subject #1 also had a pierced right eyebrow. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 5’10”, 160, wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. Subject #3 was described as a BM, 5’10”, 150lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers. Subject #4 was described as a BM wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

ROBBERY 6/23/2003, 2400 block of S. Glebe Rd., At 0530hrs, the victim, a 27yo male, was entering his hotel room when three unknown subjects approached him. The subjects physically assaulted the subject and stole a credit card and numerous DVDs. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 28, 5’11”-6’0”, 180lbs, light complexion, goatee, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Subject #2 was described as a WM, 24, 5’10”, blonde hair, wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans. Subject #3 was described as a BM, 5’9”-5’10”, dark complexion wearing a blue shirt.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/22/2003, 5600 block of N. Fairfax Dr., On 06/22/03, at 0220hrs, an unknown subject entered a house through an unlocked door and stole a purse. The subject was described as a BM, 30’s, wearing a gray tank top and blue jeans.

ARMED ROBBERY 6/22/2003, 4200 block of N. Pershing Dr., At 2145hrs, the victims, a 37yo male and a 20yo male, were walking to the store when three unknown subjects approached them. Without provocation, the subjects began to physically assault the victims. During the attack, both victims were stabbed and one of the victim’s wallets was stolen. The victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Subject #1 was described as a WHM, 5’6”-5’8”, wearing black pants and a white T-shirt. Subject #2 was described as a WHM wearing light colored shorts. Subject #3 was described as a WHM wearing a hat.

ROBBERY 6/21/2003, 2400 block of N. 14th St., At 0008hrs, the victim, a 22yo female, was walking with a friend and looking for an address. An unknown subject approached and offered to assist them. After walking a short distance with the victim, the subject grabbed the victim’s purse and fled on foot. The subject was described as a BM, 25, 5’08”, 170lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts and a backpack (possibly red in color).

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/20/2003, 2000 block of Clarendon Blvd., On five separate occasions between 06/15/03 at 0330hrs and 06/20/03 at 1600hrs, unknown subject(s) have forced entry into a restaurant during the night by prying open a window and stealing beer.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/20/2003, 800 N. Glebe Rd., Sometime between 1630hrs on 06/18/03 and 0510hrs on 06/19/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a store room by prying open a door and stole an undetermined amount of cash and various tools.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/18/2003, 2300 S. Grant St., On 06/18/03, at approximately 0530hrs, officers responded to a church for a report of a burglary. Upon their arrival, officers located a subject inside the church. Robert Lee Mormon, 41, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with burglary.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/17/2003, 3100 block of N. Lee Hwy, Sometime between 0145hrs and 0207hrs on 06/17/03, an unknown subject forced entry into a store by smashing a window, stole a bicycle and then fled the scene toward Spout Run Parkway. The subject was described as a BM, 6’0”, medium to stocky build, wearing a light colored short-sleeved shirt and baggy knee-length shorts.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/16/2003, 1600 block of N. Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 1830hrs on 06/13/03 and 0800hrs on 06/16/03, unknown subject(s) entered an office and stole four laptop computers and a computer bag. There were no signs of forced entry.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/16/2003, 1100 block of S. 16th St., Sometime between 1530hrs on 06/15/03 and 0845hrs on 06/16/03, unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry into a residence by kicking the front door.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/16/2003, 5200 block of N. 5th St., Sometime between 1900hrs on 06/15/03 and 0630hrs on 06/16/03, unknown subject(s) entered a house and stole construction tools. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/16/2003, 3700 block of N. 4th St., Sometime between 04/21/03 and 06/01/03, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole a Chinese gong and a flashlight. There were no signs of forced entry.

HOMICIDE 6/16/2003, 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive, At 0100hrs, officers responded for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, the officers located two victims, a 24yo male and a 25yo male, suffering from stab wounds. The victims had been involved in an altercation with a group of subjects in the 4800 block of Columbia Pike. The subjects chased the victims to the 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Dr. where they were stabbed. Both victims were transported to local hospitals. Francisco A. Moreno, 24, of Arlington, died from his wounds, and the second victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

An Arlington K-9 officer responded to the scene and, after a lengthy search, located three subjects at S. 10th St. and S. Columbus St. After further investigation, the three subjects were charged with murder. They are: 1) Oscar Hernandez-Guerrero, 25, of the 6000 block of Vista Drive in Falls Church; 2) Martir Antonio Solis-Lara, 24, of the 6000 block of Vista Drive in Falls Church; and 3) Jose S. Hernandez-Guerrero, 21, of the 6000 block of Knollwood Dr. in Falls Church. A fourth subject, Marvin Perez, 20, of the 6000 block of Knollwood Dr. in Falls Church, was arrested later in the day in Fairfax County.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/15/2003, 2000 block of N. Calvert St., At 0215hrs, an unknown subject entered an apartment and awoke the resident. The subject stated he had the wrong apartment, and exited after taking a digital camera. The subject was described as a BM, 20’s, 6’0”, 190lbs wearing red shorts, a black tank top and flip-flops.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 6/15/2003, 3100 block of N. Quincy St., Sometime between 1000hrs and 1951hrs, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a back door into a residence and stole numerous pieces of jewelry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/14/2003, 2700 block of S. Arlington Mill Dr., Sometime between 0315hrs and 0908hrs on 06/14/03, an unknown subject(s) entered a restaurant and stole an undetermined amount of cash from a safe. There were no signs of forced entry.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/14/2003, 100 block of N. Highland St., Sometime between 2030hrs on 06/12/03 and 1100hrs on 06/13/03, unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry into a residence by prying open a door.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/13/2003, 2500 block of N. 20th St., Sometime between 2030hrs and 2130hrs on 06/13/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence through the front door window and rummaged through a medicine cabinet and two bags. Nothing appeared to be missing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/12/2003, 1300 blk N. Vernon St., At approximately 2050hrs, unknown subject(s) opened the front door of a residence and removed a wallet from a purse. The victim reported observing a male subject walking away from her residence pulling a hood over his head. The suspect is described as a WM, possibly Hispanic, black hair, wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/11/2003, 2700 blk S. Grant St., Sometime between 1830hrs and 2215hrs, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a residence by removing the screens from two windows and breaking one of the window panes. It appeared as though the subject(s) did not gain entry to the premises.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/11/2003, 4200 blk S. 31st St., Sometime between 0900hrs and 1100hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items including a VCR, a DVD player, a CD player/stereo, a video game system and a watch. There were no signs of forced entry.

PEEPING TOM 6/11/2003, 1300 blk S. Army Navy Dr., At approximately 1730hrs, a suspicious male subject was reported near the women’s locker room of a swimming pool. Later that day, a subject matching the same description was reported in a stall in the women’s locker room. Responding officers were unable to locate the subject. The suspect is described as a BM, approx. 5’9”, medium build, dark complexion, late 20s-early 30s, clean shaven, round face, wearing an aqua or green t-shirt.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/10/2003, 5700 block of N. 10th Rd., At 2315hrs, the victim, a 31yo female, was awoken when an unknown subject attempted to gain entry into her residence by prying open a window screen. The victim yelled at the subject, and he fled on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, 19-25, slim build, wearing blue jeans and a blue T-shirt.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/9/2003, 3400 block of Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 1820hrs on 06/07/03 and 0635hrs on 06/09/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business and stole an undetermined amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY 6/8/2003, 2700 blk N. 9th St., At approximately 0228hrs, the victim, a 40yo male, was walking on the sidewalk when he was approached by four unknown male subjects. The subjects surrounded the victim, knocked him to the ground and began to kick him. The subjects then went through his pockets and removed an undetermined amount of cash. The subjects then fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a fifth subject. All five suspects are described as WMs, Hispanic. One was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. Another was wearing a black ballcap. A third was wearing a dark-colored t-shirt pulled over his face, and a fourth was wearing a bandana on his face. The suspect vehicle is described as a small black convertible SUV.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/6/2003, 1800 blk Lee Hwy., Sometime between 0830hrs and 1925hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several objects including a VCR and a portable CD player. Entry was apparently made through an open window.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 6/6/2003, 1400 blk N. Ft. Myer Dr., At approximately 1850hrs, the victim, a 29yo female, was approached by an unknown male subject while walking on the sidewalk. The subject grabbed the victim's buttocks, and the victim then yelled at the subject causing him to back away. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, late 20s to early 30s, approx. 5'1"-5'4", 130-150lbs, wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 6/6/2003, 2600 blk S. Jeff Davis Hwy., At approximately 1130hrs, the victim, a 29yo female hotel employee, was sexually assaulted by an unknown male subject while cleaning a room. The suspect is described as a BM, mid to late 30s, approx. 5'9"-5'11", 180-200lbs, short hair, dark complexion, wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black leather dress shoes.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/6/2003, Sometime between 2230hrs and 2300hrs on 06/06/03, unknown subjects entered an apartment and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/6/2003, 1800 blk Lee Hwy., Sometime between 0830hrs and 1925hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several objects including a VCR and a portable CD player. Entry was apparently made through an open window.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 6/6/2003, 1400 blk N. Ft. Myer Dr., At approximately 1850hrs, the victim, a 29yo female, was approached by an unknown male subject while walking on the sidewalk. The subject grabbed the victim’s buttocks, and the victim then yelled at the subject causing him to back away. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, late 20s to early 30s, approx. 5’1”-5’4”, 130-150lbs, wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 6/6/2003, 2600 blk S. Jeff Davis Hwy., At approximately 1130hrs, the victim, a 29yo female hotel employee, was sexually assaulted by an unknown male subject while cleaning a room. The suspect is described as a BM, mid to late 30s, approx. 5’9”-5’11”, 180-200lbs, short hair, dark complexion, wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black leather dress shoes.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 6/3/2003, At approximately 1145hrs, the victim, a 22yo male, was sitting on an exterior wall when he was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject produced a knife and began to attack the victim. The victim fought with the subject and eventually forced him to run off. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, 30s, approx. 6’, 160lbs.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/1/2003, 2000 block of Crystal Dr., Sometime between 1725hrs on 05/30/03, and 2340hrs on 05/31/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a front door into a business and stole a laptop computer.

ROBBERY 6/1/2003, 4700 block of Columbia Pike, At 0115hrs, the victim, a 36yo male, was standing behind a business when several unknown subjects approached him. One of the subjects grabbed two gold chains from around the victim’s neck. All of the subjects then fled on foot. The subjects were described as Hispanic males in their 20’s.

ROBBERY 6/1/2003, 3200 block of S. 9th St., At 0225hrs, the victims, three males, were outside talking when a vehicle stopped beside them. A passenger (Subject #1) exited the vehicle wielding a handgun and ordered the victims to the ground. After the victims lay on the ground, another subject (Subject #2) exited the vehicle. Both subjects searched the victims and stole a wallet and keys. After ordering the subjects to run from the scene, the subjects fled in their vehicle.

Subject #1 was described as a BM, 5’08”, 140lbs, wearing a black ski mask and dark colored pants and shirt. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 20-25, 5’08”, 180lbs, wearing a gray “skull cap,” a gray jacket, and dark pants. The suspect vehicle was described as a light green, two-door Geo Metro with unknown Virginia tags.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 6/1/2003, 2700 block of S. Arlington Mill Dr., On 06/01/03, an unknown subject was observed exposing his genitalia in the Shirlington Library. The subject fled the scene prior to the arrival of police officers. The subject was described as an HM, 18-25, 5’6”, 120lbs, “spiked” black hair, clean shaven and a pock marked face. He was wearing a gray, long-sleeved T-shirt, blue jeans, and had a gray sweatshirt tied around his waist.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/31/2003, 4100 block of N. 3rd Rd., At 0436hrs, officers responded for a burglary-in-progress. Upon arrival, an officer observed a subject standing next to a broken window. Leonard J. Sanchez-Velasquez, 27, of the 4200 block of N. 2nd Rd, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.

ROBBERY 5/28/2003, 4200 S. Four Mile Run Dr., At 2228hrs, the victim, a 24yo female, was at home when a subject (Subject #1) that she had previously met knocked on her door. The victim opened the door and was speaking with Subject #1 when two unknown subjects carrying handguns barged into her apartment. One of the subjects demanded the victim’s money and then searched the apartment. After taking an undetermined amount of cash from the apartment, all three subjects exited the apartment and fled in a vehicle.

Subject #1, known as “Louis,” was described as a BM, 20’s, 6’2”, 180lbs, with a medium complexion, goatee and short black hair, wearing glasses and a black leather jacket. Subject #2 was described as a BM, about 18, 5’8”, 150lbs, light complexion, cornrows, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a white T-shirt. Subject #3 was described as a BM, 20’s, 5’8”, 190lbs, medium complexion, wearing a dark gray sweat suit with a black shirt. The suspect vehicle was described as a gold 1980’s Nissan Sentra (“boxy” style).

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/28/2003, 3100 S. 12th St., At 0659hrs, an unknown subject was seen entering a residence through a side door. After exiting the residence with several garment bags, the subject walked to McDonald’s on Columbia Pike. Officers were summoned to that location, and, after a brief struggle, the subject was apprehended. Geren Gatlin, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/27/2003, 2000 S. Clark St., At 2330hrs, two subjects forced entry into a store and stole numerous cell phones. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 5’08”, 180lbs, wearing a Redskins jersey, a baseball cap and black pants. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 5’10”, 150lbs, wearing a blue T-shirt.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/24/2003, 4400 Pershing Dr., Sometime between 2300hrs on 05/23/03 and 0705hrs on 05/24/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a door into a business and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/26/2003, 4900 Chesterfield Rd., Sometime between 1530hrs on 05/25/03 and 1300hrs on 05/26/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into Wakefield High School through a door. After gaining entry, the subjects “egged” several classrooms and broke a soda machine.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/26/2003, 2400 Arlington Blvd., Sometime between 1700hrs on 05/25/03 and 1200hrs on 05/26/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a front door into an apartment and stole a hiking backpack and a laptop computer.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/25/2003, 3100 N. Lee Hwy., Sometime between 0430hrs and 0538hrs on 05/25/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a glass door into the Big Wheels Bikes store and stole a bicycle.

ROBBERY 5/24/2003, 2900 N. 10th St., At 1845hrs an unknown female subject attempted to shoplift numerous items of merchandise from a store. A clerk from the store confronted the subject. The subject began to struggle with the clerk, at which time an unknown male subject entered the store and hit the clerk. Both subjects exited the store and fled in a waiting vehicle being driven by a third subject. The clerk grabbed a disposable camera and chased the subjects. After being photographed, the vehicle stopped and the two subjects from the store fled on foot. The third subject (the driver of the suspect vehicle) returned to the store and waited for police. The investigation revealed that the driver of the suspect vehicle was not involved, and he was released.

Responding officers located the male subject, identified as Willie Lee Brundage, a short distance away. Brundage, 43, of the 2400 block of Arlington, was arrested and charged with robbery. An arrest warrant for robbery was also issued against the female subject, Frances Waller-Brundage. She is still outstanding. Waller-Brundage is a BF, 09/21/53, 5’1” and 125lbs. Her last known address is 9802 Hagel Court in Lorton.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/23/2003, 100 S. Garfield St., Sometime between 1030hrs and 1310hrs on 05/23/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence through a back door and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

ROBBERY 5/23/2003, 5700 N. Lee Hwy., At 1315hrs, the victim, an 86yo male, was using the restroom at the Lee Community Center when an unknown subject grabbed the victim’s wallet from his pocket. Atlhough the subject struggled, the subject was able to flee with the wallet. The subject was described as a BM, 30’s, 6’, 150lbs, with bushy black hair, wearing all black clothing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 5/21/2003, 2800 blk Clarendon Blvd., At 1340hrs, officers responded to a bookstore for a report of a subject exposing his genitalia. The subject was asked to leave prior to the officers' arrival. The subject was described as a WHM, 23-27, 5'5", 160lbs wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/20/2003, 3000 S. Randolph St., At 0153hrs, an unknown subject entered an apartment through a sliding glass door. The resident observed the subject and immediately screamed for help. The subject fled the apartment. The subject was described as a WM, mid-20’s, 5’10”-6’0” with a medium build wearing a long sleeved T-shirt (gray or light green) and khaki colored shorts.

ROBBERY 5/20/2003, 1100 S. George Mason Dr., At 1527hrs, the victim, a store clerk, was approached by an enraged subject who claimed the Western Union money order machine located in the store had malfunctioned and taken his money. The victim advised the subject that the machine did not belong to the store. The subject then went around the counter and ordered the victim to give him a refund. ROBBERY 5/16/2003, 1300 S. Taylor St., At 1950hrs, the victim, a 45yo male, was delivering a pizza when he was approached by two unknown subjects. Subject #1 produced a handgun and ordered the victim to give them his money. Subject #2 then took an undetermined amount of money from the victim’s pocket. Both subjects fled the scene on foot. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 24, 6’4”, 180lbs, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, sneakers and a black mask. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 24, 5’6”, 150lbs, wearing a blue jacket, blue shirt and a mask.

ROBBERY 5/16/2003, 2500 Military Rd., At 0635hrs, the victim, a 69yo female, was standing at a bus stop when an unknown subject approached her and grabbed two handbags from her shoulder. The subject was described as a BM, 17-23, 5’07”, 150 wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 5/14/2003, 700 S. 18th St., At 2140hrs, officers were dispatched to Aurora Highlands Park for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers observed the subject lying on a park bench with his genitalia exposed. Robert Lee, 51, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 5/14/2003, 300 S. Harrison St., At 1150hrs, the victim, a 29yo female, was walking her dog in Glen Carlyn Park when she observed an unknown male subject exposing his genitalia. The victim fled the park and contacted police. The subject was described as a WHM, 20-30yo wearing a red shirt.

ROBBERY 5/14/2003, 2500 S. Adams St., At 0551hrs, the victim, a 37yo male, was walking to his vehicle in a parking garage when he observed an unknown subject (Subject #1) by his vehicle. The subject grabbed the victim. A second subject (Subject#2) then approached the victim. Subject #2 grabbed the victim’s wallet and cell phone. Both subjects fled the scene in a nearby vehicle. The victim observed a third subject in the vehicle. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 20-30, 5’10”-6’1”, wearing a blue jersey and a red “do-rag” on his head. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 20-30, black hair, medium complexion wearing a white T-shirt. Subject #3 was described as a BM, 20-30. The suspect vehicle was described as a 1980's model Toyota Corolla.

ATTEMPTED RAPE 5/13/2003, 2100 Jefferson Davis Hwy., At 1850hrs, the victim, a 34yo female, was closing the door to her apartment when an unknown subject forced his way inside the apartment. The subject knocked the victim to the ground. The victim began to fight the subject, and the subject fled the apartment. The subject was described as a BM, 5’10”, 175lbs, brown eyes, brown hair and a dark complexion wearing dark jeans and a dark T-shirt.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/10/2003, 1000 block of Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 1030hrs and 1330hrs on 05/09/03, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.

ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT 5/10/2003, 800 block of N. Randolph St., At 2325hrs, the victim, a 23yo female, was walking when an unknown subject grabbed her and attempted to pull her toward a group of bushes. The victim broke away from the subject and began to yell for help. The subject fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, 18-25, 5’06”, 140lbs, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 5/10/2003, 1900 block of N. Moore St., At 0051hrs, the victims, a 30yo male and a 27yo male, were leaving a restaurant when an unknown subject began shouting obscenities at the victims. The victims attempted to avoid a confrontation, but the subject suddenly began punching Victim #1. Victim #2 ordered the subject to stop, but the subject then punched Victim #2. Using a pocketknife, Victim #2 was able to fend off the subject.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/8/2003, 2600 block of S. 8th St., Sometime between 0740hrs and 1430hrs on 05/08/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a door into a maintenance room at an apartment building and stole a shirt, an undetermined amount of cash and a set of keys.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 5/8/2003, 3000 block of Clarendon Blvd., At 2212hrs, the victim, a 29yo female, was walking to work when she was approached by an unknown subject. The subject attempted to grab the victim's bag, but the victim pushed the subject away. The victim ran for help, and the subject fled the scene on N. Garfield Street. The subject was described as a WM, 30, wearing a black, long-sleeved T-shirt, faded jeans, and a black baseball cap.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/7/2003, 2400 block of Wilson Blvd., At 0300hrs, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a front window into a store and stole three vacuums and an undetermined amount of cash.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 5/7/2003, 4200 block of Wilson Blvd., At 1317hrs, the victim, a 31yo female, was sitting in a courtyard when approached by an unknown subject. The subject exposed his genitalia, grabbed the victim, and attempted to touch the victim’s groin. The victim struggled with the subject and screamed for help. A witness ran to the victim’s aid, and the subject fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, 20’s, 5’6”, 120lbs, wearing a blue T-shirt and beige cargo pants.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 5/7/2003, 900 block of N. Arlington Mill Dr., At 1600hrs, the victim, a 43yo male, was attacked by a known subject after he refused to give the subject money to buy beer. The victim struggled with the subject until he fled in a nearby vehicle. The subject was described as a WHM, 35-40, short, 150lbs wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and a camouflage bandana. The suspect vehicle was described as a black two-door.

The subject produced a silver handgun and ordered the victim to lie on the ground. The victim complied, and the subject removed an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s wallet. The subject then ran to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene toward Columbia Pike. A second subject was driving the vehicle. Subject #1 was described as WHM, 17-20, 5’08”, 160lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. Subject #2 was described as a WHM, 20, 5’06”, 180lbs wearing a blue shirt. The suspect vehicle was described as a white Nissan Pathfinder.

ARMED ROBBERY 5/4/2003, 5200 block of Columbia Pike, At 0100hrs, the victim, a 26yo male, was walking along Columbia Pike when two unknown subjects exited a vehicle that had pulled along side him. The subjects, one of whom was wielding a handgun, assaulted the victim and demanded his money. The victim gave the subjects an undetermined amount of cash. The subjects then returned to their vehicle and fled the scene westbound on Columbia Pike. Subject #1 was described as a WM, 18-20, 5’9”, 150lbs, blonde hair, no facial hair, wearing a white T-shirt and khaki pants. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 18-20, 6’0”, 160lbs, brown eyes, black hair, no facial hair, wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. The suspect vehicle was described as a green, 2003 Volvo S80.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 5/1/2003, 1200 block of S. Scott St., At 2307hrs, the victim, a 28yo female, had just entered a stairwell in her apartment building when an unknown subject attempted to grab her purse. The victim did not release her grip on the purse, and the subject fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a BM, 25, 5’5”, 155lbs wearing a bright blue T-shirt and blue jeans.

ROBBERY 4/29/2003, 4100 block of N. 11th St., At 1730hrs, the victims, both 16yo males, were walking when they were approached by two unknown subjects. The subjects demanded money from the victims and removed a wallet from one of the victim’s pockets. The other victim then gave the subjects his wallet. Both subjects fled the scene. Responding officers located the subjects a short time later and determined they were juveniles. Robbery charges are pending.

ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT 4/26/2003, 1200 blk S. Courthouse Rd., On 04/26/03, at 1450hrs, the victim, a 20yo female, was followed by two unknown subjects to her apartment. The victim was able to enter her apartment and close the door. The subjects attempted to open the door, but they were unsuccessful. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 28-30yo, 5’10”, 180lbs, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a blue skull-cap. Subject #2 was described as a BM.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 4/26/2003, 1000 blk S. Walter Reed Dr., On 04/26/03, at approximately 2300hrs, the victim, a 23yo male, was exiting a restaurant when he was attacked by three subjects. During the altercation, one of the subjects stabbed the victim in the chest. The subjects then fled the scene. The victim drove to a local hospital where he contacted police. Subject #1 is described as a WHM, 20-25, 5’6”, 165lbs. Subject #2 is described as a BHM, approx. 27yo, 5’8”, 180lbs, with black hair. Subject #3 was described as a BHM.

ROBBERY 4/26/2003, 1200 blk S. Scott St., On 04/26/03, at 2220hrs, the victim, a 21yo female, was walking into a building stairwell when she was approached by an unknown subject. The subject grabbed the victim’s purse and then walked up the stairs. The subject was described as a BM, 25-35, 5’8” wearing a loose white T-shirt and dark pants.

HOMICIDE 4/26/2003, 2400 blk S. Glebe Rd., On 04/26/03, at 2150hrs, the victim, a 19yo male, was attending a birthday party at the Econo Lodge when he was involved in an altercation during which he was fatally stabbed in the abdomen.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY/ATTEMPTED RAPE, 4/25/2003, 1600 blk N. 21st St., On 04/25/03, at 0159hrs, a subject entered a residence and attempted to sexually assault a 20yo female. The victim was able to alert her roommate who called police. Upon their arrival, police officers observed the subject exiting the apartment. The subject was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. Marco Moncello Kornegay, 35, of Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with burglary with intent to rape.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 4/21/2003, 800 blk S. Florida St., At approximately 2155hrs, the victim, a 27yo female, was walking from her vehicle to her residence when two unknown male subjects approached her from behind and attempted to remove the victim’s purse from her shoulder. The victim screamed and the subjects fled the scene without the purse. Suspect #1 is described as a WM, Hispanic, 30s, approx. 5’6”, medium build, wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue shirt. Suspect #2 is described as only as a WM, Hispanic.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/20/2003, 1900 blk N. Cameron St., On 04/20/03, at 0140hrs, the victim, a 27yo male, was sleeping in his car when two subjects, one of whom was wielding a shotgun, woke the victim and ordered him out of the car. One of the subjects got into the victim’s car and drove away, and the other subject fled the scene of foot. Both subjects were described as black males.

Glebe Rd., Sometime between 2300hrs on 04/18/03 and 1000 hrs on 04/19/03, unknown subject(s) entered two businesses and removed several items from each business including an undetermined amount of cash, beer, and jewelry. When the subject noticed that the victim could see him, he fled the scene. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5’6”, 150lbs, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 4/18/2003, 5100 blk Arlington Blvd., On 04/18/03, at 1625hrs, the victim, a 22yo female, was jogging on a bike path when an unknown male subject ran up and grabbed the victim’s chest and groin areas. The subject was described as a WHM, 20-30yo, 5’6”, 130-135lbs, wearing jeans, a light shirt and a jacket.

ENTICEMENT 4/17/2003, 3800 blk S. 12th St., At approximately 1410hrs, the victim, a 12yo female, was approached by an unknown male subject driving a vehicle. The subject told the victim to get into the vehicle. The victim screamed and ran home. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, 30s, wearing a white shirt and black pants. The suspect vehicle is described as a small 2D black truck.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 4/17/2003, 2500 blk N. Washington Blvd., At approximately 1800hrs on 04/15/03, the victim, a 33yo female, was approached by an unknown male subject while she was working in her yard. The subject briefly spoke with the victim, then reached out and grabbed her breast. The victim backed away from the subject and sprayed him with a garden hose. The subject was last seen walking westbound on Washington Blvd. The suspect is described as an AM of Indian descent.

ROBBERY 4/16/2003, 2800 blk Columbia Pike., At approximately 2210hrs, an unknown male subject entered a retail business and placed several items into a backpack. When confronted by the victim, a 21yo male employee of the business, the subject threatened the victim, implied that he had a weapon and walked out of the store. The victim then saw the subject get into a vehicle and leave the scene. The suspect is described as a BM, approx. 5’8”, 150lbs, wearing black pants, a brown shirt and black sneakers. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model red pickup truck.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/15/2003, 4700 N. Old Dominion, At 0145hrs, the victims, an 18yo male and a 19yo male, were walking on the sidewalk when they were approached by two unknown males. One of the subjects pointed a handgun at the victims. The victims gave their wallets to the subjects. Both subjects then walked away eastbound on N. 23rd St. Subject #1 was described as a BM,. 20’s, 6’0”, 220lbs, wearing a dark shirt and dark pants. Subject #2 was described as a WM, 19yo, 5’10”, 180lbs wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/14/2003, 3000 Spout Run Parkway, Sometime between 1830hrs on 04/09/03 and 0800hrs on 04/14/03, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole various pieces of jewelry and silverware. There were no signs of forced entry.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 4/14/2003, 5500 N. Fairfax Dr., At 1900hrs, the victim, a 23yo female, was jogging on the Custis Trail when an unknown subject approached her from behind and grabbed her groin area. The subject then fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, dark skinned, 37-42yo, wearing a long-sleeved sweater and dark pants.

ABDUCTION 4/14/2003, 4800 block of Columbia Pike, At 0555hrs, An Arlington officer was on patrol when he observed a male subject dragging a woman into the woods by the Four Mile Run bike trail. The officer confronted the subject, but the subject fled on foot. A canine officer apprehended the subject in the 800 block of S. Buchanan St. After being positively identified as the attacker and being interviewed by detectives, the 17-year-old subject was charged with abduction with intent to defile and attempted rape.

EXPOSURE 4/13/2003, 2700 block of S. Randolph St., At 2350hrs, the victim, a 33yo female, was watching a movie in a theater when an unknown subject sat next to her. The subject began to grunt, which caused the victim to glance at the subject. When she did, the victim realized the subject’s genitalia were exposed. The victim exited the theater and contacted police. Although the subject fled the scene before police arrived, officers located the subject while searching the area. Clarence Edward Hutson, 63, of Woodbridge, VA, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.

ROBBERY, 4/12/2003, 600 block of S. Adams St., At 2350hrs, the victim, a 70yo male, was walking in the 600 block of S. Adams when an unknown subject approached him from the rear. When the victim turned around, the subject assaulted him and knocked him to the ground. The subject then searched the victim and took his wallet. The subject fled the scene in an unknown direction. The subject was described as a male, 5’06” and 135lbs.

ROBBERY 4/11/2003, 4500 block of N. Lee Hwy., At 2335hrs an unknown subject entered a store and asked the clerk for change. When the clerk opened the register, the subject grabbed a stack of cash. The clerk struggled with the subject, but the subject was able to flee the scene with an undetermined amount of cash. The subject was described as a BM, 20-30yo, 5’11”, heavy build, wearing a white baseball cap, a multi-colored jacket with stripes and a black T-shirt.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/10/2003, 2700 blk of N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1830hrs on 04/09/03 and 1400hrs on 04/10/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business by breaking a window and reaching in to open a door. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing was taken.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/10/2003, 2300 blk of N. 11th St., Sometime between 2000hrs on 04/09/03 and 0600hrs on 04/10/03, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a residence by forcing open a locked door. The subject(s) did not gain entry.

CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A STOLEN FIREARM, WANTED PERSON, 4/9/2003, 2200 blk of Arlington Blvd., Upon stopping a vehicle for a traffic violation, officers discovered that one of the occupants had a handgun concealed in the waistband of his pants. Further investigation revealed that the armed occupant, Eric William Murray, 19yo, of the 4800 blk of E. Capital St., NE, Washington, D.C., was wanted in Prince George’s Co. for armed carjacking. Another handgun was discovered hidden under one of the seats of the vehicle. Murray was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed weapon, and is currently being held in the Arlington County Detention Facility.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 4/9/2003, 5200 blk of Columbia Pike., At approximately 2135hrs, the victim, a 27yo female, was approached by four unknown male subjects while at a gas station. Subject #1 mumbled something about the victim’s purse and the victim replied that she didn’t have anything. All four subjects walked around the victim’s car, then returned to the victim. Subject #1 asked the victim where her purse was. The victim again replied that she didn’t have anything and the subjects walked away. All four suspects are described as juvenile BMs, 15-17yo, wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY 4/8/2003, 5200 blk of S. 8th Rd., At approximately 2106hrs, the victim, a 53yo male, was approached by three unknown male subjects while entering the lobby of his apartment building. Two of the subjects surrounded the victim and demanded money. After the victim handed over an undetermined amount of cash, the subjects searched the victim’s pockets. Subject #1 then punched the victim in the face and all three subjects fled the scene heading east on S. 8th Rd. Subject #1 is described as a WM, possibly Hispanic, 20s, approx. 5’3”, 130lbs, wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and large jacket. Subject #2 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 6’, 140lbs, wearing a pullover jacket. Subject #3 is described only as a BM.

ROBBERY 4/7/2003, 3700 blk of S. Columbia Pike., At approximately 0040hrs, the victim, a 30yo male, was approached by four unknown male subjects while exiting a restaurant. Subject #1 removed the victim’s wallet from his pocket and shoved him to the ground. The other three subjects then began kicking the victim while subject #1 removed an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s wallet. The victim saw at least two of the subjects leave the scene in a green vehicle. Suspect #1 is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5’10”, 150lbs, thin beard, wearing a white shirt and black pants. The other three subjects are described only as WMs, Hispanic.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/7/2003, 2300 blk of N. 11th St., Sometime between 1800hrs on 04/05/03 and 1700hrs on 04/07/03, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a residence by tampering with a window. Entry to the dwelling was apparently not successful.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, GRAND LARCENY 4/6/2003, 4300 blk of N. Pershing Dr., At approximately 1950hrs, the victims, a 25yo female and a 25yo male, were returning to their vehicle when they noticed an unknown male subject in the vehicle attempting to remove the stereo. When confronted, the subject ran off with the male victim in chase. The subject got into the passenger side of a waiting vehicle and the male victim jumped on the hood to keep the vehicle from leaving. The driver of the vehicle accelerated and then stopped suddenly, throwing the victim to the ground. The driver then accelerated again, ran over the victim, and fled west on N. Pershing Dr. The victim was transported to a local hospital by helicopter and is expected to survive his injuries. ARMED ROBBERY 4/5/2003, 1200 blk of S. Fern St., At approximately 1920hrs, the victim, a 23yo female, was approached by two subjects while walking in an alley. Subject #1 demanded the victim’s purse while brandishing a length of metal pipe and threatening to hit the victim. The victim handed over the purse. Subject #1 then demanded the victim’s cell phone and pushed her to the ground when she didn’t immediately hand it over. Both subjects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 6’, 200lbs, wearing a red leather jacket, dark pants and silver jewelry. Suspect #2 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 6’, 200lbs, wearing a black coat and dark-colored pants.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/5/2003, 2200 blk of S. Fern St., At approximately 0013hrs, the victim, a 26yo male, was approached by an unknown male subject while walking to his car. The subject greeted the victim, demanded money and displayed a handgun. The victim handed over his wallet and the subject fled west on S. 22nd St. The suspect is described as a BM, 25yo, approx. 5’7”-5’8”, 150-160lbs, wearing a hooded white winter coat.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/4/2003, 2700 blk of N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1730hrs on 04/03/03 and 1040hrs on 04/04/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business by breaking a window and reaching in to open a door. Nothing appeared to be removed from the premises.

ROBBERY 4/4/2003, 5000 blk of S. Chesterfield Rd., At approximately 0105hrs, the victim, a 38yo male, was walking to his home after parking his vehicle when he was approached by three unknown male subjects. Subject #1 demanded money and the victim ran toward an apartment building. The subjects chased the victim, knocked him to the ground and took an undetermined amount of cash and a cell phone. The subjects then left the scene heading south on S. Chesterfield Rd. Suspect #1 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 5’8”, 155lbs, wearing blue jeans, white shirt, black jacket and black skull cap. Suspect #2 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 5’8”, 155lbs, wearing blue jeans and white shirt. Suspect #3 is described as a BM, 20s, approx. 5’8”, 155lbs.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 4/3/2003, 300 block of N. Glebe Rd., At approximately 2200hrs, the victim, a 28yo male, was walking to his car in a parking lot when an unknown male approached him. The victim got into his car and locked the door. The subject produced a knife and demanded the victim to open the door, but the victim drove away. The subject was described as a WM, 6’1”, 150lbs wearing a cream shirt and cream pants.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, BURGLARY 4/3/2003, 4400 blk of S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 2140hrs, the victims, a 41yo male and a 38yo female, were attacked in their residence by four unknown male subjects. When the male victim answered a knock on the door, the subjects forced their way in and began to attack the victims. Two subjects struck the male victim on the head with a handgun while the other two subjects attacked the female subject with the butt of a rifle. While struggling with two of the subjects, the male victim managed to open the front door, after which all four subjects fled the residence. Nothing was taken from the victims or the premises. Suspect #1 is described as a WM, Hispanic, 20s, tall, medium build, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and baseball hat. Suspect #2 is described as a WM, Hispanic, 20s, short, thin build, mustache, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans. Suspect #3 is described as a WM, Hispanic, 20s, heavy build, wearing a black shirt and pants. Suspect #4 is described as a WM, Hispanic, 20s, approx. 5’5”, medium build, wearing a long-sleeved off-white shirt, blue jeans, ball cap.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/3/2003, 1200 blk of N. Meade St., Sometime between 0745hrs and 1825hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed a portable stereo. Entry was possibly made through a window that the resident left open.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/3/2003, 1800 blk of S. Columbia Pike., Sometime between 0740hrs and 1920hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a residence by prying open the front door. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing was removed.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 4/3/2003, 3800 blk of S. Columbia Pike., At approximately 1300hrs, the victim, a 42yo female, was sitting in her vehicle at a stoplight when she noticed an unknown male subject standing on the sidewalk with his pants zipper open and his genitals exposed. When the victim picked up her cell phone to call police, the subject walked away. The suspect is described as a BM, 30-40yo, approx. 6’+, 160lbs, very dark complexion, reddish hair, wearing a short-sleeved white shirt w/ brown stripes and white pants.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 4/3/2003, 1800 blk of S. Grant St., At approximately 1700hrs on 04/02/03, the victims, both juvenile females, were approached by an unknown male subject in a vehicle who asked for directions. As the victims approached the vehicle to help the subject, one victim noticed that the subject was masturbating and pulled the other victim away. The subject then left the scene heading north on S. Grant St. The suspect is described as a WM, 30s, “clean cut”, wearing a tan-colored military-style uniform shirt with pins on it.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/1/2003, 2800 blk of N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1945hrs on 03/31/03 and 1000hrs on 04/01/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business and removed three vehicle keys. One of the keys was then apparently used to remove a silver 2000 4D Nissan Altima from the lot. Entry was gained by forcibly opening a window.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/1/2003, 4300 blk of N. 26th St., Sometime between 2100hrs on 03/27/03 and 0845hrs on 04/01/03, unknown subject(s) entered a residence, ransacked the premises and removed several jars of coins. Entry was apparently made by forcing a window open.

ROBBERY 4/1/2003, 1500 blk of Columbia Pike, At approximately 1930hrs, the victim, a 26yo male, was waiting at a bus stop when he was approached by three unknown male subjects. One subject asked the victim for money and then all three subjects attacked him. The victim was punched and stabbed. The subjects removed the victim’s wallet before fleeing the scene. All three suspects are described as BMs, approx. 6’-6’3”, 180-200lbs, wearing black pants and black jackets.
