DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY 6/30/2004, 1500 blk N. Stafford St, 4000 blk N. 15th St., Between 1600hrs on 06/29/04 and 0710hrs on 06/30/04, subject(s) smashed various windows, lights, and mirrors on 11 different vehicles parked in the 1500blk of N. Stafford St & the 4000 blk of N. 15th St.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/29/2004, 1900 blk N. Wayne St., Between 1700hrs on 06/26/04 and 1645hrs on 06/29/04, a subject entered the residence by breaking a window on a rear door. A firearm was stolen.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/29/2004, 4700 blk N. 25th St., Between 1100hrs and 1355hrs on 06/29/04, a subject entered the residence through an unlocked door. Silverware and jewelry items were stolen.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/29/2004, 3100 blk Jefferson Davis Hwy., At approximately 0427 hrs on 06/29/04, units responded to a business located in the 3100 blk of Jefferson Davis Hwy for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, a subject inside the business was seen through a window. The subject fled the building. Nothing appeared to be missing from the business. Suspect description: BM, 6’0”, 170 #, wearing dark clothing, no further information.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 6/25/2004, 2500 blk Columbia Pike, At approximately 0132 hrs on 06/25/04, units responded to the 2500 blk of Columbia Pike for a fight-in-progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that a subject had been struck on the head with a bottle, causing a laceration. The investigation is pending.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/23/2004, 1000 blk N. Fillmore St., At 0136hrs on 06/23/04, a subject threw a rock through the front glass window and entered a business at this location. An audible alarm sounded, which, coupled with arriving police units, may have frightened the subject. Suspect description: Male, no further info; Suspect vehicle description, white 4dr compact car, no further info.

B&E/GRAND LARCENY/ASSAULT ON OFFICER 6/22/2004, 4300 blk N. Fairfax Dr., At approximately 0840hrs, units responded to the area of 4300 N. Fairfax Dr. for a larceny from an office that had just occurred. The subject entered a secured office suite and attempted to leave with a laptop when he was confronted by employees. The subject fled on foot, and was located in the area by officers who apprehended him after a short foot pursuit and a struggle. Arrested for Breaking & Entering, Attempt Grand Larceny, and Assault on Police Officer: Timothy E. Kelly, 41YO, of Lanham, MD, held on $7500 secured bond.

ROBBERY 6/22/2004, 4000 blk S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 0922hrs on 06/22/04, a delivery truck driver was dropping off packages when he interrupted a subject, inside the delivery compartment of his truck, sorting through his cargo. The subject brandished a firearm and threatened the victim, a 42YO male, with it, stole boxes of tobacco products and fled the scene in a vehicle. Suspect description: BM, 6’1”, 250#, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black hat & scarf. Suspect vehicle description: Chevrolet 4dr, unknown model, Maroon, w/ DC tags.

BURGLARY 6/21/2004, 3600 blk S. Kemper Rd., Between 0800hrs on 06/18/04 and 1230hrs on 06/21/04, unknown person(s) entered a residence by tampering with the front door. A laptop, DVD player, and bicycle were stolen.

ROBBERY 6/21/2004, 1300 blk S. 28th St., At approximately 1530hrs on 06/21/04, the 32YO male victim was entering a building in the 1300 blk of S. 28th St. when two subjects pinned him against a wall and took his wallet. One of the subjects removed cash from the wallet and punched the victim in the face. Suspect descriptions: #01, BF, teens, wearing a black shirt w/ white stripes & black pants; #02, BF, teens, wearing a white shirt and a black skirt.

BANK ROBBERY 6/21/2004, 200 blk N. Glebe Rd., At approximately 1220hrs on 06/21/04, a subject brandishing a firearm entered a bank, grabbed a teller and threatened her unless his demand for money was fulfilled. The bank manager complied, and the subject fled the bank on foot. Suspect description: BM, 30’s, 5’10”, 230#, dark complexion, heavy build, wearing a black button-down shirt, black pants, and a black ski mask. Suspect’s head is possibly shaved bald.

ROBBERY 6/19/2004, 300 blk N. Glebe Rd., At approximately 2244hrs on 06/19/04, a subject approached a cashier to make a purchase. When the cashier opened her drawer, the subject pushed her hands aside and removed cash from the register drawer. Two customers were pushed by the subject as he fled the store on foot. Suspect description: BM, 20-25YO, 5’10”, dark complexion, slim build, wearing a long-sleeved black t-shirt with white stripe, dark pants, black cap.

BURGLARY 6/17/2004, 1800 blk N. Wayne St., Between 1500hrs on 06/17/04 and 1000hrs on 06/18/04, unknown person(s) entered a residence undergoing renovation by breaking a window. Appliances and tools were stolen. There is no suspect information.

ROBBERY 6/16/2004, 3100 blk Lee Hwy., At approximately 1420hrs on 06/16/04, store personnel were counting money at the customer service desk when a subject pushed aside one of the clerks, grabbed cash, and fled on foot. Suspect description: BM, 25 YO, 6’02”, 300#, close-shaven beard, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, tan work boots, black & gray baseball cap.

ROBBERY 6/16/2004, 200 blk N. Fillmore St., At approximately 0230hrs on 06/16/04, the 19 YO female victim and her friend were leaving DC via automobile when the occupants of another vehicle threw bottles at them. The victims followed the suspect vehicle while informing DC police, and traveled into Arlington County to the area of N. 2nd and Fillmore St., where the suspects stopped their vehicle and confronted the victims. One of the suspects took the victim’s cell phone, and the subjects entered the vehicle, removing some of the victims’ belongings. Suspect vehicle description: 1999 Toyota 4D, silver; Suspect descriptions: #01, WM, Hispanic, 20 YO, 5’09”, 170#, #02 - #04, WF, Hispanic, 5’2”, 120#.

ROBBERY 6/12/2004, 1000 blk N. Stafford St., At approximately 2100 hrs on 06/12/04, the 32 YO male victim was walking in the 1000 blk of N. Stafford St. when two subjects approached him and pushed him to the ground. The subjects beat the victim and robbed him of his wallet and cell phone. Responding officers established a perimeter and took one of the suspects into custody. Arrested for Robbery & held with No Bond: Maurice M. Washington, 21 YO, of Washington, DC. Investigation is pending regarding the other suspect.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/11/2004, 1800 blk N. Herndon St., Between 1145hrs and 1215hrs on 06/10/04, a subject approached a residence and attempted to solicit business for his yard service. The victims were not interested, and eventually went outside and tended to their garden on the side of the house, leaving the front door ajar. A short time later, they discovered the same subject on their property, who appeared to have just exited their residence. Multiple pieces of jewelry were missing from the residence. Suspect description: WM, olive complexion, 35-40 YO, 5’10”, wearing a white shirt, white pants, carrying a black backpack.

ROBBERY/ABDUCTION 6/11/2004, 1300 S. 28th St., At 1630hrs on 06/11/04, the 55 YO female victim was approached by a subject who claimed he worked for a local grocery store security. The suspect accused the victim of passing counterfeit money at the store, and ushered her into his vehicle, driven by a second suspect. He demanded her wallet, removed cash, and told her to get out of the car. Suspect vehicle description: gray Honda. Suspect #01: WM, Hispanic, 5’5”, 120#, brown hair, brown eyes, mustache, wearing a pink & white striped shirt, white pants, black shoes; Suspect #02: WF, Hispanic, brown hair w/ blonde highlights, wearing a white blouse.

ROBBERY 6/10/2004, 800 blk S. Greenbrier St., At approximately 2225 hours, an unknown male subject knocked the 35yo female victim to the ground and grabbed her purse. The subject then fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, late teens/early 20s, approx. 5’5”, 175lbs, “chubby”, wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/10/2004, 1700 blk S. Arlington Ridge Rd., Sometime between 2030hrs on 06/09/04 and 0645hrs on 06/10/04, unknown subject(s) broke into a construction trailer and removed several pieces of equipment. Entry was made by cutting locks on the doors.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 6/9/2004, 3300 blk Wilson Blvd., At approximately 1110hrs on 06/09/04, a witness reported seeing an unknown male subject trying doors at a motel. The subject eventually entered a room where a housekeeper confronted him. When the housekeeper left to notify a manager, the subject fled the scene on a bicycle. The suspect is described as a BM, 30s, approx. 5’11”, thin build, slight facial hair, wearing a blue baseball cap, green button-down shirt and carrying a backpack.

ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION 6/7/2004, 300 blk N. Thomas St., At approximately 1100hrs on 06/07/04, an unknown male subject claiming to be an exterminator entered an apartment. He then held the resident, a 27yo female, in a bathroom and attempted to subdue her. The victim screamed and the subject fled the scene, eventually driving off in a white 2-door pickup truck. The suspect is described as a BM, 30s, approx. 5’9”, 180lbs, wearing a long-sleeved light blue shirt and dark blue pants and carrying a handheld sprayer.

PEEPING TOM 6/7/2004, 200 blk N. Thomas St., At approximately 2300hrs on 06/07/04, a witness reported seeing an unknown male subject looking into apartment windows. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5’6”, 165lbs w/ long black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/6/2004, 2100 blk S. Kenmore St., Sometime between 1300 and 1500hrs on 06/06/04, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items including a pellet rifle and CD player. There were no signs of forced entry.

ARMED ROBBERY 6/6/2004, 400 blk N. Thomas St., At approximately 0225hrs on 06/06/04, a 24yo male was approached on the street by two unknown male subjects. One subject displayed a knife and the other subject displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the subjects fled the scene. Subject #1 is described as a BM, mid or late 20s, approx. 6’, 180lbs, wearing blue shorts, white shirt, and a black ball cap on backwards. Subject #2 is described as a BM, early 20s, approx. 5’10”, 150lbs, wearing blue shorts, black shirt and black shoes.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/4/2004, 4100 blk N. 4th St., Sometime between 0500 and 1600hrs on 06/04/04, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items, including a DVD player, camera and an undisclosed amount of cash. Entry was made through a window.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 6/4/2004, 2800 blk N. Clarendon Blvd., At approximately 1745hrs on 06/04/04, a 22yo female was approached by an unknown male subject while she was working in a store. The subject made suggestive remarks to the victim and then touched the victim’s buttocks. The subject left the scene when another customer entered the store. The subject is described as a WM, 50s, wearing a plaid shirt and green pants.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/BRANDISHING A FIREARM 6/4/2004, 3600 blk S. 9th St., At approximately 1842hrs on 06/04/04, two adult male subjects known to each other became involved in a dispute. One subject produced a handgun and pointed it at the other. He then struck the victim several times in the face with the handgun. Ronald Louis Johnson, 43yo, of Bladensburg, MD, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and brandishing a firearm.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/3/2004, 2100 blk S. 2nd St., At approximately 2100hrs on 06/03/04, an unknown male subject attempted to enter a residence through a window. The subject left the scene when challenged by the resident.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 6/3/2004, 1500 blk S. George Mason Dr., Sometime between 0900 and 1300hrs on 06/03/04, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items including video games, video game equipment, clothing and cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO/ELUDING/HIT & RUN 6/1/2004, 4100 blk S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 0309hrs on 06/01/04, officers responded to the 4100 blk of S. Four Mile Run Dr. for a Tampering with Auto in progress. Officers located two vehicles leaving the area, stopped one of the vehicles, and broadcast a lookout for the other. A short time later, the second suspect vehicle crashed into a lamppost and the driver fled on foot. Investigation revealed that the subjects had just stolen one of the vehicles, and two subjects were eventually arrested for various charges including Grand Larceny Auto, Hit and Run, and Felony Eluding.

ROBBERY 5/31/2004, 1100 blk S. Jefferson St., At approximately 1720hrs, the 23YO female victim was walking in the 1100 blk of S. Jefferson St. when a subject grabbed her purse from her arm and fled on foot. Suspect description: WM, 18-20YO, 5’4”, 180#, wearing black pants, black t-shirt, and a black bandana over his face.

BURGLARY 5/30/2004, 3900 blk Lorcum Lane, Between 2355hrs on 05/29/04 and 0720hrs on 05/30/04, unknown subject(s) entered the church via a bathroom window. Multiple items of musical equipment were stolen.

BURGLARY 5/29/2004, 2700 blk N. Yucatan St., Between 2000hrs on 05/27/04 and 1000hrs on 05/29/04, unknown subject(s) entered the residence through an unlocked kitchen window. A laptop, money, and various items of TV/electronic equipment were stolen.

ROBBERY 5/29/2004, 2000 blk S. Jeff Davis Hwy., At approximately 2244hrs on 05/29/04, the 23YO female victim met with a male in her hotel room. Another male subject knocked on the door, and gained entry to the room by impersonating a police officer. Subject #02 ordered the victim into the bathroom, while he removed her money from the hotel room. Both subjects left the hotel room, whereupon the victim discovered her money was missing. The victim contacted other persons who had rented the room with her, and they followed the subjects in their vehicles until police apprehended them. Charges are pending on the two male suspects.

BANK ROBBERY 5/28/2004, 4700 blk Lee Hwy., At approximately 1329hrs on 05/28/04, officers responded to a bank hold-up alarm. Upon arrival, they learned that a bank robbery had just occurred. A subject entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon, and demanded money from the tellers. The tellers complied and the subject left the bank on foot. Suspect description: Male, 6’0”, heavy-set, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sunglasses & red bandana covering face.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 5/26/2004, 600 blk S. Greenbrier St., At approximately 1753hrs on 05/26/04, officers responded to the 600 blk of S. Greenbrier St. for a report of a stabbing. Inside the residence, officers discovered the victim with a potentially life-threatening stab wound to the chest. He was transported by helicopter to a local hospital where he was treated for his injury. He is expected to survive A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the malicious wounding of his twin brother and is currently being held in the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Home without bond. The identities of the suspect and the victim are being withheld due to their age.

RECOVERED STOLEN AUTO/ELUDING 5/26/2004, 2000 blk Columbia Pike, At approximately 0022hrs on 05/26/04, officers located a stolen vehicle in the 2000 blk of Columbia Pike. Arlington units activated emergency equipment and attempted to stop the vehicle, which continued southbound on Interstate 395. The suspect vehicle struck multiple police cruisers and a guardrail before coming to rest. The driver was uncooperative and resisted arrest. Warrants were obtained by multiple jurisdictions for Attempt Malicious Wounding on Police, Grand Larceny Auto, and Felony Eluding; the subject also had outstanding arrest warrants in other jurisdictions. Arrested: Glenn Agustus Duck, 38 YO, of Manassas.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 5/24/2004, 1600 blk Lee Hwy., At approximately 1542hrs on 05/24/04, the 29 YO female victim was walking on the bike trail near the 1600 blk of Lee Hwy when a subject grabbed her groin area. The subject fled on foot. Suspect description: WM, 6’, 190#, late 20’s – early 30’s, brown curly hair, wearing a dark green shirt and dark shorts.

BURGLARY 5/23/2004, 6800 blk N. 19th Rd., At approximately 1800hrs on 05/23/04, residents reported hearing knocking at the front door, which went unanswered. A few minutes later, the residents heard the voice of an unknown subject who had entered the home. The subject left immediately when her presence was discovered. Suspect description: Female, no further description; suspect vehicle description: black pick-up truck.

ROBBERY 5/22/2004, 2600 blk S. Shirlington Rd., At approximately 1852hrs on 05/22/04, the 45 YO male victim was walking in the 2600 blk of S. Shirlington Rd. when two subjects punched him and took cash and his cell phone from him. Suspect descriptions: #01, WM, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’9”, shirtless, no further description; #02, WM, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’3”, long hair, wearing black pants and a t-shirt.

ROBBERY 5/21/2004, 5200 blk S. 8th Rd., At approximately 2345hrs on 05/21/04, the 36 YO male victim was walking in the 5200 blk of S. 8th Rd. when a subject approached him from behind. The subject pressed an object, which the victim perceived to be a gun, into the victim’s back, and grabbed the victim’s cell phone. The subject fled on foot. Suspect description: WM, late 20’s - early 30’s, 5’10”, medium build, wearing a gray cap w/ red brim, white shirt, blue jeans.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/18/2004, 1400 blk S. 28th St., Between 1100hrs and 1600hrs on 05/18/04, unknown subject(s) entered the residence through an unlocked window. DVDs, a Sony Playstation2, and a small amount of change were stolen. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY 5/16/2004, 1000 blk S. Cleveland St., Between 0700 and 0800hrs on 05/16/04, a subject entered one residence and attempted to enter another residence by forcing open the front door. Arrested for Burglary, Unlawful Entry, and Peeping, held with no bond: Gadsden, Tyrone, 59 YO, of No Fixed Address.

BRANDISHING OF FIREARM 5/15/2004, 2000 blk N. Adams St., At approximately 2000hrs on 05/15/04, the 47 YO male victim entered a parking garage and a subject attempted to restrict his access to the garage. Once he parked his vehicle, the subject approached him and pointed a black revolver at him. Suspect description: WM, 50’s, 5’7”, 200#, “heavy” build, wearing a striped shirt and shorts.

ARMED ROBBERY 5/15/2004, 400 blk N. Thomas St., At approximately 0539hrs on 05/15/04, the 49 YO male victim encountered an acquaintance who beat him with a wooden club and robbed him of cash. A second male victim, a friend of the first victim, attempted to intervene and was also beaten by the subject. Arrested for Robbery and Assault and Battery, held with no bond: Mohammad Haround Rashid, 35 YO, of Annandale.

ARMED ROBBERY 5/15/2004, 2800 blk Washington Blvd., At approximately 1709hrs on 05/15/04, the 20 YO male victim was walking in the 2800 blk of Washington Blvd. when a motorist approached him. The vehicle driver, armed with a handgun, ordered the victim into the vehicle and demanded money. The victim surrendered his money and was ordered from the vehicle. Suspect description: WF, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’5” 150#, brown eyes/black hair, wearing blue shirt. Suspect vehicle description: Maroon Chev Suburban, no further description.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY 5/14/2004, 2300 blk N. 11th St., At approximately 2220hrs on 05/14/04, two male victims, ages 18 and 19, were walking in the 2300 blk of N. 11th St. when a vehicle approached them and 5 subjects exited. One subject pointed a handgun at the victims, as another held a baseball bat. The subjects demanded money from the victims, and the victims fled on foot. Suspect descriptions: #01, WM, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’8”, 150#, wearing black clothing & black bandana over face; #02, WM, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’8”, 140#, wearing black clothing & black bandana over face; #03 - #05, Males, no further description, wearing black clothing. Suspect vehicle description: Silver Toyota, possibly Corolla.

ATTEMPT ABDUCTION 5/12/2004, Unit blk N. Granada St., At approximately 1500hrs on 05/12/04, a 65-year-old female babysitter was walking on the W & OD bike trail just north of Rt. 50 with a 14-month-old child when she was approached by the suspect. After a short conversation, the suspect began pulling the babysitter and the child toward Four Mile Run. The babysitter was able to free herself from the suspect and flee with the child. Suspect description: WM, in his 20s, approximately 5'7" tall, medium build with short blond hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up and brown or khaki sweatpants. The suspect also has a tattoo on his left upper arm.

PEEPING 5/10/2004, 4300 blk N. 2nd St., At approximately 2304hrs on 05/10/04, officers responded for a report of a subject peering into bedroom windows in the area. Arrested for Peeping: Rodrigo Roblero-Alvarado, 20 YO, of the 200 blk of N. Glebe Rd.

ROBBERY 5/9/2004, 800 blk S. Ivy St., At approximately 0540hrs on 05/09/04, three subjects entered the residence through an unlocked door and assaulted the victim and a roommate, demanding money. The subjects took various items from the victims and fled on foot. Officers responding to the call located all three subjects and took them into custody without incident. Arrested for Robbery and held with no bond: Juan Carlos Terceros Orosco, 37, of the 2100 blk of S. Kenmore St; Pepe Gaston Galindo, 34, of the 800 blk of S. Greenbrier St; and Luis F. Fernandez Retamozo, 29, of the 2800 blk of Cameron Rd., Falls Church.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 5/7/2004, 600 blk N. Randolph St., Between 2200hrs on 05/06/04 and 0710hrs on 05/07/04, unknown subject(s) entered the business and stole cash. Entry was made by breaking a glass window in the front of the business.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 5/7/2004, 5100 blk S. 11th St., Between 1200 hrs and 1500 hrs on 05/07/04, unknown subject(s) entered the residence and stole a computer, monitor, Playstation, and DVDs. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY, 05/06/04, 2200 block of N. Buchanan St., On 05/06/04, at hrs, the victim, a 40yo male, approached a vehicle that was parked a lot parking lot in the 4700 block of Lee Hwy. After speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, the victim walked to the 2200 block of Buchanan St. One of the occupants of the vehicle followed the victim, and, after displaying a handgun, demanded the victim's money. The victim complied and the subject fled the scene on foot south on N. Buchanan St. The subject was described as a BM, early 20s, 5'9", 170lbs, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue bandana and blue jeans.

RAPE, 04/30/04, 1200 block S. Fern St., At approximately 2:30 a.m., a subject picked up an 18-year-old female in the District of Columbia and drove her to the 1200 block of South Fern Street. He then produced a handgun and raped the victim before fleeing the scene. Leon Allen Brown, 23, of Alexandria, was arrested on 05/04/04 and charged with rape and abduction. He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility.

ABDUCTION, 04/30/04, 4300 block of Henderson Rd., At approximately 2230hrs on 04/30/04, the victim, a 25yo female, was sitting in a car with a friend when the subject, the victims ex-boyfriend, approached the car. The subject displayed a handgun and ordered the victim into his car. The subject threatened to harm the victim before letting her go. Jose Mercedes Barahona, 35, of Fairfax was arrested and charged with kidnapping. He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility.

ROBBERY, 05/03/04, 300 block of N. Thomas St., On 05/03/04, at 2110hrs, the victim, a 22yo male, was driving on N. Thomas St. when he stopped to talk to an acquaintance. The acquaintance and three other subjects approached the victims car. The acquaintance (Subject #1) demanded money from the victim. The victim initially complied. Subject #2 and Subject #3 then opened the car door, grabbed the victim and demanded more money. Subject #4 stood in front of the victims car during the incident. All four subjects then walked away from the scene north on N. Thomas St.

After further investigation, officers arrested Gilmar Hernandez (Subject #1), 22, of the 200 block of N. Thomas St., and Rurik Lopez-Molina (Subject #2), 21, of the 300 block of N. Glebe Rd. Both were charged with robbery and were held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility. Subject #3 is described as a a WHM, 22, 510, 200lbs, brown eyes and hair, medium complexion, wearing a blue or brown sweatshirt. Subject #4 is described as a WHM, 22, 55, 150lbs, brown hair and eyes, medium complexion, wearing a white shirt.

PEEPING TOM, 05/01/04, 4100 block of N. 3rd Rd., On 05/01/04, at 0249hrs, the victim, a 41yo female, was inside her apartment when she heard a loud noise outside her window. Upon looking outside the window, the victim observed a male dressed in dark clothing looking in the window. Responding officers located a subject matching the description. After further investigation, the subject, Carlos Noel Reyes, 19, of the 400 block of N. Thomas St., was arrested and charged with peeping.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 05/03/04, 2300 block of S. 2nd St., Sometime between 0800hrs and 0830hrs on 05/03/04, unknowns subject(s) entered a residence and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 05/03/04, 2100 block of N. Rolfe St., Sometime between 2030hrs on 04/26/04 and 0900hrs on 04/27/04, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole a credit card and a cellular telephone. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/VANDALISM, 05/01/03, 3900 Cathedral Lane, Sometime between 1830hrs on 05/01/04 and 0750hrs on 05/02/04, unknown subject(s) broke into the St. Thomas More Cathedral and spray-painted obscene and religiously offensive language in the building. There were no signs of forced entry at the school.

During the same time period, at least 18 vehicles and structures between the 4400 and 5800 blocks of Arlington Blvd. were also spray-painted with obscene and religiously and racially offensive language and symbols, including swastikas. Two WM teens, were seen in the area during the time period in question riding BMX-style bicycles.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/29/2004, 800 blk S. Walter Reed Dr., At approximately 0148hrs on 04/29/04, officers responded for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, a subject was observed walking inside the building. The subject exited the building through a window and, after a brief foot pursuit, was apprehended by officers. Arrested for Burglary and Grand Larceny: Darryl T. Woods, 43YO, of Sterling, VA.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY 4/29/2004, 900 blk N. Wayne St., At approximately 2325hrs on 04/29/04, the 39YO female victim was walking in the 900 blk of N. Wayne St. when two subjects walked toward her, demanding her purse. One of the subjects struck her in the face with an unknown object and grabbed for her purse. The victim resisted and fled to safety. Suspect description: #01, BM, 30YO, 5’09”, 160#, wearing black pants and a black zippered hooded pullover; #02, BM, 30YO, 6’0, 160#, wearing dark clothing. Possible suspect vehicle: 1990’s Pontiac, dark-colored, bearing MD tags.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/28/2004, 1200 blk S. Thomas St., At approximately 1755hrs on 04/28/04, two subjects entered the victim? residence by forcing open the front door. The subjects attempted to steal a computer, but were interrupted by the victim. Suspect description: #01, WM, Hispanic, 18-20 YO, 5145#, blue clothing; #02, BM, 19-20 YO, 5 170#, blue clothing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/27/2004, 6800 blk N. Williamsburg Blvd., Sometime between 0900 and 1930hrs on 04/27/04, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. Entry was made by prying open a window.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/26/04, 3200 block of N. Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 2300hrs on 04/25/04 and 0610hrs on 04/26/04, unknown suspect(s) entered a store and stole an undisclosed amount of money from a safe. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/26/04, 4200 block of N. Fairfax Drive, Sometime between 1700hrs on 04/23/04 and 0800hrs on 04/26/04, unknown subject(s) entered an office suite and stole two laptop computers. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY 4/26/2004, 4400 blk N. Henderson Rd., At 0229hrs on 04/26/04, the 19YO male victim was walking in the 4400 blk of N. Henderson Rd. when two subjects grabbed the victim and demanded money. The subjects struck the victim multiple times in the head, and the victim surrendered his wallet. Suspect descriptions: #01, BM, 20’s, 5’10”-6’0, with goatee, slim build, wearing black clothing and black bandana; #02, BM, 20’s, 5’10”-6’0, with mustache, slim build, wearing black clothing and black bandana.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/26/2004, 2300 blk S. Crystal Dr., At 0003hrs on 04/26/04, the 27YO female victim was walking in the 2300 blk of S. Crystal Dr. when a vehicle approached her. The passenger rolled down the window and pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the vehicle fled the scene. Suspect vehicle description: Black Ford Focus, black tinted windows, tan leather interior. Suspect description, passenger: BM, 21-24YO, 5’2” (seated), 140#, black braided hair, wearing a black shirt.

ROBBERY 4/25/2004, 800 blk S. Frederick St., At 0110hrs on 04/25/04, the 22YO male victim received a ride from two subjects. Upon exiting the vehicle, the subjects grabbed the victim, punched him, and removed cash from his pocket. The subjects remained in the area, were arrested, and warrants were obtained for robbery, held with no bond. The subjects’ information is not available at this time.

ATTEMPT ARMED ROBBERY 4/24/2004, 4800 blk Columbia Pike, At 0205hrs on 04/24/04, the 24YO male victim was approached by a subject, armed with a knife, who demanded money. The subjects surrounded him and demanded money. The victim complied, and the subjects fled on foot. SEXUAL ASSAULT 4/24/2004, 1500 blk Wilson Blvd., At 2115hrs, the 30YO female victim was walking in the 1500 blk of Clarendon Blvd when an unknown subject fondled her. The subject fled on foot. At 2120hrs, another victim, a 25YO female, was walking in the 1500 blk of Wilson Blvd when an unknown subject of similar description approached her from behind and reached under her skirt. Suspect description: BM, dark complexion, 5’8’’, 175#, 20’s, wearing a navy blue polo shirt, khaki pants, carrying a dark backpack.

ROBBERY 4/14/2004, 2000 blk S. Grant St., On 04/14/04 at approximately 2130hrs, the 33YO male victim was approached by a subject who grabbed him and demanded his wallet. As they struggled, two more subjects joined and demanded the victim’s wallet, stating that they were armed with a gun. The victim complied, and the subjects fled the scene in a small silver or light-colored vehicle. Suspect description is WM, Hispanic, 15-25 YO, no further information.

ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING/RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/13/2004, 3000 blk S. 18th St., On 04/13/04 at 1430hrs, a subject known to the victims, a 22YO male and a 22YO female, forced entry into the residence and attempted to stab them. The same subject is believed to have vandalized the male victim’s vehicle prior to breaking into the residence. Officers took the suspect into custody nearby the residence. Arrested: Juan Pablo Aguilon Ralda, 21, of the 400 blk of N. Thomas St, held without bond for Attempt Malicious Wounding, Residential Burglary, and Felony Destruction of Property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/12/2004, 4800 blk N. 1st St., Between 2330hrs on 04/11/04 and 1122hrs on 04/12/04, unknown subject(s) entered a business in the 4800 blk of N. 1st St. by prying open the rear door. A cash register and its contents were stolen. There is no suspect description.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/12/2004, 2800 blk S. Buchanan St., At approximately 1712 hrs, officers responded to the 2800 blk of S. Buchanan St. for an armed robbery that had just occurred. The victim, a 36YO female, was exiting her vehicle when two subjects pushed her back into the vehicle, threatened her with a knife, and took her purse from her. Officers stopped a vehicle based on a lookout, and the subjects were arrested for the robbery. Arrested: Kourtnay M. Taylor, 18, of the 1900 blk of S. Lowell St, and two juvenile subjects (names withheld due to age).

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 4/12/2004, 5900 blk Wilson Blvd., At approximately 1418hrs, units responded to the 5900 blk of Wilson Blvd for a stabbing. The 39YO female victim was stabbed by a male subject known to her. Officers took the subject into custody without incident. Arrested: Richard Lee Bolling, 65YO, of the 5900 blk of Wilson Blvd., held without bond for Malicious Wounding.

HOMICIDE 4/12/2004, 400 block of S. Wayne St., At approximately 1:43 p.m. on 04/12/04, officers were dispatched to the 400 blk of S. Wayne St. to assist medics. A babysitter returning to the residence reported finding a 41YO female victim unconscious on the floor. A male subject was also in the house suffering from lacerations on his arms. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released today.

Arrested: James William Powell, Jr., 44YO, of Arlington and charged with murdering his wife, who died from her injury soon after being transported to a local hospital. Powell is currently being held in the Arlington County Detention Facility with no bond.

ROBBERY 4/12/2004, 4600 blk S. King St., At approximately 0036hrs on 04/12/04, the three adult male victims stopped in their taxi in the 4600 blk of S. King St. They were approached by a subject who sprayed an unknown pepper spray at them and stole one victim’s wallet. The subject fled on foot from the scene. Suspect description: BM, 5’10”, heavy-set, possibly w/ beard, wearing all black clothing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/11/2004, 1800 blk N. Moore St., At approximately 0520hrs on 04/11/04, units responded for an alarm at a business in the 1800 blk of N. Moore St., and found the front window to the business had been broken. Multiple cartons of cigarettes were stolen. There is no suspect description.

RAPE/ROBBERY 4/11/2004, 300 blk S. 6th St., At approximately 0440hrs on 04/11/04, the victim met the subject in DC. The subject drove the victim into Arlington and parked in the 300 blk of S. 6th St., where he raped and robbed her. The subject left the scene in his vehicle. Suspect description: BM, 20-25YO, 5’05”, 165#, wearing brown shirt, blue slacks. Suspect vehicle: black 4dr Nissan Maxima.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY 4/11/2004, 1400 blk S. Jeff Davis Hwy., At approximately 0439hrs on 04/11/04, a subject entered the lobby of a business located in the 1400 blk of S. Jeff Davis Hwy, and produced a note, demanding money and threatening that a bomb was in the business. The subject fled on foot. Description: WM, 19YO, 5’09”, 165#, blue eyes/red hair, wearing baggy blue jeans and a white, blue, & pink striped shirt.

ARMED ROBBERY 4/11/2004, 900 blk S. Buchanan St., At approximately 0220hrs on 04/11/04, the victim, a 36YO male, was walking in the 900 blk of S. Buchanan St. when he was approached by three subjects, one armed with a handgun, who demanded money. Another subject struck the victim with a baseball bat, and all three subjects kicked him repeatedly as they robbed him of cash from his pocket. Frederick St., At approximately 2303hrs on 04/10/04, the victim, a 39YO male, was entering an apartment building when two subjects followed him into the building, threatened to cut his throat, and removed cash from his wallet. The subjects fled the scene in a vehicle, unknown description. ROBBERY 4/9/2004, 4100 blk S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 2310hrs on 04/09/04, the victim, a 16YO male, was walking in the 4100 blk of S. Four Mile Run Dr. Unknown subject(s) struck him from behind, knocking him to the ground, and stole his hat. The subjects fled the area in a vehicle. A few hours later, the same vehicle returned to the area and was stopped by an officer. The occupants of the vehicle were identified, and charges are pending.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/7/2004, 1100 blk S. Hayes St., Between 1900hrs on 04/06/04 and 0730hrs on 04/07/04, an unknown subject(s) gained entry to a business in the 1100 blk of S. Hayes St by breaking drywall. Construction tools were stolen. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY 4/7/2004, 300 blk N. Glebe Rd., At approximately 2045hrs on 04/07/04, the 17YO male victim was shopping in the 300 blk of N. Glebe Rd., when an unknown subject initiated a conversation with him and eventually threatened to assault him if he did not give him money. The victim complied and the subject left the scene in an unknown direction. ROBBERY 4/6/2004, 600 blk S. 25th St., At approximately 2230hrs on 04/06/04, the victim, a 20YO female, was walking in the 600 blk of S. 25th St when she was approached by two subjects who demanded her wallet. The victim complied and handed her purse to the suspects, who fled in a waiting vehicle. Suspects: #01, WM, Hispanic, 20YO, 5’6”, 150-175#, dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans; #02, WM, Hispanic, 20YO, 5’6”, 150-175#, dark hair, wearing a dark tank jersey over a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect vehicle: white four-door vehicle, no further description.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 4/4/2004, 4100 blk S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 1935hrs on 04/04/04, officers responded to the 4100 blk of S. Four Mile Run Dr for a report of a stabbing. Investigation revealed that a subject had been asked to leave the residence. He refused, struck one victim upon the head with a bottle, and stabbed another victim in the stomach and throat. The subject was located nearby and arrested. Arrested for Malicious Wounding: James Shaw, 46YO, of no fixed address.

ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/3/2004, 3000 blk S. Randolph St., At approximately 0045hrs on 04/03/04, the victim, a 28YO female, discovered that an unknown subject(s) attempted to enter her residence by opening an unlocked bedroom window. Entry was not gained and there is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 4/2/2004, 1500 blk Wilson Blvd., At approximately 0540hrs on 04/02/04, officers responded to the 1500 blk of Wilson Blvd for an alarm call. Officers found the glass front door of a business broken. Multiple cartons of cigarettes were stolen. The suspect is described as: BM, 5’08”, 150#, wearing a white baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan boots.

Malicious Wounding 4/2/2004, 2900 blk S. Glebe Rd., At approximately 1347hrs on 04/02/04, officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of S. Glebe Rd. in response to a reported shooting. Arriving officers determined that an altercation had occurred involving four or five men. At some point during the altercation, the victim was shot.

Detectives are looking for two suspects in connection with the incident. The first suspect is described as a black male, late teens or early 20s, approximately 6-6'1, slim build, slight mustache, possibly with two chipped front teeth and possibly with a cornrow-style hairdo. The second suspect is described as a black male, late teens or early 20s, approximately 5'6-5'7, stocky build, slight mustache, with long, thin braids.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 4/1/2004, 3200 blk Old Dominion Dr., Between 1000hrs on 03/27/04 and 1715hrs on 04/01/04, an unknown subject(s) gained entry to the residence by breaking a basement-level window. Nothing appears to have been stolen as of the time of the report.
