LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), , 6/30/2009, 1900 and 2000 blocks of N. Cameron Street. Between 2 am on June 26, and 10 am on June 27, an unknown subject broke into at least four vehicles in the same area and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY (SERIES), 6/30/2009, 2000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. Between 7:45 pm on June 26, and 7:45 pm on June 29, an unknown subject forcibly entered into at least two offices suites inside a building. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY-ARREST, 6/30/2009, 1300 block of S. Quincy Street. On June 29 at 9:30 pm, three juveniles broke into a school. They were apprehended by police and taken to juvenile detention.

POSSESSION WITH INTENT-ARREST, 6/30/2009, 2300 block of S. Columbus Street. On June 27 at 8 pm, three subjects were found in possession of marijuana in a park. One subject was a juvenile. Melinda Gallo, 18, of Alexandria, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released on a summons. David James Hile, 18, of Arlington, was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana within 1000 feet of a School. He was held without bond.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 6/30/2009, 1400 block of N. Nelson Street. On June 29 at 10:30 am, a vehicle approached a woman walking. The driver asked the woman for directions, and then exposed himself. The suspect is a white Hispanic male in his 30’s with long dark hair pulled back. The vehicle was an older model, gold Ford Van with Virginia plates, tinted windows, and a Tweedy Bird sticker on the back.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 6/30/2009, 5000 block of S. Chesterfield Street. On June 26 at 2 am, police responded to an apartment fight between a couple. It was found that the male assaulted the female, but both parties were found in possession of marijuana. Christopher Garioni, 26, of no fixed, was charged with Assault and Battery and Possession of Marijuana. He was held on a $4,000 bond. Christina Anderson, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released on a summons.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 6/30/2009, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. On June 27 at 4 am, a woman was sitting outside her apartment when an unknown male approached her from behind. He covered her mouth with his hand, and pulled at her purse. The victim yelled and the suspect fled without her purse. The suspect is described as an African American male between 20 and 30 years old, 6’ with a slim build. He was wearing jeans, a navy shirt, and had a white t-shirt draped over his head.

ROBBERY, 6/30/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On June 29 at 6:30 pm, a juvenile female was walking in the mall when an unknown male pushed her to the ground and stole her purse. She was injured. The suspect is described as an African American male between 18 and 22 years old, 5’10” and180 lbs. He was wearing a grey shirt with a design on the front, and tan shorts.

ABDUCTION/ASSAULT-ARREST, 6/26/2009, 2400 block of S. Glebe Road. On June 25 at midnight police responded to an apartment building when the front desk clerk saw an injured woman being forced into an apartment. Investigation revealed a married couple argued and the male assaulted the female, as well as physically detaining her in the apartment. Ganzorg Mogoitor, 34, of Arlington, was charged with Adduction and Domestic Assault and battery. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 6/24/2009, 2300 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On June 23 at 10 am, a parking attendant touched a woman without her permission. Solomon Kibret, 33, of Alexandria, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 6/24/2009, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. On June 23 at 8:20 am, a woman was walking when a man she did not know approached her and grabbed her around the waist. She broke free and walked to her place of employment. The suspect followed her. He was located by police. Lionel Ngongba, 19, of Lanham, MD, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held without bond.

WARRANT SERVICE/OBSTRUCTION-ARREST, 6/24/2009, I-395 North at South King Street. On June 23 at 11:45 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver was wanted out of New Jersey and fled the vehicle. He was located a short time later and taken into custody. James Bligen, 37, of Triangle, was charged with Possession of a Firearm (warrant from NJ), Obstruction of Justice, and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 6/24/2009, 100 block of S. Fenwick Street. On June 24 at 12:30 am, police responded to a call about a fight between a couple. The female refused to identify herself to police and assaulted an officer.Gilka Diana Siles, 24, of Leesburg, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement and Fail to Identify to Law Enforcement. She was held on a $4,500 bond.

FAIL TO RETURN BAILED VEHICLE-ARREST, 6/23/2009, 970 I-395 South. On June 22 at 4:15 pm, police located a man driving a stolen vehicle. The suspect rented the vehicle eights months ago, and never returned it. Frederick Gamble, 32, of Washington D.C., was charged with Fail to Return Bailed Vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/22/2009, 1800 block of N. Scott Street. and 1900 block of Fort Myer Drive Between 10 pm on June 19, and 10 am on June 20, an unknown subject broke into four vehicles in the same area. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/22/2009, 2900 block of S. Buchanan Street. On June 19 between 10:30 am and 11:45 am, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/22/2009, 1900 block of S. Eads Street. Between 3 pm on June 17, and 2 pm on June 18, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/22/2009, 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 10 pm on June 17, and 7:30 am on June 18, an unknown subject broke into at least seven vehicles in a parking garage. Two vehicles were moved from one location in the garage to another location in the same garage. All the vehicles were stripped of various vehicle parts. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY/ASSAULT, 6/22/2009, 2000 block of S. Langley Street. On June 21 at 1:15 am, a man entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and assaulted her.

EXPOSURE, 6/22/2009, 5900 block of N. 10th Street. On June 10 at 7 am, a juvenile female was walking to school when she saw a teenage male urinating in a yard. When the suspect saw her, he turned towards her without covering himself, and exposed himself to her. The female ran to the school and reported the incident. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, 5’6”, possibly of high school age. He was wearing tan shorts, a blue shirt, and black shoes.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 6/22/2009, 2700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On June 21 at 2:50 am, a couple got into an argument and the male broke the female’s cell phone and assaulted her. Nicholas Champeau, 44, of Potomac, MD, was charged with Assault and Battery and Destruction of Property. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 6/22/2009, 5200 block of Lee Highway. On June 21 at 2:30 am, a man and woman were involved in an argument with a group of men they did not know. Two of the men assaulted the couple before leaving the area in a blue Toyota. The suspects were both white Hispanic males.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 6/22/2009, 900 block of S. Orme Street. On June 21 at 1:30 am, a woman was walking down the street when an unknown male approached her from behind and grabbed her arms. The victim pulled away and ran to a hotel. The suspect is an African American male, 6’, wearing dark clothing.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 6/22/2009, 2300 block of N. 11th Street. On June 20, a woman reported that her husband had assaulted her recently, and prevented her from calling the police during the incident. Warrants were issued. When police responded to arrest the suspect, he resisted arrest and fought officers. Gregory Gartenmayer, 30, of Arlington, was charged with Domestic Assault and battery, Resisting Arrest, and Preventing an Emergency Phone Call. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT, 6/22/2009, 900 block of N. Taylor Street. On June 20 at 3:45 am, a woman was walking when an unknown male approached her. He forced her into some bushes and attempted to remove her clothing. She fought him and yelled “Fire”. Witnesses ran to the area and the suspect fled. He is described as a white Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a button down shirt, dress pants, dress shoes, and a dress belt.

ROBBERY, 6/22/2009, 2600 block of S. 24th Road. On June 19 at 4 am, an intoxicated man alleged that he was robbed of his cell phone and wallet. He stated that a group of African American males assaulted him and took his property. The victim’s account of the robbery changed several times.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 6/22/2009, 2000 block of S. Kenmore Street. On June 21 at 12:45 pm, a man was dropped off at the hospital with knife wounds. The incident is still under investigation due to the lack of cooperation from the victim.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 6/22/2009, 2900 block of S. 17th Street. On June 20 at 6 am, two men who were drinking all evening long got into an argument. One man produced a large knife and cut the victim on the hand. Israel Cabrera, 29, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 6/17/2009, 5000 block of S. 12th Street. On June 14 between 7 pm and 8 pm, an unknown subject entered an unlocked house and stole tools. There is no suspect description.

PREVENTING AN EMERGENCY CALL-ARREST, 6/17/2009, 1300 block of S. Thomas Street. On June 15 at 10:30 am, a couple argued. The female party attempted to call police because she was afraid, and the male forcibly took the phone from her. William Hubbard, 45, of Arlington, was charged with Preventing an Emergency Phone Call, and released on a summons.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 6/17/2009, 1400 block of N. Courthouse Road. On June 16 at 10:30 pm, a woman was leaving the police station when she assaulted a police detective. Yasmeen Campana, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement. She was held on a $1,500 bond.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 6/15/2009, 4100 block of N. 15th Street. On June 13 between midnight and noon, an unknown subject vandalized at least seven vehicles by breaking passenger side mirrors. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 6/15/2009, 3500 block of S. Ball Street. Between 9:30 am on June 13, and 3:30 pm on June 14, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 6/15/2009, 4300 block of N. Lorcom Lane. Between noon on June 6, and 2 pm on June 12, unknown subjects entered a vacant house and hosted a party, leaving behind debris.

ASSAULT/INDECENT EXPOSURE, 6/15/2009, 900 block of N. Irving Street. On June 13 at 3:30 am a woman was walking when an unknown man grabbed her behind. When the victim turned around, the suspect then exposed his buttocks to her before fleeing the area. The suspect is described as an African American male in his early 20’s, 5’10” and 160lbs. He was wearing a light colored t-shirt and dark pants.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 6/15/2009, 500 block of S. 23rd Street. On June 12 at 2 am, a group of men got into a physical altercation. One man was transported to the hospital, and another apprehended by police. Patrick Schilauch, 27, of Long beach, CA, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held on a $6,000 bond.

INDECENT EXPOSURE-ARREST, 6/12/2009, 4400 block of S. 1st Road. On June 11 at 1:30 pm, a woman was on the W&OD Trail and saw a man exposing himself to people passing by. Police located the suspect. Donald McGown, 58, of no fixed address, was charged with Indecent Exposure. He was held on a $2,000 bond.

BURGLARY/ASSAULT-ARREST, 6/12/2009, 700 block of S. Granada Street. On June 11 at 12:30 pm, a man was seen sneaking into a house and a witness called police. When police arrived, the suspect assaulted the homeowner and threatened the family. Police forced entry and took the suspect into custody. Perry Young, 21, of Upper Marlboro, MD, was charged with Burglary, Assault and Battery, and Abduction. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 6/12/2009, 1200 block of S. Joyce Street. On June 11 at 2:10 pm, a woman was walking and put her cell phone in her purse when an unknown male ran by and grabbed it from her purse. The suspect was an African American male in his teens, 5’5” and 120lbs. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt and a sweatshirt tied around his waist.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/11/2009, 2600 block of S. Vance Street. Between 7 pm on June 9, and 6:30 am on June 10, an unknown subject broke into at least two and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 6/11/2009, 600 block of S. Clark Street. Between 11 pm on June 9, and 6 pm on June 10, an unknown subject forcibly entered a business. There is no suspect description.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 6/11/2009, 2000 block of Columbia Pike. On June 10 at 8 am, a married couple argued. The female struck her husband in the head with an object and injured him. Shannon Carter, 33, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding and held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/10/2009, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On June 9 between 7 pm and 8:30 pm, and unknown subject broke into at least two cars in a parking garage and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

LATE BURGLARY, 6/10/2009, 1200 block of N. Taft Street. On June 9 at 8 pm a woman noticed that an unknown person stole her jewelry sometime within the last six months. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 6/10/2009, 6200 block of N. 22nd Street. Between 8:45 am and 6:45 pm on June 9, an unknown subject forcibly entered a house through a window and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 6/10/2009, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. On June 9 between 6:30 am and 10:30 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole money. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 6/8/2009, 3500 block of S. Ball Street. Between 11 pm on June 4, and 6 am on June 5, an unknown subject broke into at least five vehicles in a parking garage. Various vehicle parts were stolen. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 6/8/2009, 2600 block of S. Oxford Street. Between 6 pm on June 3, and 8 am on June 4, an unknown subject broke into a vendor’s cart. There is no suspect description.

EXPOSURE, 6/8/2009, 800 block of N. Lexington Street. On June 6 at 6 pm, a woman was walking along the bike trail and saw an unknown male standing naked in the bushes. The suspect had a medium complexion and was 5’9” and 190 lbs. He had some type of light blue/silver material covering his face.

EXPOSURE, 6/8/2009, 3800 block of Wilson Boulevard. On June 4 at 9 pm, two women were walking down the street when they saw a man standing near a bush exposing himself. A suspect has been named.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 6/8/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On June 6 at 6 pm, a woman was sitting in the food court when a male teenager grabbed her cell phone from her hand. The juvenile suspect was apprehended and detained.

ROBBERY/CARJACKING, 6/4/2009, 6700 block of N. 18th Street. On May 3 at 2:20 pm, a woman was entering her car when an unknown man approached her. He assaulted her and forced his way into the vehicle. The suspect drove off with the victim in the car, but she was able to jump from the car to run for help. The suspect fled the area in the vehicle. The suspect is described as an African American male approximately 35 years old, 5’6” and 160 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black skullcap.

BURGLARY, 6/3/2009, 4500 block of S. 31st Street. Between 3 pm on May 28, and 9:30 pm on May 1, an unknown subject stole items form a locked storage unit. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 6/3/2009, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. On May 1 between 7 am and 4 pm, an unknown subject stole electronics from an apartment. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY (SERIES)-ARREST, 6/3/2009, 3200 block of Columbia Pike. On May 2 at 8 am a man was seen tampering with vehicles at a car lot. Police located the suspect. Steven Carrington, 50, of Arlington, was charged with a felony county of Larceny, and Possession of Burglarious Tools. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

SEXUAL ASSAULT, 6/3/2009, 600 block of S. 12th Street. On May 2 at 6 am, a woman was walking through a parking lot when an unknown man lifted the back of her dress and grabbed her buttocks. The victim hit the suspect with her purse, and he fled. The suspect is a white Hispanic male in his mid-thirties, 5’6”, and 180 lbs. He was wearing a light colored polo shirt, loose black pants, and white shoes.

ROBBERY, 6/3/2009, 3600 block of S. 5th Street. On May 2 at 10 pm, a woman was exiting the dumpster area behind an apartment building when an unknown male confronted her. He displayed a silver handgun and demanded her bag. He then fled in a white Acura sedan. The suspect is described as an African American male between 40 to 50 years of age, with a thin build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and had black material wrapped around his cornrows.

BURGLARY, 6/1/2009, 1000 block of Arlington Boulevard. On May 20, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole computer equipment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 6/1/2009, 4400 block of S. 31st Street. Between 6:30 am on May 23, and 6:30 am on May 29, an unknown subject broke into a storage compartment in an apartment building. There is no suspect description.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT-ARREST, 6/1/2009, 3200 block of Washington Boulevard. On May 31 at 1 am, police responded for a report of a fight. One suspect was disorderly during the police investigation of the fight. Adam Ortberg, 27, of Washington D.C., was charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was released on a summons.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 6/1/2009, 1800 block of N. Moore Street. On May 29 at 6 pm, a woman was exiting the metro when an unknown male tried to grab her phone from her hand. The victim would not let go, and the suspect ran off. The suspect is described as a teenage African American male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO-ARREST, 5/29/2009, 1200 block of N. Herndon Street. On May 28 at 4:30 am, a subject stole the vehicle of a person delivering news papers. Officers located the suspect driving the stolen car. Aaron Crafton, 30, of Ft. Benning, GA, was charged with Grand Larceny Auto. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

ENTICEMENT, 5/28/2009, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On May 23 around noon, an unknown male approached a 5 year old boy and asked him to leave the area with him, offering him ice cream. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 20’s, wearing a yellow shirt and shorts.

BURGLARY, 5/28/2009, 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. On May 27 at 1 am, two employees observed a man break into a business. Police responded and located the suspect. Richard Dean Halterman, Jr., 20, of Arlington, was charged with Burglary and Possession of Burglarious Tools. He was held on a $3,000 bond.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 5/28/2009, 4200 block of S. 16th Street. On May 22 at 4 am, a man was sleeping in his car when two suspects woke him up. They displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim struggled with the suspects, and the gun (found to be an air pistol) broke. The suspects then fled. The suspects were both teenage African American males.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 5/28/2009, 3600 block of Columbia Pike. On May 27 at 8:45 pm, two unknown men entered a jewelry store. One suspect displayed a handgun and the other demanded jewelry. The employees were able to leave the store, and the suspects fled. Both suspects are described as white Hispanic men. The first suspect was approximately 27 years old, 5’10”, 200 lbs, wearing green jacket, green baseball cap, and jeans. The second suspect was about 17 years old, 5’, 150 lbs, and was wearing a grey tank top, jeans, and carried a gold duffel bag.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 5/27/2009, 3800 block of N. 7th Street. On May 25 at 1 pm, a man knocked on a window to attract the attention of people walking by and exposed himself to them. Brady Humphry, 20, of Arlington, was charged with Indecent Exposure and released on a summons.

ROBBERY, 5/27/2009, 3800 block of N. 5th Street. On May 26 at 1:30 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown male approached her from behind. The suspect pushed her to the ground and stole her purse. The suspect is described as an African American male between 30 to 40 years of age, 5’ and 150 lbs. He was dressed in all black clothing.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 5/26/2009, 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 7 pm on May 21, and 8 am on May 22, an unknown subject attempted to enter a house by damaging a door. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 5/26/2009, 4500 block of S. 31st Street. Between 10 am on May 24, and 10 pm on May 25, an unknown subject broke into several storage compartments in an apartment building. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY WITH INTENT-ARREST, 5/26/2009, 1400 block of S. Quincy Street. On May 25 at 2 am, a man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. He stated that he was going to rape her, and she was able to break free. Antonio Hernandez Lucio, 24, of Arlington, was charged with Burglary with the Intent to Rape. He was held without bond.

DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM-ARREST, 5/26/2009, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. On May 23 at 12 pm, a man was cleaning a handgun when he fired a round into the apartment beneath, striking that resident in the arm. The resident was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The suspect was located. Natron Gladden 29, of St. Matthews, SC, was charged with Discharging a Firearm in an Occupied Dwelling. He was held on a $3,000 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 5/26/2009, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On May 24 at 5:40 pm, a woman was walking into a store when a man grabbed her pelvic area. Police located the suspect nearby. Jose Marin Pedroza, 35, of Arlington was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $4,000 bond.

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 5/26/2009, 800 block of N. Florida Street. On May 23 at 2:30 am, two male roommates argued. The suspect threatened the victim with a knife after breaking down a bedroom door to reach the victim. Daniel Smith, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding and Unlawful Entry. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 5/26/2009, 5100 block of S. 10th Street. On May 22 at 5:30 am, two male roommates argued. The suspect threatened the victim with a knife while assaulting him. Jose Camacho Caero, 59, of Arlington was charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 5/26/2009, 1200 block of S. Eads Street. On May 23 at 5:30 am, a cab driver was robbed by an unknown male passenger who implied that he was armed. The suspect drove away in the taxi cab, and the car was recovered several blocks away. The suspect is a bald African American male, 40 years old, 6’ and 250 lbs. He was wearing a black suit.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 5/21/2009, 1000 blocks of N. Stafford and N. Randolph Streets. Between 7 pm on May 19, and 11:30 am on May 20, an unknown suspect broke into at least two vehicles and stole GPS units. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 5/21/2009, 3400 block of N. George Mason Drive. Between 6 pm on May 19, and 8:30 am on May 20, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 5/21/2009, 4500 block of S. 31st Street. Between 9:30 am on May 17, and 10 am on May 20, an unknown subject stole items from a storage unit inside an apartment complex. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 5/21/2009, 4200 block of S. 28th Street. Between 8:30 am on May 12, and 10:30 am on May 20, and unknown subject entered a storage facility and stole tools. There are no known suspects.

FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT-ARREST, 5/20/2009, 3800 block of N. 7th Street. On May 19 at 4:30 pm, a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend abducted and assaulted her. During the investigation officers found the event was fabricated. Leyla S. Kampman, 19, of Arlington, was charged with Filing a False Police Report. She was held on a $1,000 bond.

ATTEMPTED GRAND LARCENY AUTO (SERIES), , 5/20/2009, 4200 block of S. 31st Street. Between 7 pm on May 18 and 8:30 am on May 19, an unknown subject broke into at least three vehicles and attempted to steal them. One vehicle was moved to another location in the parking garage. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY-ARREST, 5/19/2009, 1500 block of S. 12th Street. On May 16 at 9:45 pm, a man broke a window to enter his father’s house without permission. Alfred Leonard Taylor, 61, of no fixed, was charged with Burglary. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 5/19/2009, 1100 block of S. Thomas Street. On May 16 at 7:30 am, an unknown male attempted to enter a house. The owner ran to the front door and locked it. The suspect then fled in a late model 4 door dark blue sedan. The suspect was a white Hispanic male in his mid 20’s, 5’4” and 150 lbs. He was wearing a blue jacket and khaki pants.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 5/19/2009, 5200 block of Columbia Pike. On May 16 at 1 am, a group of men assaulted another man in the parking lot of a bar. Police apprehended one suspect. Gilbert Osorio-Sanchez, 24, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $1,500 bond.

ROBBERY, 5/19/2009, 3500 block of Lee Highway. On May 18 at 2:50 pm, a man asked a store cashier for change. When the cashier opened the register, a second man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled after receiving cash. Both suspects are African American men. The first suspect was between 40 and 50 years old, 6’-6’3”, 150 lbs, wearing a white and black shirt, dark pants, and a black turban or scarf on his head. The second suspect was between 20 and 30 years old, 5’7” to 6’, 210 lbs, wearing a green shirt, dark pants and silver sunglasses.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 5/19/2009, 5200 block of Lee Highway. On May 16 at 4:45 am, a man entered a convenience store and displayed a handgun. He demanded money and then assaulted the cashier. A witness saw the suspect drive away in a vehicle and called police. Police located the vehicle. Aaron Alexander Green, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Robbery and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony. He was held without bond. Trevon Hosten, 27, of Alexandria, was charged with Robbery and also held without bond.

ROBBERY, 5/19/2009, 2000 block of N. Daniel Street. On May 16 at 2:45 am, a man was walking through a parking garage when an unknown male approached him from behind. The suspect displayed a black handgun and robbed the victim. The suspect was African American male, 5’8”, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 5/13/2009, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street On May 12 at 11 am, two neighbors argued and the male hit the female. Donald McGown, 58, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and released on a summons.

BURGLARY-ARREST, 5/13/2009, 1200 block of N. Stafford Street On May 12 at 10:30 am, a man was witnessed entering a residence that he did not live in. Police apprehended the suspect and discovered that he had broken into another area house as well. William Burkhart, 54, of no fixed address, was charged with Burglary and two counts of Grand Larceny. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 5/12/2009, 4400 block of Lee Highway. Between 2:30 pm on May 10, and 8 am on May 11, an unknown subject forcibly entered the management office of an apartment complex and stole money. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 5/12/2009, 5600 block of Lee Highway. On May 11 between 1 am and 7 am, an unknown subject forcibly entered a gas station and stole money. There are no known subjects.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES)-ARREST, 5/11/2009, 900 block of N. Kenmore Street. On May 9 at midnight, a person witnessed a man damaging windshield wipers on several vehicles. Police apprehended the suspect. Kevin Chan was charged with Drunk in Public and held until sober.

BURGLARY, 5/11/2009, 2300 block of N. Greenbrier Street. Between 5:30 pm on April 28, and 10:30 am on May 8, an unknown subject forcibly entered a residence, but no items appear to be missing. There is no suspect description.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 5/11/2009, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. On May 10 at 9:45 pm, a man entered a store assaulted an employee. He attempted to get the employee to leave the store to fight with him in the parking lot and left. The employee called the police. The suspect is a bald African American male in his 40’s, 6’ with a heavy build. He was wearing dark jeans and a checkered patterned long sleeve shirt.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 5/11/2009, 2300 block of S. Eads Street. On May 9 at 3 am, a group of people entered a restaurant and acted in a disorderly fashion. One suspect took a chair and hit the victim on the back of his head. The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male in his mid-20’s, 5’3”. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, and had a line beard and goatee.

ROBBERY, 5/11/2009, 1100 block of N. Stuart Street. On May 10 at 10:30 pm, a man entered a store and brandished a weapon at the cashier while demanding money. He forced another employee to give him beer, and fled with money and the alcohol. The suspect was an African American male in his 30’s, 5’10 and 155 lbs. He was wearing black loose clothing, a ski mask, and had medium length dreadlocks.

ROBBERY, 5/11/2009, 900 block of S. 23rd Street. On May 10 at 1 am, a woman was walking when she was approached from behind. The suspect wrestled with the victim for her purse. The suspect hit the victim in the face and stole her purse before fleeing. The suspect is an African American male in his early 20’s, 5’9” and 160 lbs. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, with the hood over his head, and jeans.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 5/11/2009, 600 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. On May 9 at 11:16 am, a juvenile male stabbed a woman in the back at an apartment complex. The victim called police. The suspect was apprehended and detained. He was charged with Malicious Wounding and Use of a Knife in Commission of a Felony.

BURGLARY, 5/8/2009, 3700 block of S. Kemper Road On May 7 between 10 am and 2:30 pm, an unknown subject broke into a house and stole several laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

LATE ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 5/8/2009, 4300 block of N. 4th Street On May 1 at 8:30 pm, a man was leaving a laundry room and two unknown men attempted to rob him. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the area. Both suspects were African American males in their 20’s wearing dark clothing. The victim did not report the incident for 6 days.

ROBBERY, 5/8/2009, 1900 block of N. Culpeper Street On May 7 at 10 am, a man was walking through a park with headphones on. An unknown man stepped in front of him displaying a handgun, and another male approached him from behind. They demanded money and removed his wallet. The two suspects then ran from the area. The first male was approximately 30 years old, 5’8” and 160 lbs. He was wearing a North Face jacket, a blue shirt and jeans. The second suspect was not seen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 5/7/2009, 300 block of S. Harrison Street. On May 6 at 4 pm, a woman was walking on the bike trail at mile marker 10 when an unknown male yelled for her attention. She looked to the tree line and saw a naked white male with a black mask over his face. The victim ran from the area.

GRAND LARCENY-ARREST, 5/7/2009, 2000 block of Columbia Pike. On May 5 at 12:30 pm, three juveniles were driving a stolen car and struck another vehicle in a parking lot. The juveniles then left the car and fled the scene. Police located all suspects and they were taken to juvenile detention. One suspect was charged with Grand Larceny, Hit and Run, and Possession of Burglarious Tools. The other two suspects were charged with Grand Larceny.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY-ARREST, 5/7/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On May 6 at 9:30 pm, an employee was counting the evening’s earnings when a man tried to grab the money from his hand. There was also a suspect watching out at the front of the store. When the victim would not let go, both suspects fled. Police apprehended the suspects near the metro. Corey Brown, 19, of no fixed, was charged with Attempted Robbery. He was held without a bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 5/6/2009, 800 block of S. Army Navy Drive. On May 5 between 6 pm and 6:30 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles and stole various electronic items. There is no suspect description.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES)-ARREST, 5/6/2009, 2400 block of S. Fern Street. On May 6 at 1:30 am three men removed a street sign from the sidewalk and vandalized several cars with the sign. Police located the suspects in the area. Chowdhury Saqlain, 19, of Alexandria; Mirza Dedajic, 22, of Arlington; and Naman Javaid, 24, of Alexandria, were charged with felony Destruction of Property. Mr. Saqlain and Mr. Dadajic were released on their own recognizance. Mr. Javaid was held on a $2,000 bond.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 5/6/2009, 4000 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. Between 1 pm on May 1, and 9:30 am on May 5, an unknown subject broke into a building. The suspect then had access to four other building, and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

LATE ROBBERY, 5/6/2009, 4300 block of N. Henderson Road. On May 1 at 11 pm, a man was standing in front of a building talking on a cell phone. Two unknown men approached him, assaulted him and took his cell phone. The suspects were both African American men in their early 20’s. They were wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY, 5/6/2009, 2700 block of S. 9th Street. On May 5 at 10 pm, a woman was exiting her car when an unknown male approached her. He demanded her phone and purse while displaying a silver handgun. The suspect fled and the victim called police. The suspect was an African American male in his late teens.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 5/6/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On May 5 at 3 pm a man attempted to leave a store while concealing merchandise. When security tried to stop him, he implied he was armed with a handgun. Police apprehended him outside the mall. Steven Lawson, 21, of Washington D.C., was charged with Robbery and held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 5/5/2009, 3000 block of S. 22nd Street. On May 4 at 11:30 pm, a man assaulted a woman when she would not allow him in her apartment to look for an acquaintance. He was located by police shortly after. Stanley Richardson, 40, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 5/5/2009, 2700 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive. Between 10:30 pm on April 29, and 2 pm on April 30, an unknown subject attempted to enter a storage area by damaging a door. Entry was not gained and there are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 5/5/2009, 2300 block of N. 11th Street. On May 4 at 3 am, a woman awoke to find an unknown male standing in her apartment. He walked out of the apartment, and she called police. The suspect was a short white Hispanic male with a mustache. He was wearing a white baseball cap backwards, pants and a black shirt. There was no sign of forced entry.

ROBBERY, 5/5/2009, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On May 4 at 4:45 pm, a man was walking when two unknown men approached him from behind. The suspect pushed the victim into a wall and demanded money. They then ran from the area. Both suspects were tall, muscular, African American males in their late teens. They were wearing sweatshirts with scarves covering their faces.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES)-ARREST, 5/4/2009, 1900 block of S. Randolph Street. On May 2 at 12:30 am, a person witnessed three juveniles break into a vehicle. Officers apprehended the suspects after they broke into several more vehicles. Two juvenile males and one juvenile female were taken into custody. Petitions for numerous chares are pending.

BURGLARY, 5/4/2009, 1100 block of N. Kentucky Street. On May 3 between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, an unknown subject entered a house and stole a laptop computer. There are no known suspects.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 5/4/2009, 2400 block of S. Shirlington Road. On May 3 at 10:30 pm, two men were arguing when one of them produced a knife. A third man was injured trying to break up the fight. Peter Franklin, 53, of Arlington was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 5/4/2009, 1400 block of Columbia Pike. On May 2, police responded to the hospital for a subject who stated he was assaulted at 12:30 am that morning. The victim stated that a subject hit him in the head with an unknown object when he was running from a dog on the street.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 5/4/2009, 1600 block of N. Monroe Street. On May 2 at 9:40 am, a man entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment though a window. He assaulted a person in the apartment then fled. He was later located by police. James Blankenship, 26, of Falls Church, was charged with Malicious Wounding and Burglary. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 4/29/2009, 4100 block of N. Henderson Road. On April 28 at 4:50 pm, a man reported that a man walked up to him, assaulted him, and then stole the bicycle the victim had been riding. The suspect rode off on the bike. Officers found the suspect fighting with a different subject (see report below) in the general area. Gerald McFarland, 27, of Arlington, was charged with Robbery and held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 4/29/2009, 700 N. George Mason Dr. On April 28 at 5:20 pm, a man was walking when a subject ran toward him and assaulted him. The victim ran away and the suspect followed him. Officers checking the area for the robbery suspect (see above report) stopped the assault in progress. Gerald McFarland, 27, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and held without bond.

ASSAULT BY MOB-ARREST, 4/28/2009, 1600 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. On April 27 at 8 pm, three men assaulted a man sitting on a restaurant patio. The suspects were located by police. Genaro Alanie, 37, of Adelanto, CA; Cristo Armenta, 26, of Los Banos, CA; and Michael Alva, 28, of El Paso, TX, were all charged with Assault by Mob and Drunk in Public. They were held without bond.

ABDUCTION-ARREST, 4/21/2009, 400 block of N. Thomas Street. On April 18 at noon, a man grabbed a woman who was walking by. He attempted to pull her to his apartment saying that he would pay her for sex. A passerby intervened and called police. Police apprehended the suspect. Mario Saquiche Vasquez, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Abduction with the Intent to Defile. He was held without bond.

One man injured the driver with a knife, and then both suspects fled. The victim received non life threatening injuries, but was taken to the hospital. The first suspect was a white male, 5’11”, 160 lbs with dark blond hair. He was wearing a brown polo shirt, jean, and a white jacket. The second suspect was a white male, 6’2”, 200 lbs with black hair. He was wearing a black polo shirt and jeans.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 4/15/2009, 1300 block of N. 17th Street. Between 4 pm on April 10, and 5 am on April 13, an unknown subject broke into a restaurant and attempted to open an ATM. The suspect is an African American male in his 50’s wearing a light colored suit and driver’s hat.

BURGLARY, 4/15/2009, 5100 block of S. 11th Street. On April 14 between midnight and 7:30 am, an unknown subject entered a house and stole a laptop computer. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES),, 4/13/2009, 4000 block of N. 9th Street. Between 5:30 pm on April 9, and 7 am on April 10, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 4/13/2009, 2800 block of Wilson Boulevard. On April 11 between 2:30 am and 8 am, an unknown subject stole cash from a business. There is no suspect description

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 4/13/2009, 2200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 7:30 pm on April 9, and 8 am on April 10, an unknown subject entered a business and stole two laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 4/13/2009, 600 block of N. Manchester Street. Between 10 pm on April 9, and 12 pm on April 10, an unknown subject entered business and stole several items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 4/13/2009, 1000 block of N. Monroe Street. Between 8 am on April 7, and 2:30 pm on April 12, an unknown subject entered a house and used the shower. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 4/13/2009, 5000 block of N. 19th Street. On April 7 between 9 am and 2 pm, and unknown subject broke into a house and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST, 4/13/2009, 500 block of S. 14th Street. On April 9 at 9:30 am, a woman was found trespassing in an apartment building. Regina Walker, 43, of no fixed address, was charged with Unlawful Entry. She was held on a $1,000 bond.

ATTEMPT TO DISARM POLICE-ARREST, 4/13/2009, 3800 block of Wilson Boulevard. On April 10 at 6 pm, an intoxicated and disorderly male attempted to disarm a police officer of his weapon. Anthony house, 42, of no fixed address was charged with Attempting to Disarm a Law Enforcement Officer, and Drunk in public. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 4/13/2009, 4400 block of Lee Highway. On April 10 at 11 pm, a group of men were approached by three men they did not know. The three suspects assaulted several victims and stole wallets and cell phones. Police apprehended a suspect a short distance away. Valentino Bathen, 18, of Manassas, was charged with Robbery and Assault and Battery. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 4/8/2009, Douglas Park Neighborhood Between 8 pm on April 6, and 6 am on April 7, four vehicles in the same neighborhood were broken into. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 4/8/2009, 1600 block of S. 28th Street On April 6 between 7 am and 5 pm, an unknown subject attempted to enter an apartment by force. Entry was not gained and there is no suspect description.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 4/7/2009, 700 block of S. Walter Reed Drive Between 10 pm on April 5, and 5:30 am on April 6, two vehicles were damaged by an unknown subject. There are no known suspects.

ROBBERY, 4/7/2009, 4500 block of S. 31st Street On April 7 at 3:30 am, four unknown men approached a man walking home. They assaulted him and stole money from his wallet. The four suspects were all teenage white Hispanic males wearing white t-shirts and white shoes.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 4/6/2009, 2800 block of S. Glebe Road. On April 4, between 4:30 pm and 11 pm, four vehicles were damaged when an unknown subject broke the windshield with an unknown object. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 4/6/2009, 2300 block of Crystal Drive. On April 3, between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm, two vehicles were broken into and various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 4/6/2009, 3000 block S. Randolph Street. Between 8 pm on April 1, and 5:30 am on April 2, two vehicles were broken into and electronic items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES),, 4/6/2009, 800 block S. Army Navy Drive. On April 2, between noon and 3 pm, four vehicles were broken into, and various items were stolen. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 4/6/2009, 800 block N. Harrison Street. On April 5, between 5 pm and 7 pm, an unknown subject entered a house through an unsecured window. It is unknown if anything was stolen. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 4/6/2009, 800 block of N. Florida Street. On April 2, between 8 am and 7:30 pm, an unknown subject entered a house and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 4/6/2009, 300 block of N. Garfield Street. On April 2, between 11 am and 2:30 pm, a known subject entered a residence and stole one item of little value. The subject is known to the victim.

ROBBERY, 4/6/2009, 5200 block of S. 8th Road. On April 3 at 9:30 pm, three unknown subjects approached a man walking home. They assaulted him and stole his cell phone. The three suspects were all white Hispanic males in their mid to late twenties.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 4/6/2009, Unit block N. Glebe Road. On April 4 at 2 am, two men were approached by three unknown subjects. The suspects demanded money. When they did not receive it, one suspect cut a victim with a broken bottle. The suspects then fled. The suspects were white Hispanic males.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 4/6/2009, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. On April 4 at 2 am, two groups of men had a verbal argument in a restaurant. When two of the men left the restaurant, two suspects approached them, and one cut the victim’s face with an unknown item. The suspects and the acquaintance of the victim fled. The suspects were both male. One suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and green pants, and the second suspect was wearing a white shirt.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 4/6/2009, 4300 block of N. 4th Street. On April 5 at 1 am, three men in an apartment were involved in a fight. One subject cut another on the arm with a kitchen knife, wounding him severely. Rigoberto Morales, 47, of Arlington, was charged with two counts of Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 4/2/2009, 800 block of S. Army Navy Drive. On April 1, between noon and 8 pm, unknown subject at least three vehicles in a parking garage and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 4/2/2009, 3100 block of S. 12th Street. On April 1 at 10:45 am, an unknown man attempted to enter a house through an entrance in the backyard. The homeowner confronted the suspect and he fled in a 2001 white Ford Taurus with Maryland plates. The suspect was an African American male wearing all black clothing an white shoes.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 4/2/2009, 2000 block of Wilson Boulevard. On April 1 at 2 am, while investigating a building alarm, an officer was assaulted by an intoxicated subject. Daniel Wadeson, 33, of Alexandria, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 4/2/2009, 2300 block of N. 11th Street. On March 31 at 4:15 pm, two known subjects forced their way into an apartment and assaulted a female. Warrents are outstanding for the two suspects.
