ROBBERY 9/29/2003, 1100 block S. Wakefield St., On 09/29/03 between 2100hrs and 2110hrs, the victim, a 31 year old man, was walking home when he was grabbed from behind my an unknown man. A second subject walked up to them, threatened that he had a knife and told the victim to hand over his wallet. Both subjects are described as Hispanic males, both wearing white T-shirts and blue jeans. The first subject is described as 550 and the second subject was 5160.
BURGLARY 9/29/2003, 800 block S. Oak St., On 09/29/03 between 0915hrs and 1530hrs, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole jewelry, DVD?, money and a digital camera.
INDECENT EXPOSURE 9/29/2003, 1600 block S. Eads St., On 09/29/03 between 1030hrs and 1115hrs, a male subject stood on the balcony of his apartment completely naked. The subject was later identified and arrested: Timothy Vanoy, white male, 43 years old, of Arlington, VA.
BURGLARY 9/29/2003, 5400 block S. Columbia Pike, On 09/29/03 between 0315hrs and 0443hrs, an unknown subject broke into the business and stole the cash register with an unknown amount of money inside.
BURGLARY 9/28/2003, 400 block S. 12th St., Sometime between 2100hrs and 2235hrs on 09/28/03, unknown subjects broke into the business. An unknown amount of money and cigarettes were taken.
BURGLARY 9/28/2003, 1300 block S. Eads St., Between 1700hrs and 2000hrs on 09/28/03, an unknown person entered the residence and stole jewelry.
BURGLARY 9/27/2003, 2200 block S. Crystal Dr., On 09/27/03 between 0100hrs and 0135hrs, a subject was observed breaking into a business by officers working surveillance in the area. The subject was arrested without incident and issued a warrant for Burglary. The subject arrested was Darryl Ponce Kinnard, black male, age 48, of Southeast Washington, DC.
BURGLARY 9/27/2003, 300 block S. 23rd St., Between 04/18/03 and 09/27/03, unknown subjects entered the residence. Multiple pieces of jewelry and an unknown amount of money were stolen.
ROBBERY 9/26/2003, 1200 block S. Eads St., Between 2330hrs on 09/25/03 and 0000hrs on 09/26/03, the victim, a 32 year old male, was walking home when he was approached by a male subject with a gun who robbed him of his wallet. Surveillance officers in the area observed suspicious activity from the subject and three other persons with him. All subjects were stopped and arrested after the victim positively identified them. Two subjects were arrested for Robbery and two were arrested for conspiracy to commit robbery. Arrested subjects were: Subject#1 Victor Champion, black male, age 20, of Capitol heights, MD; Subject #2, Thomas Jones, black male, age 19, of Capitol Heights, MD; Subject #3, Wilton Jones, black male, age 19, of Suitland, MD; Subject #4 Lateef Sharperson, black male, age 20, of Capitol Heights, MD.
BURGLARY 9/28/2003, 1900 block N. Fort Myer Dr., Between 2245hrs on 09/27/03 and 1030hrs on 09/28/03, an unknown subject broke into the business and stole several computers.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 9/28/2003, 4500 block S. 31st St., On 09/28/03 at 0048hrs, the victim, a 49-year-old male, was involved in an argument with a male acquaintance when he was stabbed in his arm. The subject is described as a white male, age 41, 5’4”/120, wearing blue jeans and no shirt. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY 9/27/2003, 1700 block S. Quincy St., Between 1530hrs on 09/19/03 and 1530hrs on 09/20/03, an unknown subject broke into the residence and stole tools and a violin.
BURGLARY 9/26/2003, 1600 block S. Crystal Dr., Between 1500hrs on 09/25/03 and 0715hrs on 09/26/03, an unknown subject broke into the business and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
BURGLARY 9/26/2003, 1700 block N. Rhodes St., Between 0815hrs and 1800hrs on 09/26/03, an unknown subject broke into the residence and stole a laptop computer.
BURGLARY 9/25/2003, 4100 block N. Four Mile Run Dr., Between 2200hrs on 09/24/03 and 0900hrs on 09/25/03, an unknown subject broke into the business and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
SHOOTING AT AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE 9/24/2003, 2700 block S. Nelson St., On 09/24/03 at 1348hrs, the victims, two males, ages 20 and 70, were shot at via a paint ball gun while one victim was sitting inside their vehicle after a verbal altercation. The subject has been identified as Geova Lozano, Hispanic male, age 23, 5’7”/185, of Woodbridge, VA. He drives a ’98 Lincoln Navigator, silver with Virginia tags, JBA8321. Warrants are on file for the subject for shooting at an occupied vehicle, destruction of property, brandishing a firearm and reckless driving. Prince William County Police was notified about the subject residing in their jurisdiction. The victims were not injured.
BURGLARY 9/24/2003, 1700 block N. Troy St., On 09/24/03 between 0900hrs and 2100hrs, an unlocked residence was entered by an unknown subject(s). A bicycle, digital camera, laptop computer and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen.
ATTEMPT BREAKING AND ENTERING 9/24/2003, 400 block N. George Mason Dr., On 09/24/03 between 1050hrs and 1315hrs, an unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry to the residence by kicking the front door. The residence was not able to be entered.
BURGLARY 9/23/2003, 2700 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., Between 1700hrs on 09/22/03 and 0612hrs on 09/23/03, an unknown subject(s) broke into the business and stole money, cigarettes and alcohol.
BRANDISHING 9/23/2003, 3600 block Arlington Blvd., On 09/23/03 at 0300hrs, the victim, a 39-year-old male, was hanging out with friends when an argument ensued. An acquaintance pointed a pellet gun at the victim. Responding officers arrested the subject without incident and recovered the pellet gun. The arrested subject was identified as Arnold Fulgar Papa, white male of Arlington, VA.
BURGLARY 9/23/2003, 2600 block S. Crystal Drive, On 09/23/03 between 0140hrs and 0326hrs, the establishment was broken into and an undetermined amount of money was stolen.
BURGLARY 9/22/2003, 1800 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 09/22/03 between 0900hrs and 1600hrs, the residence was broken into by an unknown subject(s). A laptop computer and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen.
INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT 9/22/2003, 2400 block N. Sycamore St., On 09/22/03 between 1000hrs and 1100 hrs, the victim, a 45 year old male, was cutting down trees that had downed local power lines, when he was either electrocuted or struck by a tree limb. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
INDECENT EXPOSURE 9/21/2003, 2800 block S. Arlington Ridge Rd., On 09/21/03 at about 2310hrs, the victim, a 24-year-old female, was riding a bus when a man not known to her exposed himself and began masturbating in front of her. When she exited the bus the subject followed her. She then flagged down officers who apprehended the subject after a short foot chase. The subject was arrested for indecent exposure. The subject was identified as Duane Cedric Foster, black male, of Alexandria, Virginia.
MISSING JUVENILE 9/21/2003, 3900 block N. Roberts Lane, On 09/21/03 at 1722hrs an 11 year old female juvenile was reported missing from her neighborhood after she left for a short walk and had not returned. Arlington County Officers later found her, unharmed, in Fairfax County on 09/22/03.
BURGLARY 9/21/2003, 1600 block S. 28th St., Between 1800hrs on 09/19/03 and 1700hrs on 09/21/03, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole jewelry and a cellular phone.
BURGLARY 9/20/2003, 1200 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., On 09/20/03 between 0500hrs and 0545hrs, the establishment was broken into by unknown subject(s) and a cash register drawer was stolen.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY 9/19/2003, 1200 block S. Eads St., Between 1800hrs on 09/19/03 and 0604hrs on 09/20/03, an unknown subject(s) smashed the front windows of the establishment but nothing appeared to be stolen at the time of the report.
BURGLARY 9/19/2003, 800 block S. 15th St., Sometime between 1900hrs on 09/10/03 and 1100hrs on 09/19/03, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole jewelry and a camera.
ATTEMPT ROBBERY 9/19/2003, 2400 block S. Shirlington Road, On 09/19/03 at 1330hrs, the victims, a 22-year-old female passenger and a 27-year-old male driver, were stopped at a stop sign when a passenger in the vehicle in front of them exited his vehicle. The subject approached the victim’s passenger window, punched her and stole her purse from her lap. The driver of the victim vehicle then got into a physical altercation with the subject and recovered the stolen purse. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old, 5’7”/150, wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, dark rain cost and a black ball cap. The vehicle is described as a white Isuzu Trooper.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 9/16/2003, 800 block S. Dickerson St., On 09/16/03 at 2102hrs, the victim, a 26 year old female, was shot in the arm with a possible B.B. Gun while jogging near her home. The victim sustained a minor injury. There is no description of the subject at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

SEXUAL ASSAULT 9/16/2003, 1600 block N. Fairfax Dr., On 09-16-03 at 0715hrs, the 22-year-old female victim was jogging when an unknown subject walking near her grabbed her buttocks. The subject is described as an Asian male, 20 years old, 56170-180lbs, wearing dark pants and a read and green flannel shirt.
BURGLARY 9/15/2003, 2100 block N. Scott St., On 09/15/03 between 1200hrs and 1300hrs, an unknown subject broke into the residence. Multiple pieces of jewelry, electronic equipment and an undisclosed amount of currency were stolen.
BURGLARY 9/15/2003, 2900 block S. 5th St., On 09/15/03 at 1141hrs, a known subject was caught inside a residence not belonging to him. When confronted, the subject left the scene. Arrests warrants were obtained for the subject and the investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY 9/13/2003, 4300 block N. Old Dominion Dr., Sometime on 09/13/03, the residence was broken into and chairs were stolen.
BURGLARY 9/14/2003, 5100 block S. 8th Rd., Between 2000hrs on 09-13-03 and 0030hrs on 09-14-03, an unknown subject(s) entered the residence and stole jewelry.
BURGLARY 9/14/2003, 1800 block N. Cameron St., On 09/14/03, between 0415hrs and 0444hrs, the residence was broken into and electronic equipment was moved from where the resident and left them to the floor. When the resident returned home both front and back doors were found open. A K9 track for the subject ended with negative results a few blocks from the residence.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 9/13/2003, 200 block N. Glebe Rd., On 09/13/03 between 1510hrs and 1525hrs, a male subject was seen exposing his genitalia in front of a local establishment. Officers responded and arrested: Davidson, James, white male, of Arlington, VA.
ROBBERY 9/12/2003, 1800 block N. Quinn St., On 09/12/03 at 0015hrs the victim, a 24 year old male, was approached by four male subjects who told him to empty his pockets. As the victim was complying, he was hit over the head with a beer bottle and then was repeatedly struck by the subjects. The victim was taken to the hospital and he was determined to have severe facial injuries. The subjects are described as 3 Middle Eastern males and one Asian male, all about 20 years old.

BURGLARY 9/8/2003, 1700 block N. Troy St., On 09/08/03 between 0750hrs and 1900hrs, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole a laptop computer.
ROBBERY 9/8/2003, 4200 block S. Four Mile Run Dr., On 08/09/03 at 1623hrs the victim, a 26 year old female, was approached by an unknown subject while she was walking home. The subject forcibly took her purse and fled the area. After having been given a lookout, responding officers arrested the subject a short time later and the victim positively identified him. A Hispanic male juvenile from Alexandria, VA was arrested.
ATTEMPT ABDUCTION 9/7/2003, 4000 block S. Four Mile Run Dr., On 09/07/03 at 1620hrs, the victim, a three year old female was approached by an unknown subject who grabbed her arm and told her to come with him. When family intervened the subject fled in a vehicle. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 30 years old, 5’5”, and 160lbs, short hair, wearing khaki pants and a red shirt. The vehicle is described as a blue Ford Explorer with Virginia tags. The investigation is ongoing.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL 9/7/2003, 1200 block N. Veitch St., On 09/07/03 at 0227 hrs, the victim, a 20 year old female was found dead after apparently falling to her death from a balcony. The victim's identity is being withheld at the request of her family. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY 9/6/2003, 3100 block Columbia Pike, On 09/06/03 at 0158hrs, an unknown subject pushed a cashier to the ground taking an unknown amount of money from the cash register. The subject is described as a black male, blond hair, wearing blue jeans and a black, white and yellow jacket.
ARMED ROBBERY 9/6/2003, 1900 block N. Rhodes St., On 09/06/03 at 2218hrs, the 32 year old male victim was walking from his vehicle to his home when he was approached by two unknown subjects. One subject pointed a handgun at him and told him to give up his money and car keys. The subjects took the victim’s wallet with an undisclosed amount of money and his vehicle. Subject # 1 is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, light complexion, 5’8”, 140lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, wearing either a red or blue bandanna. Subject #2 is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, medium complexion, 6’0, 170lbs, wearing a blue or black jersey. The vehicle is a light brown, 2004 Lexus RX330 SUV with unknown Florida temporary tags.
ROBBERY 9/6/2003, 4300 block N. Pershing Dr., On 09/06/03 at 0250hrs, the victim, a 25 year old male, was walking home when three unknown subjects approached him, displayed knives and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was removed from his wallet and the subjects fled on foot. Subject #1 is described as a black male, 6’0, 150lbs, about 22-23 years old, with short hair, clean shaven, wearing a white shirt, black pants, black shoes and a dark baseball hat. Subject #2 is described as a black male, 6’0, 150lbs, 22-23 years old, wearing dark clothes and a dark baseball cap. Subject #3 is described as a Hispanic male, 5’10, 140lbs, 23 years old, short black hair, wearing dark clothes and a dark baseball cap.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 9/5/2003, 1600 block N. Bryan St., On 09/05/03 at 2359hrs, the victim, a 23 year old female was walking home from a local establishment when she was grabbed from behind in the groin area by an unknown subject. The subject then “mooned” her. The subject is described as a black male, medium complexion, 18-25 years of age, 5’7”, about 140lbs, wearing a short-sleeved, button down, blue plaid shirt, and khaki pants.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 9/5/2003, 3100 block N. 9th St., On 09/05/03 at 2130 hrs, the victim, a 21 year old female, was standing on the street in front of her home when an unknown subject approached her and attempted to grab her groin area. When she pulled away the subject then exposed his buttocks and genitalia to her. The subject is described as a black male, mid 20’s, 5’8”, thin build, with a goatee, short hair, wearing a blue and white checked, short-sleeved, collared shirt, blue jeans, a black belt and white underwear.
BURGLARY 9/5/2003, 1900 block N. Fort Myer Dr., Between 1730hrs on 09/04/03 and 0725hrs on 09/05/03, several office suites were broken into by an unknown subject(s) and several computers were stolen.
ATTEMPT BREAKING AND ENTERING 9/4/2003, 4700 block S. 6th St., On 09/04/03 at 1554hrs, an unknown subject attempted to gain entrance to a residence not belonging to him via a rear basement door. When confronted by the homeowner, the subject fled on foot. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 5’7”, medium build, dark complexion, clean shaven, wearing dark jeans, a dark baseball cap and a white cut off shirt.

BURGLARY 9/4/2003, 1600 block N. Pierce St., On 09/04/03 between 1200hrs and 2215hrs, an unknown subject(s) broke into a residence and stole jewelry.
ATTEMPT ROBBERY 9/4/2003, 1300 block S. 28th St., On 09/04/03 at 2230hrs, the victim, a 40 year old male, was standing in front of his apartment complex when he was approached by an unknown subject who demanded he give up his wallet. The victim refused and the subject pushed him to the ground. No injuries were sustained and the subject fled without any of the victim’s property.

Greenbrier St., Between 1600hrs and 1630hrs on 08/31/03, the victim, a 29 year old female, was sitting on a park bench when she observed an unknown male expose himself and begin masturbating near her. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, in his 20’s, clean-shaven with neatly cut hair. He wore clean clothing, unknown description.

BURGLARY 8/29/2003, 1500 block S. 15th St., Between 0630hrs on 08/26/03 and 1700hrs on 08/29/03, an unknown suspect(s) broke into the residence and stole jewelry and checks.
ROBBERY 9/3/2003, 2000 block N. 11th St., On 09/03/03, at 2255hrs, the victim, a 31-year-old male, was walking into his apartment complex when he was kicked by an unknown subject who demanded he hand over his money. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8”, thin build, about 17-18 years old, with dark curly hair, wearing a gray T-shirt with cut off sleeves.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/31/2003, 5600 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 08/31/03 at 2330hrs, the 17-year-old male victim was punched repeatedly by an acquaintance causing severe facial injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/29/2003, 4900 block Columbia Pike, At approximately 0007hrs, the victim, a 21yo male, was approached by four unknown male subjects. The subjects made a gang reference and began to chase the victim. When the victim fell, the subjects began to assault him. The subjects then fled the scene. All four subjects are described as WMs, Hispanic.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 8/28/2003, 2600 block N. Pershing Dr., Sometime between 2000hrs on 08/27/03 and 0630hrs on 08/28/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a register. Entry was made by smashing a front glass door.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 8/28/2003, 4200 block N. Wilson Blvd., At approximately 1850hrs, the victim, a 21yo male, was approached by two unknown male subjects who accused the victim of being in a gang. One subject asked the victim for money while the other subject kneed the victim in the thigh. One subject then reached into the victim’s pants pocket but was unable to take anything from him. The subjects, both juveniles, were apprehended.
EXPOSURE 9/2/2003, 1800 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., At 1420hrs, an unknown male subject exposed himself to the 34 year old, female victim, while she was at work. The subject is described as a black male, about 30-35 years of age, 6'0", 180lbs, wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.

ROBBERY 9/1/2003, unit block S. Glebe Rd., On 09/01/03 between 0935hrs and 0945hrs, two unknown subjects robbed the establishment at gunpoint taking money and merchandise. Subject #1 is described as a black male, with a dark complexion, wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt and a black cap, tennis shoes and sunglasses. Subject #2 is described as a black male, 5'6"-5'8", wearing blue jeans, a black hat, a black sports jacket, and a black backpack.
BURGLARY 8/30/2003, 1500 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., Sometime between 0001hrs on 08/17/03 and 2200hrs on 08/30/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry to the residence and took jewelry.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 8/29/2003, 1800 N. Glebe Rd., On 08/29/03 at 1723hrs, the victim, a 27 year old female was jogging along the roadway when an unknown male grabbed her around her chest and buttocks area. The subject is described as a black male, 5'7"-5'8", 150-160lbs, 30-40 years old, wearing a blue and white long sleeve button down shirt.
STRONG-ARM ROBBERY 8/29/2003, 4700 block Columbia Pike, 08/29/03, At 0132hrs, the victim, a 25 year old male, was walking down the street when he was approached by two subjects who grabbed him and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. Later officers apprehended two subjects who were positively identified by the victim. Arrested was Alfaro-Amaya, Edwin Roberto, Hispanic male, of Arlington, VA and a Hispanic male juvenile of Manassas, VA.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/27/2003, 5000 block S. Chesterfield Rd., On 08/27/03 at 2250hrs, two subjects shot a male victim following an argument. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury. One subject was able to be identified and is currently wanted by ACPD. Wanted: Bea, Marion Lea a.k.a. “G”, black male, 6’2”, 200lbs, 39 years of age, last known address in the 2700 block S. Cleveland St., Arlington, VA. He may be driving a ’94 Lexus, 4d, silver with VA, YFR7336. He is considered armed and dangerous. He may be in the company of an unidentified black male.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 8/26/2003, 1200 block S. Eads St., On 08/26/03 between 0430hrs and 0600hrs, the establishment was broken into by unknown subject(s) and two vehicles were stolen. The two vehicles were a Mercury Sable, tan, with VA tag T24FKZ and a Ford Taurus, maroon with MD tag LFS178.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY 8/26/2003, 5400 block N. Bluemont Dr., On 08/26/03 between 2225hrs and 2258hrs an unknown subject was observed trying to gain entry into two houses. The subject was described as a white male, age 14-16, 5 thin, wearing a cream-colored T-shirt with a black logo on the lower back, dark knee-length shorts and dark sandals.
ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY 8/26/2003, 2400 block S. Culpepper St., On 08/26/03 at 2325 hrs, the victim, a 42 year old, male cab driver was dropping off a customer when the customer placed a knife to the victim? throat and demanded money. She screamed and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect is described as a B/M, 5’5” 180lbs, wearing blue jeans and a white short sleeve shirt.
ROBBERY 7/24/2003, 600 Block N. Glebe Road, At about 0120hrs, two victims, a 32yo male and a 46yo male were walking in a parking lot towards their vehicles when attacked by several subjects and robbed of their jewelry and cell phone. Suspects were detained a short time later by officers in the area and two suspects were subsequently arrested for robbery as well as larceny of goods found on their person from a nearby establishment. Arrested was: 1) Saiquita Romero, Ariel, W/H/M, of the 4300 Block N. Pershing Dr. Arlington, VA. 2) Martinez, Omar, W/H/M, of the 400 Block N. George Mason Dr. in Arlington, VA.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 7/23/2003, 1200 Block S. Hayes St., At approximately 1830hrs on 07/23/03, a 17yo female victim was working at a pool when a man propositioned her for sexual favors and ultimately groped her chest. The subject is described as a B/M, 5’4 130lbs, about 40years of age, wearing blue jeans and a striped shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 7/23/2003, 1500 Block S. 28 St., Between 0146hrs and 0151hrs on 07/23/03, the 36yo male victim was assaulted by two black male juveniles and robbed of his wallet. A canvas of the area yielded the arrest of both subjects.

ROBBERY (FORCE) 7/19/2003, 1200 Block S. Eads St., At 0039hrs on 07/19/03, the 21yo female victim was walking home from the listed location when she was punched in the face by a subject who then fled with her purse. The suspect is described as a B/M, black shirt and blue jeans.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT 7/19/2003, 1300 Block S. 28 St., At approximately 1940hrs, a 54yo male victim was struck in the face repeatedly by an unknown object after a traffic altercation. The suspect is described as a 20yo B/M, 6and 150lbs last seen driving a gray mid-sized vehicle towards Arlington Ridge Road from S. 28th Street.
BURGLARY-COMMERICAL 7/18/2003, 4700 Block Columbia Pike, Sometime between 2130hrs on 07/17/03 and 0830hrs on 07/18/03, unknown subject(s) gained access to the business via smashing in a front window pane stealing several articles of clothing.
ROBBERY (FORCE), 7/18/2003, 5100 Block S. 8 St., At 1538hrs, a 36yo female victim, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of currency after a subject grabbed her purse in her apartment building. The subject is described as a 20-25 year old B/M, 5 5, 160-170lbs wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants, black vest and black skull cap.
PEEPING TOM 7/17/2003, 3800 Block N. 5 St., On 07/17/03 at about 2115 hrs, the victim, a 51yo male saw an unknown man looking into his window. When asked what he was doing, he said he was looking for a friend and then ran to a small 4dr white Japanese style vehicle and left the scene driving west on N. 5th Street. The subject is described as a W/H/M, 5'6", 30's, stocky build @180lbs, spoke English with a slight Hispanic accent wearing white painter's clothing.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/16/2003, 3500 Block S. 17 St., Sometime between 0830hrs on 07/16/03 and 2315hrs on 07/16/03 an unknown person smashed the door window to access the interior cylinder lock and gained entry to the home stealing a pair of silver earrings.
BURGLARY-COMMERICAL 7/16/2003, 6800 Block N. Fairfax Dr., Sometime between 2030hrs on 07/15/03 and 0700hrs on 07/16/03, unknown subject(s) gained access to the business, searched three offices and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the petty cash drawer. Point of entry is believed to be a side door. An empty safe on the premises was also forced open.
BURGLARY-COMMERCIAL 7/16/2003, 2600 Block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., Sometime between 1530hrs on 07/15/03 and 0400hrs on 07/16/03, unknown subject(s) broke the glass door to the establishment and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/15/2003, 4700 block of N. 24th St., At 0130hrs, unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entrance into a residence by forcibly opening a rear door.
ARMED ROBBERY 7/14/2003, 300 block of N. George Mason Dr., At 1012hrs, the victim, a 30yo male, was standing next to his work van when two unknown subjects approached him. Subject #1 produced a handgun and ordered the victim to give them his car keys. The victim dropped his keys, and Subject #2 picked them up. The subjects then fled the scene in the stolen van.
Law enforcement officers in D.C. observed the vehicle being driven in D.C. The vehicle was recovered and the occupants apprehended. Arrest warrants are pending further investigation.
ARMED ROBBERY 7/14/2003, 2100 block of S. Washington Blvd., At 1910hrs, the victim, a 56yo female, was getting in her car when an unknown subject approached her, displayed a knife, and demanded the keys to her car. The victim complied, and the subject fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. A short time later, an Arlington officer observed the vehicle on Jefferson Davis Hwy. The vehicle was stopped and the subject, a juvenile, was apprehended.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/14/2003, 1100 block of S. Queen St., Between 1100hrs and 1120hrs on 07/13/03, unknown subjects entered an elderly victim’s unlocked house and stole a metal box containing important documents.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/14/2003, 1500 block of N. Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 2200hrs on 07/11/03 and 0742hrs on 07/14/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a maintenance room and stole a pair of gloves, a screwdriver and a pad of paper.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/14/2003, 1400 block of S. Eads St., Sometime between 07/13/03 and 07/14/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry through a front door into two stores. The subject(s) stole cigarettes from one of the stores and an undetermined amount of cash from both stores.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/14/2003, 1700 block of S. Taylor St., Sometime between 1800hrs on 07/11/03 and 1000hrs on 07/14/03, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment complex community room through a window and stole snack food. The subject(s) also vandalized the room.
ROBBERY 7/14/2003, 2800 block of S. Arlington Mill Dr., On 07/14/03, at 0100hrs, the victim, a 19yo male, was walking home when he was approached by three unknown subjects. Subject #1 demanded the victim’s money and MP3 player. The subjects then fled the scene on foot. Subject #1 was described as a WHM, 16-18yo, 5’8”, 180lbs, wearing a royal blue shirt wrapped around his face. The other subjects were described as WHMs, 5’8”, 140 -150lbs.
ROBBERY 7/13/2003, 1400 block of S. 28th St., On 07/13/03, at approximately 0100hrs, the victim, a 28yo male, was attempting to retrieve something from his vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by two unknown subjects. The subjects, both armed with handguns, demanded the victim’s car keys. The victim complied and the subjects fled in the victim’s car on S. 28th St. Both subjects were described as WHM wearing ski masks.
ROBBERY 7/11/2003, 3900 block of S. 9th St., On 07/11/03, at 0620hrs, the victim, a 56yo female, was walking to her house when an unknown subject approached her. The subject grabbed the victim’s purse. A struggle ensued during which the subject knocked the victim to the ground. The subject then fled the scene with the purse. The subject was described as a WM, 20s, 5’7”-5’8”, 140-150lbs, wearing a light green T-shirt and light colored pants. The subject had brown hair and a fair complexion.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/10/2003, 1500 blk N. 16th St., Between 1400hrs on 07/07/03 and 0817hrs on 07/10/03, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a basement storage area by prying open the door. The subject(s) stole a bicycle and bicycle accessories.
INDECENT EXPOSURE 7/10/2003, 1600 blk N. Rhodes St., At 1630hrs, the victim, a 57yo female, was walking on N. 16th St. when an unknown subject walked by exposing his genitalia. Responding officers stopped the subject, but the victim refused to prosecute.
GANG ACTIVITY 7/9/2003, 4200 blk N. Wilson Blvd., On 07/09/03, at 1921hrs, officers responded for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers stopped three subjects who were identified as participants in the fight and as members of a gang. After further investigation, Jose Luis Castillo-Hurcules, 22, of Woodbridge, VA, Luis John Olarte-Munares, 20, of McClean, VA, and Jose Roberto Aparicio-Garcia, 21, of Falls Church, VA were charged with criminal street gang participation.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/10/2003, 1700 blk N. Monroe St., Sometime between 1700hrs on 05/30/03 and 0941hrs on 07/09/03, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed an air conditioner and refrigerator. Entry was apparently made through the front door.
SEXUAL BATTERY 7/10/2003, 2700 blk N. Clarendon Blvd., At approximately 2045hrs, the victim, a 29yo female, was walking in a courtyard when an unknown male subject approached from behind and grabbed the victim’s crotch and buttocks. The subject then immediately fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a BM, mid 20s, approx. 5’7”-5’8”, short “Afro”-style hairdo, wearing dark-colored clothing, and carrying a dark back pack.
EXPOSURE 7/9/2003, 5500 blk Arlington Blvd., At approximately 0840hrs, the victim, a 36yo female, was jogging on the Four Mile Run bike trail when an unknown male subject appeared in front of her. The subject was nude and appeared to be masturbating. The victim screamed and threatened to call the police, causing the subject to flee on foot. The suspect is described as a WM, approx. 50yo, 5’9”, 180lbs, gray or white hair, wearing running shoes.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/9/2003, 1500 blk N. Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 2030hrs on 07/08/03 and 0610hrs on 07/09/03, unknown subject(s) entered a business and removed a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.
ROBBERY 7/9/2003, 4200 blk S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 1300hrs, the victim, a 17yo male, was walking to work when he was approached by three unknown male subjects. One of the subjects asked the victim “What you got?” while another subject grabbed his arms. One subject then reached into the victim’s pants pocket and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. All three subjects then fled the scene on foot. The suspects are all described as WM, Hispanic, late teens. One suspect was wearing a black t-shirt w/ “Enyce” written on it.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/7/2003, 1700 blk S. Taylor St., Sometime between 1200hrs on 06/25/03 and 1230hrs on 07/07/03, unknown subject(s) entered a school building and removed several items including bottled water, freezer pops and milk cartons. Entry was apparently made by forcing open a window.
ROBBERY 7/7/2003, 3100 blk S. Columbia Pike., At approximately 1529hrs, the victim, a 26yo female retail manager, was making a drop in the night deposit box at a bank when she was approached by an unknown female subject. The subject grabbed the money bag in the victim’s hand and the victim began to struggle with the subject. The subject then said she had a gun and threatened the victim if she didn’t release the money. The victim let go of the bag and the subject fled on foot eastbound on Columbia Pike. The suspect is described as a BF, approx. 5’5”-5’6”, 120-130lbs, wearing a tan hat, red shirt and blue jeans.
ARMED ROBBERY 7/5/2003, 3900 blk N. 4th St., At approximately 2330hrs, victim #1, a 21yo male, allowed four unknown male subjects and one unknown female subject into his apartment where he was visiting with several friends. Several of the subjects produced weapons and ordered everyone to the ground. The subjects then tied up the guests and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from them. The subjects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. All five subjects are described only as W/H, 20s-30s.
ARMED BANK ROBBERY 7/3/2003, 2900 blk S. Glebe Rd., At approximately 1902hrs, an unknown female subject entered a bank, produced a handgun and ordered everyone to the ground. The subject then handed a teller a bag and told him to fill it with cash. The subject then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, got into a vehicle and headed south on Glebe Rd. The suspect is described as a WF, 40s, approx. 5’2”-5’4”, 150lbs, with light-colored hair, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored skirt or pants. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored 2003 Dodge Neon.
PEEPING TOM 7/7/2003, 1400 blk S. 28th St., At approximately 0233hrs, a female victim observed two fingers protruding through the window blinds while she was showering. The victim screamed and the subject fled the scene.
