PEEPING TOM, 9/30/2005, 1700 BLK N. Moore Street, On September 30th at about 0934 hours, a male walked into the women’s bathroom on the second floor and looked over the stall at the woman using the facilities. The suspect was described as a B/M, 25 YOA, 5’9- 6’0,thin build, LSW a construction helmet, doo rag, short sleeve white t-shirt and blue jeans.
RESIDENTIAL BURGALRY, 9/29/2005, 1800 BLK N. Rhodes St., Between September 28th at 2300 hours and September 29 at 0530, an unknown subject entered the residence and took an undisclosed amount of cash, and a computer. No signs of force entry found.
EXPOSURE, 9/29/2005, 1000 BLK S. Frederick St., On September 29 at about 1230 hours, a female was walking home from school when she saw a male standing at a window masturbating. A suspect was located but he denied any involvement.
HOMICIDE, 9/29/2005, 2000 BLK S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., On September 29, at approximately 0459 hours, a male was shot multiple times while in a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.
ATTEMPT ROBBERY, 9/27/2005, 6000 BLK Wilson Blvd., On September 27 at approximately 1315 hours, an unknown male entered a local restaurant and attempted to remove money from the cash drawer. It is believed the suspect had a knife, but it was not seen.
ROBBERY, 9/27/2005, 1100 BLK N. Barton Street, On September 27 at approximately 1545 hours, an unknown male walked up to a juvenile male who was sitting on a park bench and told the victim to give him the Game boy. The suspect took it and ran away. The suspect was described as a B/M 16-17 YOA, 5’10, 130-150 lbs. LSW a black and grey sweatshirt with black pants and had cornrows.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/27/2005, 400 BLK S. 23rd Street, On September 27 at approximately 0136 hours, a male was observed by the police smashing a window to a local restaurant. The subject was seen entering the business. K-9 responded and located the subject in the woman’s rest room. Arrested was Eddie F. Flores, 43 YOA of 520 E Euclid St., San Antonio, TX. Flores was charged with burglary and held on a $5000 bond.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/26/2005, 1300 BLK S. Scott Street, Between September 12th and September 26, an unknown subject(s) allegedly stole several items of jewelry from the victim’s apartment. No signs of force entry were found.
ROBBERY, 9/26/2005, 2400 BLK Lee Highway, On September 26 at approximately 1600 hours, an unknown male approached the victim, who was retrieving items from his work truck, and took a laptop that the victim was holding. The suspect pushed the victim and ran. The suspect was described as a B/M mid to late 20’s, 5’8- 5’10, medium build, LSW a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/26/2005, 900 BLK S. Wakefield Street, Between 1600 hours on September 25th and 1052 hours on September 26th, an unknown subject(s) entered the office and took various computer equipment.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/26/2005, 5000 BLK N. 15th Street, Between 1530 hours on September 23rd and 1330 hours on September 25th, an unknown subject(s) entered the house, which is under construction, and took miscellaneous construction equipment.
ATTEMPT ARMED ROBBERY, 9/25/2005, 2700 BLK S. Troy Street, On September 25th at approximately 1849 hours, a male victim was walking to his residence when he was approached by 3 subjects. One subject produced a knife and motioned for the victim to hand over the money. The victim was grabbed by one of the other suspects, but managed to free himself and ran off. No cash was obtained. Suspect #1 was described as a B/M 20 YOA 4’10, 150 lbs, black hair, LSW a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Suspect #2 is a B/M 20 YOA, 5’4, 170 lbs, black hair, LSW a black and white camouflage shirt and dark pants. Suspect #3 B/M 17 YOA 5’0, 150 lbs, black hair, LSW Black t-shirt over a white t-shirt and dark pants.
ROBBERY, 9/25/2005, 1600 BLK Wilson Blvd., On September 25th at about 1216 hours, a male suspect entered a local gas station, with his right hand wrapped in a cloth. The suspect demanded that the clerk give him the money. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash drawer. Suspect is described as a B/M 23 YOA 5’4, 150 lbs, medium complexion. LSW a grey hoody and black pants.
ROBBERY, 9/24/2005, 3000 BLK S. 22nd Street, On September 24, at approximately 0140 hours, a male victim was walking to a near by convenient, store when he was knocked unconscious by two subjects. Taken was his wallet containing a credit card, driver license and an undisclosed amount of cash. Suspects were described as B/M’s.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/24/2005, 212 N. Glebe Road, On September 24, at 1040 hours, the victim was home cleaning when someone was heard trying to get into the apartment. The deadbolt was heard being unlock, but the unknown subject was unable to unlock the secondary deadbolt. A subject was seen leaving the area and was described as a W/H/M in his 30’s, 5’6 175 lbs, black hair and medium complexion. LSW a light blue button down shirt, blue jean shorts and black sneakers.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/24/2005, 4900 BLK Columbia Pike, On September 23, between 1100 and 2200 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the apartment by way of the kitchen door. Various jewelry items and a camera were taken as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/23/2005, 3000 BLK S. Hill Street, On September 23, between 0745 and 1830 hours, an unknown subject(s) climbed onto a shed and then entered the residence by way of a second story bathroom window. Items stolen included, electronics and computer equipment.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/22/2005, 3400 BLK N. Roberts Lane, On September 22, between 0915 and 1630 hours, an unknown subject(s) attempted to pry open the rear kitchen door. Entry was not gain and nothing reported missing.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/22/2005, 1700 BLK S. Walter Reed Drive, On September 22, between midnight and 1551 hours, an unknown subject(s) kicked in the rear door to the residence and stole two (2) knives. Other items were moved around but nothing else reported missing.
ROBBERY, 9/20/2005, 5000 BLK S. Chesterfield Road, On September 19 at approximately 2230 hours, a male victim was walking to a friend’s house when he was approached by 2 males and attacked. The suspects knocked the victim to the ground and punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach. Stolen was a personal music devise. Suspects were described as H/M’s between 17-18 YOA. NFI
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/20/2005, 1200 BLK S. Courthouse Road, On September 19 between 0900 and 2330m hours, an unknown subject(s) attempted to pry open the door to the victim’s apartment. Nothing reported missing.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/19/2005, 5700 BLK N. 25th Street, On September 19 between 100 and 1515 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the unlocked basement door of the victim’s residence and stole various pieces of recording equipment.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/18/2005, 900 BLK S. 21st Street, Between September 16th and September 18th at 1700 hours, an unknown subject(s) pried open the basement door and stole several pieces of electronic equipment.
PEEPING TOM, 9/18/2005, 4200 BLK N. Pershing Drive, On September 18th at approximately 0343 hours, a female heard noises coming from the A/C The victim woke up and saw a hand pulling at the sides of the A/C. The victim banged on the window and the subject fled.
PEEPING TOM, 9/18/2005, 2800 BLK N. Wilson Blvd., On September 18th at about 0028 hours, a male was found to be in the women’s restroom at a local restaurant. The suspect was observed looking under one of the stalls and fled once he was questioned by a female.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 9/17/2005, 900 BLK S. Buchanan Street, On September 17th at about 0238 hours, a male subject climbed into a second floor window and entered the apartment. The subject knew one of the residents in the apartment however; he did not have permission to enter. The subject was arrested and charged with unlawful entry. The subject was ID as Reinaldo Lazarte Vargas, 24 YOA of Arlington, VA.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 9/17/2005, 3700 BLK S. Columbia Pike, On September 17th at approximately 0148 hours, a male victim was involved in an argument with 2 unknown males, near El Rancho Migueleno. The victim was subsequently stabbed by an unknown subject in the stomach area. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injury.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/16/2005, 1200 BLK S. Scott Street, On September 16th between 1700 and 1941 hours, a female victim lost her apartment keys. Upon returning to her residence, she noticed that someone had gone through her cloths. One costume mini skirt was found to be missing.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/15/2005, 4100 BLK S. Four Mile Run Drive, Between September 14th at about 1830 hours and September 15th at about 0835 hours, an unknown subject(s) broke into the sales center and stole some electronic equipment. Entry may have been gained through a patio window.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/14/2005, 800 BLK S. Frederick Street, On September 14 at about 1630 hours, a juvenile male was chased by two other juvenile males. The victim ran home and locked the door. Seconds later, the suspects kicked the door open and entered the apartment. Taken were various X Box games and a CD. The victim and the suspects know each other.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/13/2005, 1100 BLK S. Hayes St., Between 2200 hours on September 12 and 0920 hours on September 13, an unknown subject(s) managed to get into a secured area of the Karibou Books kiosk, and attempted to steal cash. Nothing was reported stolen.
ROBBERY, 9/13/2005, 800 BLK S. Frederick St., On September 13 at approximately 0027 hours, a pizza delivery person was robbed by 3 males. The victim went to deliver the pizza but felt uncomfortable with the address. While talking to the pizza store, a male approached him and assaulted him. Then 2 more males joined and they went through the victim’s pocket. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. All three suspects were described as B/M’s. One suspect was 15-18 YOA, 5’0- 5’2, LSW a blk do-rag, wht t-shirt, blk pants.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/12/2005, 2500 BLK N. McKinley St., Between September 9 and September 12, an unknown subject(s) entered the home under construction and took various power tools. Entry may have been gained through a side door.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/12/2005, 1900 BLK N. Moore St., Between September 8 and September 12, an unknown subject(s) took a laptop computer from the victim’s desk drawer. No signs of forced entry found.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/12/2005, 1900 BLK N. Moore St., Between September 9th and September 12th, an unknown subject(s) entered the office suite and took a laptop computer and a boom box. Signs of tampering were found at the rear door of the suite.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY , 9/11/2005, 1100 BLK S. Hayes St., Between September 10th at 2130 hours and September 11th at 1055 hours, an unknown subject(s) slashed the security curtain at a kiosk and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY , 9/11/2005, 1100 BLK S. Hayes St., Between September 10th at 2130 hours and September 11th at 1045 hours, an unknown subject(s) slashed the security curtain at a kiosk and broke into cash register. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 9/10/2005, 1200 BLK S. Forest Drive, On September 10th at approximately 0436 hours, a male victim was stabbed in his left shoulder and suffered a cut to his right palm. The victim stated that a group of males approached him and asked what crew he belonged to. The victim stated that all suspects were bald with blue shirts, except for the one that stabbed him, who had on a Dallas Cowboy jersey.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 9/10/2005, 200 BLK N. Glebe Rd., On September 10th at about 2234 hours, a female victim was approached by a male suspect who attempted to take her purse. The suspect was not successful. On September 11th at 1403 hours, the victim was able to ID the suspect after seeing him again. The police where notified and the suspect was arrested.Suspect was ID as Dhofaq Blanco-Alvarez, 29 YOA, Arlington, VA. Blanco-Alvarez was charged with attempt robbery.
ROBBERY, 9/9/2005, 3000 BLK S. Glebe Rd., On September 8th at about 1420 hours, the male victim was approached by 2 males, who produced a knife and demanded the victim’s bike. Suspects took and the bike and fled into Alexandria. Suspect #1 was described as an H/M 20 YOA 5’6, 160 lbs, black hair and medium complexion. LSW a yellow tank top, jean shorts, wht shoes. Suspect #2 was described as an H/M 20 YOA 5’10, 140 lbs, black hair and medium complexion. LSW wht baggie t-shirt, blk shorts, stud earring in his left ear.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 9/9/2005, 2900 BLK S. Glebe Rd., On September 9th at approximately 1750 hours, a male victim was approached by an acquaintance who demanded money. When the victim refused to give him money, the male suspect struck the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground. The suspect was ID as Pedro German- Zelaya, 36 YOA. No fix address. German-Zelaya was charged with robbery and held on no bond.
PEEPING TOM, 9/8/2005, 1700 BLK N .Fairfax Drive, On September 8 at approximately 2227 hours, an unknown male was observed by a citizen looking into a window. The citizen challenged the suspect and the suspect walked away. The suspect was described as an H/M in his 20’s, 5’4, 130 lbs, LSW a red hat and blue shirt.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/8/2005, 4500 blk N. Lee Hwy., At approximately 0302hrs on 09/08/05, an unknown subject entered a convenience store and unsuccessfully attempted to remove several boxes of merchandise. Entry was made by prying open a door.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 9/7/2005, 3100 BLK Lee Hwy., On September 7 at about 1813 hours, a TAC officer observed a male masturbating in the parking lot of a local shopping center. The suspect was ID as Richard L. Bates. 70 YOA, from Forestville, MD. Bates was charged with indecent exposure.
ARMED ROBBERY, 9/7/2005, 2600 BLK S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., On September 7 at approximately 0800 hours, a male victim was robbed at gun point by another male, after the victim refused to give him money for gas. The suspect also struck the victim in the head with the handgun. The suspect left with the victim’s computer. The suspect was ID as Rick Donell or Darnel. B/M 28 YOA 5’10, 220 lbs, LSW a red hat, cream colored shirt and black acid wash shorts.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/7/2005, 4700 blk N. 24th Rd., Sometime between 1700 and 1930hrs on 09/06/05, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed a laptop, video camera, DVD player and watch. There were no signs of forced entry.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 9/6/2005, 5200 BLK S. 10th Street, On September 5 at about 2346 hours, two male victims were assaulted by 2 subject(s) after they got into an argument. The victim’s suffered various injuries, including lacerations. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspects were described as W/M’s in their 30’s. One suspect was 6’1 and the other between 5’7 and 5’10. One suspect had a tattoo on both hands with letters. They were last seen in a red pick-up truck.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/6/2005, 3400 BLK N. Washington Blvd., Between September 3 at 1230 hours and September 6 at 0600 hours, an unknown subject(s) broke into the storage cage at a construction site and took an undisclosed amount of thin wire.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/6/2005, 4400 BLK N. Pershing Drive, On September 3rd between 0900 and 1200 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the victim’s apartment while she was home, and took an undisclosed amount of cash from her purse.
ROBBERY, 9/5/2005, 4400 BLK N. Fairfax Drive, On September 5th at about 1144 hours, the victim got off a bus and was walking when he was hit with a bat from behind. As he attempted to get up, he was hit again by 3 males. Two males went through his pockets and taking his wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects were described as B/M’s ranging from 17-20 YOA.
ROBBERY, 9/4/2005, 1100 BLK S. Hayes Street, On September 4th at about 1343 hours, a male stole the victim’s purse by grabbing it off her shoulder after he approached her from behind. The suspect was taken into custody by 2 citizens and held until the police arrived. Suspect was ID as Darrell A. Bennett Stewart.20 YOA of Brentwood, MD. Stewart was charged with robbery.
BURGALRY, 9/4/2005, 1700 BLK N. Queens Lane, Between September 3 at 1600 hours and September 3 at 1242 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the locked front basement door, went into the locked storage area and broke into the victim’s storage compartment. A bicycle was stolen.
ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 9/3/2005, 4100 BLK S. Columbia Pike, On September 3rd at about 1739 hours, a male victim chased a suspect who he caught inside his vehicle. Once the victim caught the suspect, the suspect pulled out a razor and attempted to cut the victim. The victim was able to subdue the suspect until police arrive. Arrestee was ID as Roger L. Thomas, of Arlington, VA. Roger was charged with attempted malicious wounding and grand larceny. Bond was set at $5000.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 9/3/2005, 4200 BLK S. Four Mile Run Drive, On September 3rd at about 2125 hours, the snack shop at a local sports complex was found to have been burglarized. An unknown subject(s) pushed out the pull down door over the service counter and took several snacks and an undisclosed amount of cash.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 9/2/2005, 4100 BLK S. Four Mile Run Drive, On August 20, at about 0145 hours, a male victim was talking on the pay phone when he was hit in the head and knocked out. The following day, the victim was taken to a hospital out of the region. The victim suffered a broken nose, broken leg and broken jaw. No suspect information available.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/1/2005, 4500 BLK Wilson Blvd., On September 1 between 0830 and 1715 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the victim’s apartment through the kitchen window and stole various computer equipment.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/1/2005, 1900 BLK S. Langley Street, Between 1600 hours on August 31 and September 1 at 0923 hours, an unknown subject(s) climbed over the victim’s rear fence and entered a locked shed. Nothing was reported stolen.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/1/2005, 4200 BLK N. 38th Street, Between 1930 hours on August 31 and September 1 at 0630 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered a house being renovated and took various power tools. No forced entry found.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 9/1/2005, 2100 BLK S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., On August 31st between 1000 and 1800 hours, a subject entered the apartment and stole various electronic equipment and jewelry. The victim believes it may have been a former roommate.
ROBBERY, 8/31/2005, 300 BLK N. Manchester Street, On August 31st at about 0107 hours, a female was offered a ride and she accepted. Once in the car, she was asked to perform sexual acts. She complied because she thought she might be killed if she did not. The suspects drove the victim to a park and ordered the victim to leave her purse in the car. The victim managed to escape and called for help. Both suspects were described as H/M’s, about 23 YOA, 5’5 140-165 lbs. Suspect vehicle was described as a large white 4 door car, possibly an SUV.
BANK ROOBERY, 8/30/2005, 1100 BLK S. Walter Reed Drive, On August 30th at approximately 1346 hours, an unknown male entered a local bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. Suspect is described as a W/M 5’7, 160 lbs, medium complexion, LSW a red t-shirt with “staff” on the back, blue jeans and black sunglasses.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 8/30/2005, 5800 BLK N. Washington Blvd., On August 30th between 0520 and 1545 hours, an unknown subject(s) cut the kitchen window screen and entered the residence. Reported taken were various jewelry items.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY , 8/30/2005, 1900 BLK N. Wilson Blvd., Between 2000 hours on August 29 and 1045 hours on August 30, an unknown subject(s) entered an office and took computer equipment as well as an undisclosed amount of change. No signs of forced entry found.
ROBBERY, 8/29/2005, 200 BLK N. Glebe Road, On August 29 at approximately 2155 hours, a male victim was talking on his cell phone when 4 males approached him. One of the suspects placed the victim in a choke hold. The victim’s wallet, containing an undisclosed amount of cash, was taken. The police were called and K-9 located the suspects. Arrested was Darneigh T. Garner, 19 YOA. Garner of Arlington, VA. Garner was charged with robbery and held without bond.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY 8/29/2005, 2300 BLK S. Shirlington Road, Between August 26 at 0900 hours and August 29 at 0830 hours, an unknown subject(s) accessed the victim's bedroom through an open window while the victim was gone. It appears someone laid in the bed, however nothing was reported missing.
ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY 8/29/2005, 2400 BLK S. Shirlington Road, On August 29 at approximately 2033 hours, a male attempted to steal a bag a chips from, a local store, by stuffing them into his pants. The store clerk was able to recover the chips. As the clerk walked away, the subject pulled out a screw driver and attempted to get the chips back. When asked by the police to ID himself, he refused. The subject was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and fail to ID. The subject was held on a $5000 bond.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 8/29/2005, 4100 BLK Four Mile Run Drive, Between August 26 at about 1815 hours and August 29 at 0700 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the building through a window and stole various electronic equipment.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/28/2005, 300 BLK N. George Mason Drive, On August 28 at approximately 021 hours a male victim was stabbed in the right shoulder after attempting to separate 2 others from a verbal altercation. Arrested was a Marvin T. Guerra, 19 YOA of Arlington, VA.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/28/2005, 6000 BLK N. 26TH Street, On August 28 at about 0507 hours, a male entered the residence by way of a first floor window. The homeowner was alerted and located the suspect in his daughter's room. A physical confrontation took place and the homeowner shot the suspect. The suspect fled and was later located at a local hospital. Arrested was David J. Valdivia Dominguez, 18 YOA of Arlington, VA. Dominguez was charged with burglary.
ABDUCTION WITH INTENT TO DEFILE 8/28/2005, 4300 BLK N .Pershing Drive, On August 28 at about 0320 hours, a female victim was walking when a male approached her from behind, grabbed by the neck and began to chock her. The subject pulled the victim into nearby bushes. The suspect punched the victim and attempted to remove her shirt. A citizen heard the victim yelling and intervened. The suspect fled on foot but was later located. Arrested was Melbin Orlando Sanchez De Leon. 22 YOA of Arlington, VA. Sanchez De Leon was charged with abduction with intent to defile. He was held without bond.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/27/2005, 3900 BLK N. 5TH Street, Between 1300 and 1700 hours on August 27, a subject(s) entered the victim's residence and took clothing and electronic items. No signs of forced entry found.
ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/27/2005, 2400 BLK N. Arlington Blvd., On August 27 at approximately 0235 hours, the victim was traveling westbound on Arlington Blvd., when a vehicle pulled up next to his car. Suddenly, both side windows were shattered It is believed the windows were shattered due to BB's being shot at the windows. Suspect vehicle was described as a Dodge Intrepid, champagne in color.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/26/2005, 3800 BLK N. Tazewell Street, Between August 15 at 0530 hours and August 26 at 0200 hours, an unknown subject(s) broke out the panel window to a basement door. Nothing was reported missing and it is believed no entry was gained.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/26/2005, 6900 BLK N. Fairfax Drive, Between August 23 at 2200 hours and August 26 at 0740 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the victim's room and took an undisclosed amount of cash from an unlocked box in his room. No signs of forced entry found.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/25/2005, 1500 BLK S. 28th Street, On August 24 at approximately 2352 hours, a security guard heard suspicious noises coming from the building he was passing. He observed a male trying to open to the front entrance to the apartment with a crow bar. The guard also saw other subjects in the area who he thought were lookouts. The suspects were described as B/M's in their teens.

The suspects grabbed his shirt collar and went through his pockets. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspects were only described as H/M's.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY 8/24/2005, 2200 blk Clarendon Blvd., On August 24 at approximately 1233 a male was found to be staying in a vacant apartment. The suspect stated he had no where to stay and found the door ajar and began staying there. Arrested was a Korey B. Jackson, 22 YOA. of Hyattsville, MD. Mr. Jackson was charged with unlawful entry and held on a $500 bond.

The subject pulled down his pants and pointed at his genitals. He ran off when the victim screamed. Subject was described as an H/M 5'7, 160 lbs, black hair, and light complexion. BURGLARY 8/21/2005, 3000 blk S.Randolph Street, On August 21 at approximately 0319 hours, a female victim awoke to find a male kneeling at her bed with his hands under the mattress. As the victim sat up, the suspect left the bedroom and went into the kitchen. The suspect returned to the bedroom and the victim told him to leave and the suspect left. Entry was possibly gained through a window that was forced open. The suspect was described as an H/M 20 YOA, 5'8, 150 lbs, dark complexion and LSW a white t0-shirt and jeans.
ROBBERY 8/20/2005, 100 blk S.Glebe Road, On August 20 at about 2133 hours, 2 male victims were approached by 4 unknown males. One of the unknown suspects asked for a dollar. As the victim gave the suspect a dollar, another suspect grabbed the rest of the money and then assaulted the victim. The suspects were described as B/M's ranging from 16-20 years of age.
ROBBERY 8/20/2005, 200 blk S. Glebe Road, On August 20, 2005 at about 2133 hours, a male victim placed an undisclosed amount of cash on the counter of the 7-11 Store. A male juvenile reached around the victim and took the cash. A struggle ensued before the police arrived. Petitions are pending for the suspect.

Suspect was described as an A/M thin build with black hair. 5'8 and about 27 YOA. LSW blue jeans, flip flops, white t-shirt and a white rope necklace.

ARMED ROBBERY 8/15/2005, 2800 BLK Jefferson Davis Hwy., At approximately 0350hrs, four people inside a hotel garage were approached by a man who threatened them with a handgun and demanded money. The victims handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a B/M, approx. 6'3", slim to medium build, wearing all black clothing and a black mask.

The suspects was only known as "David" 20 YOA, 5'6, 180 lbs, black hair and blk eyes, medium complexion. LSW black pants, and a brown shirt. The suspect left in a 2001 Ford Explorer, blue with VA registration JSZ7845.

When the passenger failed to pay the fare, the passenger sprayed the cab driver with pepper spray and fled. Suspect is described as W/M 5'8, 165 lbs, brown hair and light complexion. MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/12/2005, 800 BLK S. Greenbrier Street, On August 12th at about 1051 hours, a male victim was struck in the head and face with a stick. The victim received a laceration to his forehead and cuts on his head. Arrested was a Mr. Amado M. Rivera, 45 YOA, of Arlington, VA. Mr. Rivera was charged with Malicious Wounding and held without bond.

SEXUAL BATTERY 8/9/2005, 5200 blk N. 28th Street, On August 9 at about 2012 hours, a man was seen in a public pool touching his genitals. He then approached a six-year-old girl and touched her in an inappropriate way while still touching himself. The suspect was interviewed by Detectives of the Special Victim's Unit. The suspect was ID as Hamiyd Abdullah-Ali Alyetoro, B/M 33 YOA, Arlington, VA. Suspect was charged with aggravated sexual battery and held without bond.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 8/9/2005, 2200 blk Crystal Drive, On August 9, at about 0919 hours, a male entered the Jaleo Restaurant and began walking around. When confronted by employees, the suspect stated he was there to fill out an application. The suspect was told they were not accepting applications at that time. The suspect left the building with a wallet belonging to an employee. He was later found and arrested. Suspect was ID as Clyde C. Williams B/M 49 YOA with no fix address. Williams was charged with burglary.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY 8/9/2005, 800 blk S. Walter Reed Drive, On August 9 at approximately 0810 hours, a female, wearing Muslim head cover, was approached by 3 males in a pick up truck. The males made insulting religious and racial remarks towards her. One male exited the pick up and placed his hands on the victim in an effort to keep her from walking away. The suspects were all described as W/M's. The pick up is described as light green, shiny with silver trim and large tires.
PEEPING TOM 8/9/2005, 1200 BLK N.Meade Street, On August 8 at approximately 2338 hours, an unknown male was observed by a citizen looking into an apartment window. The citizen notified the occupants and they went outside to confront the suspect, but he was gone. The suspect was described as a W/H/M about 23 YOA 5'4, black hair, light complexion, LSW a dark baseball cap, jeans and dark shirt.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 8/7/2005, 800 BLK S. Greenbrier Street, Between 1500 hours on August 6 and 1200 hours on August 7, a female victim stated that her apartment was broken into. Items found to be missing included an electronic device, bed sheets, a phone silver ware and towels.
BURGLARY 8/7/2005, 1400 BLK S. Queen Street, On August 7 at about 1339 hours, four juveniles were arrested after they broke into the Boston-Hoffman Educational Center. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/7/2005, 4600 BLK Four Mile Run Drive, On August 7 at about 2205 hours, a male victim sustained a severe cut on the back of his head, mostly likely caused by blunt trauma. He also had a small cut above his left eye. The victim was intoxicated and not able to provide many details as to what took place. As for suspect description, the victim mentioned someone by the name of "the crazy uncle" who is between 40-45 YOA.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/7/2005, 3400 BLK S. 25th Street, On August 7th at about 0827 hours, 2 acquaintances got into an argument. One of the males believed the other was about to assault him so he grabbed a knife. A male victim got stabbed in the arm. Both parties gave different accounts as to what actually occurred.
PEEPING TOM 8/5/2005, 4300 BLK N. 4th Street, On August 5 at about 0227 hours, a male was seen looking into a window and masturbating. The subject was located and arrested. Suspect was ID as Carlos Callejas 26 YOA of Arlington, VA. A warrant for pepping tom was obtained and held on $2500 bond.
ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING 8/4/2005, 300 BLK N. Park Drive, On August 4 at about 1638 hours, an adult male and 3 juvenile got into an argument. One of the juveniles shot a pellet gun at the victim. The victim was not injured. All three juveniles were identified.

ROBBERY 8/2/2005, 100 blk N. Glebe Rd., On August 2, 2005 at about 0144 hours, a lone male victim was walking when he was approached by a brown minivan. Two subjects got out and the victim ran. The subjects chased the victim. Fearing he could not out run them, the victim gave one of his back packs to the subjects. The subjects than ran back to the mini van. The back pack contained an undisclosed amount of cash and miscellaneous clothing items. Both subjects were described as B/M's short hair, clean shaven. Both were wearing black clothing.
ROBBERY BY FORCE 8/1/2005, 400 blk N. Thomas Street, On August 1, 2005 at approximately 2058 hours, a female victim was selling phone cards on the corner of N. 4th Street and N. Thomas Street when 2 unknown subjects approached her. They pushed her to the ground and robbed her of an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. The suspects were described as B/M's. NFI.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/31/2005, 2100 BLK S. Oakland Street, On 7/31/05 at approximately 0450 hours, a male was found inside the residence. The female victim felt someone touching her leg. The victim also noticed that the suspect had attempted to take her TV. The suspect is the same suspect in case # 050731021. Suspect was ID as Jerry E. Denny, B/M 26 YOA of, Oxon Hill, MD. In this case the suspect was charged with burglary with intent to rape, and grand larceny. Held without bond.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/31/2005, 2000 BLK S. Oakland Street, On 7/31/05 at about 0315 hours and male suspect entered the residence by way of a back window. The suspect called the homeowner on her cell phone. The homeowner was away on vacation and did not give anyone permission to be in the house. The suspect was located and arrested. It was also learned later that the same suspect had broken into another residence (050731022). The suspect was ID as Jerry E. Denny. B/M 26 YOA, of Oxon Hill, MD. He was charged with burglary and held without bond.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/31/2005, 800 BLK N. Abingdon Street, On 07/31/05 at approximately 0210 hours, the female victim and a male shared a cab ride to the Ballston area. The male offered to pay the cab fare for both. As the female walked home, the male followed her. After several request not to be followed, the female made it to her residence, where the male forced his way in. The suspect was located and charged with burglary and assault and battery. He was held on $2500 bond. The suspect was ID as Khalid Elhafian 29 YOA of 313 N. George Mason Drive.
PEEPING TOM 7/30/2005, 1500 BLK N. 12TH Street, On 7/30/05 at approximately 0227 hours, a lone female noticed an unknown male looking into her living room window. Subject is described as an H/M, young looking with medium build. LSW a white t-shirt, and pants with some type of orange design.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 7/30/2005, 1600 BLK S. Walter Reed Drive, On 7/30/05 at about 2052 hours, several males got into an argument, which lead to a physical confrontation. A male suspect retrieved a machete from a near by car and struck the victim in the arm and back. The suspect was ID as Juan Carlos Bermudez, 25 YOA resides of Springfield, VA. He was charged with malicious wounding and held without bond.

The victim also noted that she saw a second male waiting in the area. The subjects were described as B/M's . One subject was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.
Residential Burglary 7/27/2005, 2900 BLK N. Key Blvd., Between the hours of 2230 on July 26 and 1247 hours on July 27, an unknown subject(s) broke into the victim's back door by breaking a glass pane. Nothing was reported taken.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY/SEXUAL ASSAULT 7/27/2005, 1400 blk S. 28th St., At approximately 2330hrs, two women inside a residence heard a knock on the door. They refused to open the door because they did not recognize the man knocking. A short time later, the man broke through a window and forced the victims into a bedroom at knifepoint. The man fondled both victims and unsuccessfully attempted to remove the clothing from one victim. When a security guard knocked on the door, the man fled the apartment through a bathroom window. The suspect is described as a W/M, Hispanic, 20-25yo, approx. 5'6", 165lbs, dark complexion, wearing a dark blue t-shirt, dark jeans, sneakers and a black t-shirt over his face.

The attacked was provoked by words being said that offended the suspect. The suspect was ID as Rene C. Gutierrez, 29 YOA of 6924 Jefferson Ave, Falls Church, VA. Gutierrez was charged with 2 counts of malicious wounding and held without bond.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/24/2005, 3600 BLK S. 9th Street, Between 7/22/05 at 1530 hours and 7/24/05 at 1341 hours, the residence was burglarized. Entry into the house was gained by breaking the basement window. The prior tenants, who were evicted in June, are suspects in this case. No other items reported stolen.
CARJACKING 7/22/2005, 4700 blk N. Lee Hwy., At approximately 2308hrs on 07/26/05, a man who had just parked his car behind a restaurant was approached by an unknown male who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his car keys. The victim complied, and the suspect drove away. A lookout was provided to surrounding jurisdictions, and the car was located in D.C. Carl Rice, 40, of Washington, D.C. was taken into custody by MPDC. A warrant charging Rice with carjacking was obtained in Arlington.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/22/2005, 1500 BLK S. Columbus Street, On July 22, 2005 between the hours of 0730 and 1610, the residence was burglarized. The homeowner came home and noticed items out of place. He also noticed the window in his wife's room open. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken as well as jewelry.

Suspects were described both as B/M's 6'0 , one wearing a white t-shirt and the other a dark t-shirt.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/19/2005, 1400 BLK S. 28th Street, Between 0620 and 1610 hours on July 19th, an unknown subject(s) entered the apartment and stole a laptop computer along with an XBOX video computer. No signs of forced entry found.
ROBBERY 7/19/2005, 700 BLK S. Arlington Mill Road, On July 19, 2005 at approximately 1520 hours, a male victim was walking along the bike trial when he was robbed by two males. One of the suspects had a knife. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Suspect #1 was described as an H/M in his 30's, 5'7, thin build, LSW blue pants and a black t-shirt. Suspect # 2 was described as an H/M in his 30's, 5'7 thin build, LSW a black and white hat, black jeans and black shirt.
ROBBERY 7/19/2005, 3200 BLK S. Fern Street, On July 19, 2005 at about 2155 hours, two females were getting into their car, when an unknown male forced his way into the car and robbed them of their purses. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect was described as a B/M 35 YOA, 6'0, thin face short hair, unkept beard, last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/19/2005, 6800 BLK N. Washington Blvd., On July 19, 2005 between the hours of 0106 and 0113, an unknown subject kicked in the rear patio and basement door. The residents heard noises and hid in the bedroom closet. Once the subject realized someone was home, the subject fled the house. K-9 responded with negative results. Nothing reported taken.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 7/19/2005, 800 BLK N. Lincoln Street, On July 16, 2005 at about 2334 hours a male and female were sitting on a park bench when a female suspect came up behind them and struck the female in the head with a wine bottle. The victim was taken to Virginia Hospital Center. The suspect was located on a near by bench and arrested. She was charged with malicious wounding and held without bond. The suspect was identified as Lynn A. Baker, W/F 49 YOA with no fix address.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/18/2005, 3000 BLK S. Randolph Street, Between the hours of midnight and 0745 hours on July 18, 2005, an unknown subject entered the victim's apartment and took and undisclosed amount of cash.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/17/2005, 2800 BLK S. 16th Street, On July 17, 2005 between 1300 and 1741 hours, an unknown subject broke the glass panel to the rear door. The subject rummaged through the residence. Reported stolen was an undisclosed amount of cash, various bottles of liquor and a NEXTEL phone. The resident believes the suspect may be a nephew.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 7/17/2005, 1200 BLK S. Eads Street, On July 17, 2005 at approximately 0640 hours a female victim reported that she was hit in the head with a wine bottle by another female whom somehow made it inside her apartment. Once officers arrived, they found the suspect had climbed out of a window and was standing on the ledge. A negotiator was called in and was able to talk the suspect back into the apartment. The suspect was ID as Olga Abrashkina W/F 31 YOA of no fixed address. She was charged with burglary and malicious wounding and held on no bond.
ARMED ROBBERY 7/16/2005, 1900 BLK N. Fort Myer Drive, On July 16, 2005 at about 1333 hours, an unknown male concealed himself inside a ladies bathroom at a local hotel. The suspect then surprised and robbed 3 people at gunpoint. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a B/M 6'0 170-190 lbs, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
ARMED ROBBERY 7/16/2005, 1900 BLK S. Eads Street, On July 16, 2005 at approximately 0409 hours, after parking their car, a male and female were robbed at gunpoint by a male suspect. The suspect ordered the male victim to empty his pockets and asked where his car was. A second male suspect appeared and took part in the robbery. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim's car. Suspect # 1 was described as a B/M 25-30 YOA 6'0 170 lb, short dreadlocks wearing a white tank top. Suspect #2 is described as a B/M 25-30 YOA 6'0 200 lbs. last seen wearing a red/white/black striped shirt. He spoke with an unknown accent.
HOMICIDE 7/15/2005, 3600 BLK N. Vacation Lane, On July 15, 2005 at about 1352 hours, officers responded for an apparent homicide. A lone female victim was found to be deceased inside the residence. Taken into custody at the scene was a male identified as Matthew James Pahno 21 yoa of Arlington, VA. Mr. Pahno was charged with homicide.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 7/15/2005, 1700 blk N. Roosevelt Street, On July 14 sometime between 0100-0200hrs, two unknown men attacked a man walking on a bike trail. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as W/Ms, Hispanic, approx. 5'10", 180lbs. One had dark, shoulder-length hair.
PEEPING TOM 7/15/2005, 4100 blk N. 3rd Road, On July 14 at approximately 2215hrs, three men were observed by several witnesses looking into apartment windows. One suspect was arrested and charged with peeping: Jose Reyes-Ortez, 39yo, of Woodbridge, VA. He was held on $2500 bond.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 7/12/2005, 3000 Blk Rt. 66, On July 11th at 0400hrs, a man was shot in the leg while riding in a car on Rt. 66. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
BREAKING AND ENTERING 7/12/2005, 2700 Blk Taylor Street, Between the hours of 1400 on July 9th and 0630 on July 11th an unknown subject entered a warehouse and took a laptop from an office. There were no signs of forced entry.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/11/2005, 500 Blk S. 24th Street, Between the hours of 0001 and 0700 on July 9th, an unknown subject entered the victim's house and ate several items from the refrigerator. Subject gained entry by breaking a window in the basement. No subject was found but fingerprints are being processed from victim's house.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY 7/11/2005, 4200 Blk S. 28th Street, Between July 7th at 1800 and July 8th 0600, nn unknown subject entered the victim's office and took a Zenith TV/VHS Combo 13'', a Hewlett Packard Model HP5650 Printer, and a Latitude C840 Laptop. There is no sign of forced entry. No subject was found.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 7/5/2005, 4000 blk N. Fairfax Drive, Between July 1 at 1700 and July 3 at 1837 unknown subject(s) entered victim's office and took two Dell laptops. The subject apparently gained entry by kicking in the front door. No subject was found.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/5/2005, 1600 blk S. Joyce Street, On July 5 at approximately 0300 an unknown male was found standing in a woman's bedroom. When the victim woke up she screamed and the man fled into the hallway. Subject was not found.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 7/5/2005, 2200 blk N. Harrison Street, On July 2 at approximately 0447 residents returned home to find an unknown man under a bed. Nothing was reported missing other than medication that was found on the subject. There were no signs of forced entry. Kelly Kitchens, 28yo, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with burglary. He was held on a $7500 bond.
