RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 12/31/2003, 3100 block N. Inglewood St. Sometime between 12:00pm on 11/25/03 and 12:00pm on 12/23/03, an unknown subject(s) entered the residence and stole jewelry.
SUSPICIOUS DEATH, 12/31/2003, 4500 block S. 31st St. On 12/31/03 at 9:29pm, an unconscious, male victim was found in the stairwell of an apartment complex. The victim, Juan Carlos Reyes-Guzman, 31yo of Arlington, VA. later died of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 12/31/2003, 1700 block N. Edgewood St. On 12/31/03, at about 5:05pm, the victim, a 36yo female, was walking on N. Edgewood St when she was approached from behind by an unknown male subject. The subject knocked the victim to the ground and fled with her purse. The subject is described as a black male, 18-20yo, 511, wearing dark clothing and a dark jacket with a hood. He drove away in a light colored vehicle with Maryland tags. The suspect was later identified as James Ricardo Savoy, of Upper Marlboro, MD, and arrested.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 12/30/2003, 2000 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., On 12/30/03 at about 8:00pm, an unknown male subject kicked in the door to an office and fled when he saw an employee inside. The subject is described as a black male with a beard, 30-40yo, 620, wearing a gray sweatshirt.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 12/29/2003, 300 block N. George Mason Dr., On 12/29/03 between 6:15pm and 6:30pm, the victim, a 20yo male, was walking home when he was approached by 6 unknown male subjects. One subject hit him over the head with an unknown object and the other 5 subjects began to hit and kick him as he fell to the ground. All of the subjects were described as Hispanic males, ages 25-29, wearing black pants and white shirts.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 12/29/2003, 200 block N. Columbus St., On 12/29/03, between midnight and 2:55am, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole an undisclosed amount of money, tools, a mountain bike and other miscellaneous items.
ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING 12/28/2003, 2000 block S. Nelson St., On 12/28/03 at about 7:45pm, the victims, a 37yo male and 32yo male, were standing on their front porch when an unknown male subject began to approach them from the street. The subject raised his hand in a gesture to suggest he was holding a handgun, causing the victims to run. Both victims heard about 3-4 shots fired. The subject fled the scene on foot. The subject is described as a 6'0 male, wearing a camouflage ski mask and a green army coat.

ARMED ROBBERY 12/27/2003, 1200 block S. Courthouse Rd., On 12/27/03 at about 5:00pm, two unknown male subjects robbed the establishment and a 36yo male victim at gunpoint. Subject #1 is described as a dark-skinned black male, 21-22yo, 6'4/180, wearing a medium length dark jacket, blue or black pants, and a black and red ball cap. Subject #2 is described as a dark-skinned black male, 5'10/250, 21-22yo, wearing a black "NY" stocking cap and a medium length black jacket.
ARMED ROBBERY 12/27/2003, 900 block S. Army Navy Dr., On 12/27/03 at about 9:00pm, the victim, a 15yo male, was walking through a parking lot when he was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his money. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot. The subject is described as a dark-skinned black male, 6'2, wearing a dark winter coat and a dark ski cap.
ARMED ROBBERY AND SEXUAL ASSAULT 12/27/2003, 5900 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 12/27/03 at about 7:15am, the victim, a 67yo female, was sitting at a bus stop when an unknown male subject approached her. The subject produced a knife and demanded her money. When she handed over her money the subject then sexually assaulted her. The subject is described as a thin, tall, dark-skinned black male, about 20-30yo, bald, with a mustache, wearing a black stocking hat, white shirt, black pants and white sneakers.
BURGLARY 12/26/2003, 1000 block N. Fillmore St., Between 3:30pm on 12/26/03 and 6:30am, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and stole power tools.
ROBBERY 12/26/2003, 1600 block S. Eads St., On 12/26/03 at about 7:58pm, the victim, a 24yo male, was walking home when he was approached by two unknown male subjects. The subjects demanded the victim's money, he complied and they fled on foot. Both subjects were described as black males, 5'11/175, wearing black knit caps, dark winter jackets and dark slacks.
GRAND LARCENY 12/23/2003, 900 block S. Buchanan St., On 12/23/03 at 10:40pm, a subject broke into at least 8 vehicles in the area. Responding officers arrested a male subject who had stolen items in his possession. The arrested subject was identified as Gustavo Bonilla Canas, Hispanic male, age 20, of Arlington, VA.
BURGLARY 12/23/2003, 900 block N. Stuart St., Between 4:00pm on 12/19/03 and 12:59pm on 12/23/03 an unknown subject(s) broke into an office and stole a collector's item.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 12/21/2003, 300 block N. Glebe Rd., On 12/21/03 between 8:45pm and 8:53pm, the victim, a 40yo male, was riding his bicycle in the area when a subject known to him confronted him and told the victim to give him his bike. The victim refused and then was assaulted by the subject. The subject then fled on foot. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, possibly named David, 55, shaved head and brown eyes, wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY 12/20/2003, 1100 block S. Oakcrest Rd., On 12/20/03 between 1:30am and 4:01am, an unknown subject(s) vandalized 16 vehicles in the area by breaking one window on each vehicle with an unknown object. No items were reported stolen and the investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 12/20/2003, 3100 block S. Glebe Rd., On 12/20/03 at 11:56pm, the victim, a 37yo male, was walking along the bike path when three unknown male subjects walked up to him and began to fight him. All subjects fled on foot. The subjects are described as three black males dressed in hooded jackets.
ROBBERY 12/19/2003, 100 block S. Glebe Rd., On 12/19/03 at 2:30pm, the victim, a 13yo female, was approached by a subject known to her, threatened her with a knife and stole her cell phone. The subject, a 13yo male juvenile from Arlington, was arrested by a responding officer.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY 12/19/2003, 2400 block S. Army Navy Dr., On 12/19/03 at 11:13pm, two unknown subjects were seen breaking the windows on two vehicles in the area. No items were reported stolen.

Carlin Springs Rd., On 12/18/03 at 4:30pm, the victims, a 16yo female and a 17yo female, were approached by an unknown male subject while he was fondling himself in his vehicle. The subject is described as a Middle Eastern male, mid 20s, dark skin, short mustache, thin build, wearing a red and blue flannel shirt and dark blue jeans. The subjects vehicle is described as a royal blue Mazda.
PEEPING TOM 12/18/2003, 4000 block N. 11th St., On 12/18/03 at 8:22pm, the victim, a 40yo male, was inside his residence when he saw an unknown male subject looking into his window. When the subject was discovered, he fled on foot. The subject is described as an unknown race male, wearing a dark knit skullcap and a dark Ύ length leather coat.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 12/17/2003, 1600 block S. Eads St., On 12/17/03 between 8:15am and 2:45pm, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into an apartment and stole a bicycle, DVDs and electronic equipment.
FATALITY ACCIDENT, 12/14/2003 Arlington Boulevard and Carlin Springs Rd., On 12/14/03 at 10:10pm, a vehicle traveling on Arlington Boulevard lost control on a patch of ice, crossed into oncoming traffic and was hit by another vehicle. One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Other occupants of the vehicles were transported to area hospitals. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 12/13/2003, 900 blk S. Frederick St., On 12/13/03 between 0:50am and 0:59am, the victim, a 16yo female, was in her home when an unknown subject gained entry to her apartment through an unsecured window. The subject fled when the victim confronted him. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 56/185, with short black hair, wearing a navy blue and tan jacket, dark pants, dark work boots and a red bandanna.
ROBBERY 12/11/2003, 800 block N. Danville St., On 12/11/03 at about 10:48am, the victim, a 67yo female, was walking home when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown subject. The subject took one of her shopping bags, removed her wallet from inside and fled on foot. The subject is described as an unknown race male, 6slim, wearing a black ski mask, light gray and white hooded sweatshirt, black or dark shoes and dark, possibly blue pants.
ATTEMPT ROBBERY 12/10/2003, 2300 block S. Eads St., On 12/10/03 at about 3:49am, the victim, a 43 year old male, was walking home when he was jumped from behind by an unknown black male who demanded his wallet and jewelry. The victim fought off the subject causing him to flee on foot. The subject is described as a black male, 40yo, clean shaven, with bleached blonde short hair, 60/185, wearing a blue baseball hat, blue jean jacket and blue jeans

BURGLARY 12/9/2003, 4300 block N. Lee Highway, On 12/9/03 between 8:40am and 7:30pm, an unknown subject(s) gained entry to the victims residence and stole checks and an undisclosed amount of money.
ROBBERY 12/7/2003, 600 block S. Carlin Springs Rd., On 12/7/03 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, the victim, an 84 year old female, was sitting in her home when an unknown subject opened the unlocked door. The subject bound the victim? arms and legs together and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white female, about 30yo, 560, and gray hair, wearing black pants and a black jacket.
ROBBERY 12/7/2003, 2500 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 12/07/03 at 4:58am, the victim, a 39yo male, was walking home on Wilson Blvd. when he was struck over the head by an unknown object causing him to drop his backpack. The victim then observed four male subjects flee with his property. The subjects are described as follows: #1 a black male, age 20-30, 5wearing a red and gray jacket with 1 red and gray glove and a second glove of unknown colored glove; #2 a Hispanic male, about 20-30yo, wearing Khaki cargo pants an unknown colored jacket and a brown scarf, #3 and #4 were described as Hispanic males.
ASSAULT BY MOB 12/7/2003, 4700 block N. 20th St., On 12/7/03 at approximately 2:31pm, two victims, a 22yo male and a 19yo male, were sitting in a vehicle with two other friends when they were approached by about seven unknown male subjects. The subjects opened the back doors of the vehicle and began striking both victims. The subjects are described as Hispanic males about 20yo, all were wearing dark clothing. At least two subjects had a ponytail and one had a nose ring. The investigation is ongoing.
ARMED ROBBERY 12/6/2003, 3300 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 12/6/03 at 2:25am, an unknown subject approached the front desk clerk with a gun and robbed the establishment of an undisclosed amount of money. The subject is described as a white female, 535, about 25yo, wearing a black waist length jacket and black pants.
ASSAULT BY MOB 12/6/2003, 100 block S. Old Glebe Rd., On 12/6/03 at 9:57pm, the three victims, a 37yo female, a 15yo male and a 12yo male were assaulted by a group of juveniles after a school function. Four juveniles have petitions for arrest pending: three of the four black male juveniles are from Arlington and the fourth is from Woodbridge, VA.
BURGLARY 12/6/2003, 3500 block N. 13th St., On 12/6/03 between 2:30pm and 8:00pm, an unknown subject entered the residence. It is unknown what was taken as of this report.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 12/5/2003, 2700 block N. 11th St. On 12/5/03 at about 9:43pm, the two victims, a 33yo male and a 29yo female, were walking on N 11th Street when an unknown vehicle stopped next to them. The passenger in the vehicle pointed a long gun at them and demanded their wallet and purse. The victims fled away from the vehicle without turning over their property. The suspect is described as a white female, mid to late 30?, with either dark hair or wearing a dark hat. She was wearing large glasses. The vehicle was described as a 1980? model, possibly Japanese vehicle, box-style with 4 doors, dark in color with had a loud muffler.
ARMED ROBBERY (CARJACKING) 12/5/2003, 2400 block S. Eads St., On 12/5/03 at about 9:30pm, the victim a 27yo male, was entering his vehicle when he was approached by two subjects, one with a handgun. He was told to hand over his keys and leave all of his belongings behind. The victim complied and the two subjects fled in the victim? vehicle in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 550, wearing a dark blue or black jacket with a hood and a baseball cap with a dark lid. Subject #2 is described as a black male, 600, wearing a dark jacket, a red and white bandana, and a baseball cap with a dark lid. The victim? vehicle is an Volkswagen GTI, 2 doors, gold in color with VA tagYGA2932.

ARMED ROBBERY 12/4/2003, 2500 block N. 20th Rd., On 12/04/03 at about 0:15am, the victim, a 37 year old male, was in his residence when a subject known to him knocked on his door and was permitted to enter. The subject then produced a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the subject fled the area in an unknown vehicle. The subject is described as a black male, 670, about 37 years of age. The investigation is ongoing.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 12/4/2003, 900 block S. Clark St., On 12/04/03 at approximately 2:11am, the victim, a 24 year old female, was leaving an establishment in Washington, DC when an unknown subject offered her a ride into Virginia. When they arrived, he pulled her out of the vehicle, robbed her at knifepoint of money and jewelry and then proceeded to sexually assault her. The investigation is ongoing. The subject is described as a clean-shaven, dark-skinned black male, medium build, about 25-30 years old, wearing a dark wool cap, a dark down jacket and blue jeans. He was wearing a diamond earring in his right ear. The suspect vehicle was described as a silvery-blue, 4door sedan with a white license plate.

Columbia Pike, On 12/3/03 between 9:45am and 10:15am, the victim, a 45 year old female, was leaving a local business when she was approached by an unknown male subject who produced a handgun, ordered her into her vehicle and made her drive him into Washington, DC. Prior to leaving her vehicle, he took her money and jewelry. The subject is described as a black male, about 30-40yo, 5medium build, wearing a black fleece jacket and a black knit cap.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 12/3/2003, 1600 block N. Pierce St., On 12/03/03 between 5:20pm and 9:00pm, an unknown subject(s) entered the residence and stole a laptop computer and jewelry.
ARMED ROBBERY, 12/3/2003, 1100 block N. Fillmore St., On 12/03/03 at 10:09pm, the victim, a 24 year old female, was walking on the east side of N. Fillmore St when a vehicle stopped next to her. The suspect produced a shotgun and demanded her purse. The victim complied without incident. The suspect is described as an Asian female, 25-35yo, dark rimmed glasses, 53, medium build. The vehicle was described as a late model, 4door, possibly maroon car with a loud engine.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 12/2/2003, 2700 blk N. Jefferson St., On 12/2/03 between 9:30am and 9:45am, an unknown subject entered the residence while the resident was at home. After a brief confrontation the subject fled on foot. The subject is described as a black male, 18-19yo, 5thin, wearing blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Columbia Pike., On 12/02/03 at about 11:00pm, the victim, a 35 year old male, was walking home through a parking lot when he was approached by three unknown male subjects who began assaulting him. The victim was knocked to the ground and one of the subjects removed his wallet from his back pocket. The subjects are described as #1 Hispanic male, 25-30yo, 5 wearing a black jacket and blue jeans; #2 Hispanic male, 25-30yo, 5 mustache, wearing black jeans and a white pullover; #3 Hispanic male, 25-30yo, 5 mustache, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING 12/2/2003, 5000 blk N. Lee Hwy., On 12/2/03 between 10:40pm and 10:47pm, a plain-clothes police officer in the area observed several Hispanic males and several black males in the parking lot of a local establishment exchange words. The officer then heard gunfire and observed several subjects fleeing the scene. One victim, a 21-year-old male, sustained a superficial wound to his chest. The investigation is ongoing.

COMMERICAL BURGLARY 11/28/2003, 1600 blk N. Kent St., Between 4:30pm on 11/26/03 and 6:00am on 11/28/03, an unknown subject(s) entered the business and stole two laptop computers.
ROBBERY 11/28/2003, 4200 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 11/28/03 at 8:45pm, an unknown male subject grabbed a diamond ring from the store clerks hand and fled. The subject is described as a black male, 56/140, wearing a gray jacket and a brown hat.
ROBBERY 11/28/2003, 800 blk N Quincy St., On 11/28/03 at 2:05pm, the victim, a 53 year old female, was walking along N. Quincy St. when a male subject walked up to her and grabbed her purse from her shoulder. Citizens in the area caught the subject and held him until responding officers were able to take him into custody. The arrested subject was identified as Diran Ronnie Jalkian, white male, 29 years old, of S. Dickerson St. in Arlington.
ROBBERY 11/27/2003, 1800 block N. Moore St., On 11/27/03 at 7:20pm, the victim, a 49-year-old female was robbed of a disposable camera by her ex-boyfriend. The investigation is ongoing.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY 11/27/2003, 1400 block S. Eads St., On 11/27/03 at 00:20am, an unknown subject(s) smashed out the door to the business and stole a cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money.

ARMED ROBBERY 11/26/2003, 3000 block S. Hill St., On 11/26/03 at 2:51pm, the victim, a 35 year old male, was driving his taxi cab when he was robbed at knife point by an unknown male customer. The subject is described as a dark-complected black male, 58, wearing a white jacket.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 11/24/2003, 700 block N. Monroe St., Sometime between 9:00pm on 11/24/03 and 7:30am on 11/28/03, an unknown subject forced entry into the residence. A leather jacket, electronic equipment and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen.
FATAL CAR ACCIDENT 11/24/2003, 2600 block Arlington Blvd., On 11/24/03 at about 3:00am, a fatal car accident occurred in the 2600 block of Arlington Blvd. Three vehicles were involved. A Gaithersburg man, 29-year-old Anh Q. Nguyen, was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other adult male victims were transported to local hospitals. The investigation is continuing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 11/23/2003, 3900 block N 36th St., On 11/23/03 between 10:15am and 1:15pm, an unknown subject(s) forced entry to the residence and stole some jewelry.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY 11/23/2003, 1600 block N George Mason Dr., On 11/23/03 at 11:43am, the victim, a 61 year old male, discovered an unknown subject rummaging through his office desk. The subject was detained but fled prior to police arrival. He is described as a black male, about 25 years old, 5170, wearing a baggy, light gray sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and a bushy haircut.

Frederick St., On 11/23/03 at 2:00am, the victims, a 62 year old male and a 26 year old male, were walking home when they were approached by three unknown male subjects who began to assault them. Their wallets were stolen. The subjects are described as three Hispanic males; all about 20-25 years old, wearing black shirts and blue jeans. One of the subjects was described as short and fat with long black hair.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 11/22/2003, 1100 block N. Stuart St., On 11/22/03 at about 8:15pm, the unlocked front door to the residence was opened and then quickly closed by an unknown subject(s). When the residents responded to the front of the house they discovered a purse and its contents were missing from the front hallway.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY 11/21/2003, 1700 block N. Glebe Rd., Between 3:00pm on 11/21/03 and 6:00am on 11/24/03, an unknown subject(s) broke into the building and stole several construction tools.
INDECENT EXPOSURE 11/20/2003, 3700 block S. Columbia Pike, On 11/20/03 between 4:20pm and 4:30pm, the victim, a 28 year old female, was out for a walk when she was approached by an unknown male subject who exposed his genitalia to her. The subject is described as a black male, 20-22 years old, 540, wearing a black ski jacket, black pants and dark shoes.

Lee Hwy., On 11/20/03 between 8:25pm and 8:57pm, the victim, a 19 year old male, was walking along the sidewalk when he was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject hid what appeared to be a gun under his shirt and demanded the victim give him his boots. The victim fled the area without incident and called police. The subject is described as a black male, early 20?, 680, wearing a black headband and a bROBBERY, 800 block S. Frederick St. On 11/23/03 at 2:00am, the victims, a 62 year old male and a 26 year old male, were walking home when they were approached by three unknown male subjects who began to assault them. Their wallets were stolen. The subjects are described as three Hispanic males; all about 20-25 years old, wearing black shirts and blue jeans. One of the subjects was described as short and fat with long black hair.

SEXUAL ASSAULT, 11/16/2003, 2400 block N. Wilson Blvd., On 11/16/03, between the hours of 2:30am and 6:30am, the victim, a 34 year old female, was attacked and sexually assaulted at her workplace by a known male subject. Eventually, the victim was able to flee the scene and flag down a passing police officer. Responding officers arrested Alexander Martinez, 30yo, of the 3100 block S. Fox St. in Arlington.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 11/16/2003, 4500 block Arlington Blvd., Between 11:45pm on 11/16/03 and 12:05am on 11/17/03, the victim, a 24 year old male, was walking inside a local establishment when two unknown subjects punched him and attempted to steal his watch. After a brief struggle, the two subjects fled on foot. Subject #1 is described as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, 61/170, wearing a long-sleeved, button down, cream colored shirt and blue jeans. The second subject was described as a Hispanic male, 20-25years old, 59/160, with a full beard, wearing a dark suit without a tie.

Four Mile Run Dr., On 11/15/03 at 10:45pm, the victim, a 40 year old male, was standing outside of his residence when an unknown male subject approached him and tried to rob him at gunpoint. The victim fought off the subject and he fled on foot. The subject is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 60/170, wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black knit cap.
CARJACKING/TRESPASSING, 11/15/2003, 1200 block S. Joyce St., On 11/15/03 at 1:57am, the victim, a 27-year-old male, reported that his delivery truck was stolen at gunpoint by an unknown subject. Minutes later, the vehicle was reported as having driven onto the Henderson Hall facility without stopping at the military checkpoint. Responding officers surrounded the vehicle and attempted to communicate with the driver. After several hours, a Military Police Emergency Response Unit took the driver into custody. The driver, Muriel Dawson, black female, 42 years old was handed over to the Arlington County Police where she was charged with Carjacking. No weapon was found on the suspect or in the truck. The investigation is ongoing.

Pershing Dr., On 10/23/03 at 2157hrs an unknown male subject walked into the establishment, displayed a knife, pushed a clerk and removed cash from the cash register. The subject is described as a black male, about 30-35 years of age, 61/185, wearing a black coat and a black hooded sweatshirt.
ROBBERY BY FORCE 10/22/2003, 1200 block N. Nash St., On 10/22/03 at approximately 6:49 p.m., the victim, a 54-year-old female, noticed two men watching her as she walked to her car near the intersection of N. 12th St. and N. Nash Street. As the victim approached her car, one of the men ran toward her and grabbed her purse. As the man pulled on the purse, he knocked the victim to the ground. Both men then fled the scene heading north on N. Nash St. The victim flagged down a passing police officer and reported the crime. Plain clothes and patrol officers in the area arrested two subjects in the area for all four robberies after a short foot pursuit. Arrested subject #1 was identified as a black male juvenile, age 17, from Oxon Hill, MD. Arrested subject #2 was identified as Marcus Brown Johnson, Jr, black male, age 18, of SE Washington, DC.
ARMED ROBBERY 10/22/2003, 1500 block N. Quinn St., On 10/22/03 at approximately 6:40 p.m., the victim, a 51-year-old male, was entering a building in the 1500 block of N. 12th St. when two men came up behind him. One man told the victim not to look at him while the other man pointed a handgun at the victim. The men went through the victim's pockets and took his wallet, keys, cell phone and cash. The men then fled the scene heading east on N. 12th St. The victim entered the building and called police.
ARMED ROBBERY 10/22/2003, 1400 block N. Quinn St., On 10/22/03 at approximately 6:20 p.m., two men approached the victim, a 49-year-old man, in the 1400 block of N. Quinn Street. One of the men asked the victim for the time. As the victim looked at his watch, one of the men put a handgun to the victim's neck, demanded money and threatened to kill him if he didn't comply. The men took the victim's wallet, keys and cash and left the scene walking south on N. Quinn Street. The victim went to a nearby residence and called police.

As an officer approached the male subject, he threatened to kill the officer and then he hit him. A fight ensued and the officer was able to take the subject into custody. ASSAULT AND BATTERY 10/17/2003, 4600 block Interstate 66, On 10/17/03 at about 2345hrs the 38 year old male victim was driving along Rt. I66 when he was involved in a ?oad ragecident with a yellow Volvo with Maryland Tags. As both vehicles exited the highway and were stopped at the off ramp to Glebe Road, two subjects exited the Volvo and approached the victim driver. The suspect driver struck the victim driver in the head with a beer bottle and then fled the scene. Both subjects are described as Hispanic males, about 20 years old. The suspect driver was described as 5 wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a denim jacket. The investigation is ongoing.

Ottawa St., On 10/09/03 at 1700hrs, a subject unknown to the witness was observed jumping over the backyard fence and trying to open various doors at the residence. The subject was detained by responding officers who after further investigation arrested the subject for unlawful entry. The subject arrested was identified as James Branch, black male, 54 years old, with no fixed address.

EXPOSURE 10/8/2003, 2400 block N. Underwood St., On 10/08/03 at 1725hrs a subject exposed himself to several juvenile females in the area. Responding officers stopped a subject in the area matching the description provided by a witness. Arrested for indecent exposure was Fernando Vaca, Hispanic male, 48/110lbs, unknown address.
EXPOSURE 10/8/2003, 1000 block N. Quincy St., On 10/07/03 at 1730hrs an anonymous victim reported a male subject was inside the establishment masturbating. The subject is described as a black male, about 20 years old, 60, and slender build. He had closely cropped hair, a full days facial growth and he was wearing a gray and black shirt and shorts.
BURGLARY 10/8/2003, 5200 block S. 8th St., Sometime between 0800hrs and 1215hrs on 10/08/03, an unknown subject(s) entered the residence and stole electronic equipment.
BURGLARY 10/8/2003, 1200 block S. Courthouse Rd., Between 0900hrs on 10/07/03 and 0900hrs on 10/08/03, an unknown subject(s) broke into the residence and audiovisual equipment was taken.
ROBBERY 10/8/2003, 5500 block S. Columbia Pike, On 10/08/03 at 0642hrs, the victim, a 47 year old female, was walking to her car when she was approached by two unknown subjects who snatched her purse from off of her shoulder and fled. A responding officer stopped two subjects in the area matching the description provided by the victim. The victim positively identified both subjects. Arrested was subject #1, Isaac Mosley, black male, 21 years old of Woodbridge, VA. Arrested subject #2 is a Hispanic male juvenile also of Woodbridge, VA.
ARMED ROBBERY 10/7/2003, 4100 block N. 4th St., On 10/07/03 at about 1415hrs, the victim, a 30-year-old male was approached from behind while entering his apartment by a subject with a knife. A total of three subjects forced him into his apartment. The then tied him up and stole various items from the residence to include money, jewelry, and electronic equipment. The subjects fled in a 2 door purple vehicle, possibly a Toyota with a small spoiler on the trunk bearing unknown Virginia tags. Subject #1 is described as a Hispanic male, 25-35 years old, 5150-160, wearing a red turtleneck sweater and blue jeans. Subject #2 is a Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, 590-200, wearing a black sweater and black jeans. Subject #3 is a Hispanic female, 15-25 years old, 535, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY 10/7/2003, 1200 block S. Cleveland St., On 10/07//03 at 1423hrs, the 30 year old male victim was struck by a subject not known to him while he was sitting in his backyard. The subject is described as a white male, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
BURGLARY 10/7/2003, 2600 block S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., Sometime between 1700hrs on 10/6/03 and 0700hrs on 10/7/03 an unknown subject(s) broke into the business and stole a laptop computer.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY 10/7/2003, 4200 Block N. Fairfax Dr., On 10/7/03 at 0043hrs, the victim, a 36 year old male, was punched in the face several times by a subject unknown to him while he was walking along the sidewalk. The subject is described as a black male, about 35 years old, 5180, wearing a baseball cap, a red sweatshirt, jeans and sunglasses. Minor injuries were sustained.
ATTEMPT BURGLARY 10/6/2003, 300 block N. Kensington St., On 10/06/03 at 1400hrs, the victim, a 39 year old female, was inside her home when she observed two unknown subjects attempt to pry open the sliding glass doors to her home. When confronted, the subjects fled in a gray 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo, VA/ ADB9712, which was later determined to be stolen. The subjects are described as one white male and one black male, unknown ages, both 180lbs, wearing dark jackets and dark pants.
ARMED ROBBERY 10/5/2003, 4300 block N. Carlin Springs Rd., On 10/05/03 at about 0624hrs, the 26 year old male victim was exiting his vehicle in a parking lot when an unknown subject approached him, produced a handgun and demanded his money. The subject fled on foot. The subject is described as a medium to dark skinned black male, 25-30 years old, 5o 5 150-170lbs, with a thin mustache. He was wearing a black or dark brown, hooded sweatshirt or jacket, and black pants.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY 10/5/2003, 1200 block S. Cleveland St., On 10/05/03 at 1213hrs, the 30 year old male victim was approached by an unknown subject who made threats about the victim? former employer and then struck him once with a wooden paddle. The victim sustained minor injuries. The subject is described as a white male, in his 30?, with short brown hair worn in a crew cut, brown eyes, clean shaven, wearing dark jeans and a dark blue, long-sleeved shirt. The subject fled on foot.
BURGLARY 10/5/2003, 1700 block S. 13th St., Between 1530hrs on 09/23/03 and 1535hrs on 10/05/03, an unknown subject(s) gained entry to the residence and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
SEXUAL ASSAULT 10/5/2003, 4900 block I66 Bike Path, On 10/05/03 at 1616hrs, the victim, a 28-year-old female, was walking along the bike path when an unknown subject riding a bicycle touched her buttocks with his hand. The subject is described as a black male, in his early 20s, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, white T-shirt and dark colored pants. His bicycle was silver in color.
ROBBERY 10/4/2003, 3800 block Columbia Pike, On 10/03/03 at 2345hrs, the victim, a 30 year old male, was walking near his apartment when two unknown subjects approached him, threatened him with a knife and took his wallet from him. The two subjects are described as Hispanic males, the first wearing all dark clothing, the second was with a goatee, wearing a black knit cap and dark clothing.
BURGLARY 10/3/2003, 1500 block S. Columbia Pike, On 10/03/03 at 0300hrs, the business was broken into and several vehicle inspection stickers were stolen.
ARMED ROBBERY 10/3/2003, 1300 block S. Army Navy Dr., On 10/03/03 at 2102hrs, an unknown subject entered the business, walked behind the cash register counter, produced a handgun and demanded money from the owner. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The subject is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, 5 heavy build, medium complexion, last seen wearing dark pants, a thigh length black jacket, and a black skull cap. The subject had no facial hair but he was wearing round wire-framed glasses.
BURGLARY 10/3/2003, 400 block N. Oxford St., Between 1015hrs and 1339hrs on 10/3/03, the residence was broken into by an unknown subject(s). A television, DVD player and computer system were stolen.
ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING 10/3/2003, 2600 block S. Columbia Pike, The victim, an off-duty police officer, approached a subject who was soliciting in the area. The subject produced a box-cutter and began swinging at the victim. The victim phoned police who arrested the subject a short time later after he was positively identified. The arrested subject is Chavis, Timothy, black male, of Arlington.
BURGLARY 10/1/2003, 3800 block S. Four Mile Run Dr., Between 1900hrs on 09/30/03 and 0545hrs on 10/01/03, an unknown suspect(s) broke out the front window to a business. Nothing appears to be stolen at this time.
Skeletal Discovery 10/1/2003, 100 block N. Chain Bridge Rd., On 09/30/03 at 1500hrs, construction workers discovered human remains. The medical examiner was notified and excavation of the bones was conducted. The investigation is ongoing however, preliminary reports suggest an absence of foul play but rather, this may be a historical discovery.
