BURGLARY, 2/2/2010, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 11 am on January 30, and 11 am on February 1, an unknown subject broke into an office and stole a laptop computer. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 2/2/2010, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 6 pm on January 30, and 11:30 am on January 31, an unknown subject broke into a store at a mall and stole various items. There are no known suspects

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 2/2/2010, 1700 block of N. Glebe Road. On February 1 at 2:45 am, a man assaulted another man inside his residence. Jeffrey Gillis, 49, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 2/2/2010, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. On January 31 at 2 am, a group of unknown Hispanic males assaulted several people inside a resultant. The suspects were in their 20s.

ROBBERY, 2/2/2010, 900 block of N. Pollard Street. On January 31 at 10 pm, a woman was walking and talking on her cell phone when an unknown man forcibly removed her purse from her shoulder. The suspect was an African American male in his 20s, 5'7" and 160 lbs. He was wearing all black clothing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/29/2010, 1400 and 1600 blocks of S. 28th Street. Between 6 pm on January 26, and 9 am on January 27, an unknown subject broke into at least four cars on the same street and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 1/29/2010, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 6 pm on January 27, and 8:30 am on January 28, an unknown subject broke into a church. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 1/29/2010, 2200 block of Clarendon Boulevard. Between On January 27 between 8 am and 7 pm, an unknown subject broke into an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

EXPOSURE, 1/29/2010, 6800 block of N. Fairfax Drive. On January 27 at 8 pm, an unknown man exposed himself to a woman walking on a bike trail. The suspect was a white male, 5?8? with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black neck warmer pulled up over the lower half of his face, grey sweatpants and white sneakers.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE-ARREST, 1/29/2010, I-395 South at Washington Boulevard. On January 27 at 8:40 pm, police stopped a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Tyrone Curtis, 21, of Washington D.C., was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and No Operator?s License. He was held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/26/2010, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. Between 8 pm on January 23, and 5 am on January 25, an unknown subject broke into at least two cars and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1/26/2010, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 6 pm on January 22, and 6 am on January 25, an unknown subject stole laptop computers from an office. There are no known suspects.

DISCHARGE A FIREARM IN A DWELLING-ARREST, 1/26/2010, 5700 block of N. 6th Street. On January 24 at 12:30 am, an intoxicated man fired several shots inside a residence. No one was injured. Bradley Martelo, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Discharge of a Firearm in a Dwelling. He was held without bond.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 1/25/2010, 2200 block of S. 27th Street. Between 7 pm on January 22, and 1 pm on January 23, an unknown subject vandalized at least eleven cars by "keying" them. There are no known suspects.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, 1/25/2010, 3000 block of Wilson Boulevard. On January 24 at 10:20 pm, two groups of unknown subject fought in front of a restaurant. One subject was pushed into a glass window and broke it. All suspects fled before police arrived.

BURGLARY, 1/25/2010, 2200 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On January 22 between 9 am and 5:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

EXPOSURE, 1/25/2010, 1700 block of Roosevelt Street. On January 24 at 2 pm, a woman was jogging on a bike trail when she saw an unknown man exposing himself. His face was covered by a black ski mask. The suspect fled the area on a bicycle.

LATE ROBBERY, 1/25/2010, 1800 block of N. Moore Street. On January 21 at 5 am, a man was walking when two unknown men brandished a knife and stole his cell phone and wallet. The victim reported the incident a day later. The suspects were both white Hispanic males in their 20s. One subject was wearing jean and a blue jacket and had short hair. The other suspect was wearing all black clothing and had long hair and a mustache.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 1/25/2010, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On January 23 at 7 pm, two groups of teenage males got into a physical fight in a mall food court. One subject was stabbed superficially. Three juveniles were detained and taken to detention. Rodney Torry, 18, of Greenbelt, MD, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 1/25/2010, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. On January 22 at 11 pm, two men argued and one stabbed the other superficially in the stomach. Charles Davis, 49, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 1/25/2010, 2500 block of Columbia Pike. On January 22 at 1:45 am, two men argued. One hit the other with a glass, cutting the victim's face. The suspect was apprehended. Donald Bryant, 27, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/21/2010, 1700 block of N. George Mason Drive. On January 20 between 7 pm and 8 pm, an unknown subject broke into several cars in the same block, stealing various items. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/21/2010, 200 block of S. Carlin Springs Road. On January 20 between 8 pm and 9 pm, an unknown person broke into at least two vehicles and stole several items. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY, 1/21/2010, 2000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On January 20 at 8 pm, a building custodian was robbed of money and keys by an unknown man who implied a weapon. The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a black mask.

ASSAULT BY MOB-ARREST, 1/20/2010, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On January 16 at 7 pm, three juvenile females assaulted a woman in the food court at a mall. The suspects were detained and charges are pending.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/19/2010, 5900 block of S. 5th Road. On January 15 between 6 pm and 7:40 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least four vehicles in the same area. Various items were stolen. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 1/19/2010, 3800 block of N. Military Road. Between 9 pm on January 15, and 7 am on January 16, an unknown subject entered an unlocked house and stole a purse. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 1/19/2010, 800 block of S. Harrison Street. Between 7 am on January 12, and 1:30 pm on January 15, an unknown subject broke into a residence and stole money. There are no known suspects.

EXPOSURE, 1/19/2010, 400 block of S. Columbus Street. On January 15 at 1 pm, police received a phone call stating that an unknown male was exposing himself on W&OD Trail. Neither the victim nor suspect were located.

EXPOSURE, 1/19/2010, 1700 block of N. Roosevelt Street. On January 15 at 6:30 pm, a woman was jogging when she saw a man exposing himself near a basketball court. The suspect was a white male wearing a shirt and nothing else.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 1/19/2010, 100 block of S. Hayes Street. On January 16 at 3 pm, an unknown person threw a glass bottle from an upper balcony down onto the food court. It hit a woman and injured her. There is no suspect description.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 1/19/2010, 100 block of N. Glebe Road. On January 16 at 1 am, a woman reported that a cab driver assaulted her when she requested a different destination. The cab driver was a man in his mid-30?s, 6?, 180 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. The cab was white with black lettering.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 1/19/2010, 3000 block of Columbia Pike. On January 14 at 3:30 pm, an unknown man assaulted a cab driver over a road rage incident. The suspect was an African American male in his 30?s, 5?10? with a large build. He was wearing a brown t-shirt and drove a newer model white SUV.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 1/19/2010, 1700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On January 16 at 10 pm, a man assaulted another man and a security guard in a hotel lobby. Vernon Walling, 35, of New York, NY, was charged with two counts of Assault and Battery, Larceny from a Person and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 1/15/2010, 1800-1900 blocks of N. Cameron, Culpeper, and Dinwiddie Streets. On January 13 between 1 am and 6:45 am, an unknown subject cut the tires on at least 22 vehicles in the same neighborhood. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/15/2010, 4400 block of Henderson Road. On January 14 between 7 pm and 9 pm, an unknown subject broke into three vehicles. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/15/2010, 1000 block of N. Barton Street. Between 9:30 pm on January 12, and 8:30 am on January 13, an unknown subject broke into at least two cars in the same area and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1/15/2010, 2300 block of Crystal Drive. Between 2 pm on January 9, and 11 am on January 11, an unknown subject entered a construction site and stole copper wiring. There is no suspect description.

EXPOSURE, 1/15/2010, 1900 block of N. Sycamore Street. On January 14 at 8 pm, a woman jogging saw a man standing near the woods exposing himself. The suspect was a white male wearing dark blue hooded sweatshirt, dark knit hat, and carried a flashlight.

EXPOSURE, 1/15/2010, 1000 block of N. Kennebec Street. On January 13 at noon, a county employee reported that a woman witnessed an unknown man exposing himself on the bike trail. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask over his face. Police could not locate the victim for more details.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 1/15/2010, 1000 block of S. Columbus Street On January 14 at 7:40 am, a woman was walking when an unknown man approached her from behind. He grabbed her buttocks before running away. The suspect was a white Hispanic male in his 20?s, 5?1? with a stocky build. He was wearing black pants, a blue jacket, a red shirt, a black knit hat, black and white sneakers and was clean-shaven.

ABDUCTION-ARREST, 1/15/2010, 4000 block of Columbia Pike. On January 11 at 10 pm, a man kept his mother?s boyfriend from leaving an apartment by threatening him with a knife. Police located the suspect. Robert Tuck, 36, of Arlington, was charged with Abduction. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 1/12/2010, 1700 block of S. Hayes Street. On January 11 between 6:30 am and 3:30 pm, an unknown subject attempted to break into a fire station by prying an outside door. There are no known suspects.

EXPOSURE, 1/12/2010, 5700 block of Fairfax Drive. On January 11 at 5:15 pm, a woman was jogging on the bike trail when she saw an unknown man exposing himself beside the trail. The suspect had a light complexion and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

ROBBERY, 1/12/2010, 2300 block of S. Eads Street. On January 12 at 3 am, two unknown men robbed a taxi driver of money and belongings while displaying a long gun. The suspects ran from the area. Both suspects were African American teenagers wearing dark clothing.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 1/11/2010, 2900 block of S. Quincy Street. On January 8 at 5:30 pm, an intoxicated man refused to exit a Metro bus. When arrested, he attempted to kick out a window in a police cruiser, and assaulted an officer. Taylor Odemns, 57, of no fixed address, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement, Destruction of Property and Drunk in Public. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT BY MOB, 1/11/2010, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On January 10 at 4 pm, a group of unknown male teenagers assaulted a man. When a witness attempted to assist, the witness was assaulted as well. The suspects were all African American teenage males.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 1/8/2010, 1600 block of N. 21st Street. On January 6 between 8 am and 11 pm, an unknown subject attempted to gain access to an apartment by breaking a window. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 1/8/2010, 600 block of S. Carlin Springs Road. On January 5 between 2 pm and 2:30 pm, an unknown subject broke into an apartment. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/5/2010, 4700-4900 blocks of N. Chesterfield Road. On January 4 between 7:30 pm and 9 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least three vehicles in the same neighborhood and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1/5/2010, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. Between 8 am on December 30, and 5 pm on December 31, an unknown subject broke into a business and stole laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 1/5/2010, 4200 block of N. 4th Street. On January 4 at noon, four men ran out on a taxicab fare. When the taxi driver attempted to stop them, one suspect assaulted the driver. The suspect is an African American teenager wearing jeans and a black jacket.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 1/4/2010, 2500 block of N. 24th Street. Between 11 pm on December 30, and 10 am on December 31, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles in the same area. There are no known suspects.

RESISTING ARREST-ARREST, 1/4/2010, 4300 block of N. Henderson Road. On January 2 at 3:20 pm, an intoxicated male resisted when approached by police. Brigadier Cordona-Perez, 23, of Arlington, was charged with Resisting Arrest and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

OBSTRUCTION-ARREST, 1/4/2010, 5100 block of S. 11th Street. On January 1 at 2:45 am, an intoxicated man became disorderly after leaving a house party. Brian Keyes Harris, Jr., 21, of Arlington, was charged with Obstruction of Justice and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 1/4/2010, 1400 block of N. Courthouse Road. On January 1 at 1:40 am, police were assisting a cab driver with a drunk passenger when the passenger assaulted an officer. Matthew Hodson, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement and Drunk in Public.

ROBBERY, 1/4/2010, 1100 block of S. Frederick Street. On December 31 at 1 am, an intoxicated man stated to police that four unknown subject had robbed him of his wallet. The suspects were all African American men.

HOMICIDE, 12/30/2009, 3200 block of N. 13th Street. On December 29 at 2:50 am, a deceased male was found in the street suffering from upper body trauma. The victim was identified at Carl Diener, 57, of Arlington. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 12/29/2009, 2000 block of Army Navy Drive. Between 1 pm on December 22, and noon on December 28, an unknown subject stole a TV from the model unit of an apartment building. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 12/29/2009, 2000 block of S. 26th Street. Between 8 pm on December 27, and 9:45 am on December 28, an unknown subject stole a TV from the model unit of an apartment building. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 12/29/2009, 1700 block of N. Adams Street. Between 9:30 am on December 24, and 12:30 pm on December 27, an unknown person forcibly entered a residence and stole a check. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 12/29/2009, 4900 block of Columbia Pike. Between 8 am on December 22, and 7 am on December 24, an unknown subject broke into a building under construction and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT-ARREST, 12/29/2009, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On December 28 at 2 am, a man became disorderly with officers while they were investigating a domestic disturbance. Darron Palmer, 25, of Dumfries, was charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/29/2009, 500 block of S. 23rd Street. On December 28 at 1:45 am, several unknown men assaulted a couple during a verbal disagreement. The suspects are both African American men in their mid-twenties. One suspect was wearing an orange shirt, a dark jacket, a brown and gold baseball hat, and had dreadlocks. The second suspect also had dreadlocks and was wearing dark clothing.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/29/2009, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. On December 25 at 2 am, a man was struck with a bottle during a disagreement outside a bar. The suspect is an African American male, 25 years old, 5'8" and 130 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and jeans.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 12/29/2009, 2100 block of N. 15th Street. On December 24 at 9 pm, an intoxicated subject assaulted an officer. Lamont Moore, 38, of Washington D.C., was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement and Drunk in Public. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 12/29/2009, 2900 block of Columbia Pike. On December 28 at 1 pm, two unknown men entered a business. One suspect implied a weapon and stole cell phones from a display while the other suspect acted as a lookout. Both suspects were African American men in their 20s wearing dark clothing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/24/2009, 4300 block of Fairfax Drive. Between 4 pm on December 18, and 3 pm on December 20, an unknown subject broke into an office suite and stole laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/22/2009, 5800 block of N. 16th Street. Between 6:45 pm on December 18, and 6 am on December 21, an unknown subject broke into a construction site and stole cooper items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 12/22/2009, 900 block of S. Buchanan Street. Between 11 pm on December 19, and 4 am on December 20, an unknown subject stole a computer from an apartment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 12/22/2009, 2100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On December 19 between 3 am and 11 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole electronics. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 12/22/2009, 900 block of N. Pollard Street. On December 18 at midnight, a woman awoke to see a man stealing jewelry from an adjacent bedroom. The man walked out of the apartment when confronted. The suspect was an African American male in his 40s, 5'8" and 200 lbs. He was wearing dark blue clothing and carrying a backpack.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/22/2009, 2000 block of Columbia Pike. On December 15 at 5 pm, an unknown teenage male approached a teenage female, attempting to talk to her. When she rebuffed him and attempted to call her mother on her cell phone, he threw the cell phone on the ground. He also grabbed the girl by her arm. She got the attention of a passerby, and then fled the area. The victim has the seen the suspect at her bus stop before. The suspect is an African American teenage male with a dark complexion and approximately 5'8". He was wearing jeans, a white jacket, a red shirt, a silver cross and chain, and a black baseball hat with the initials "NY" on the front.

BURGLARY, 12/16/2009, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. On December 15 between midnight and 8 am, an unknown subject broke into a house and stole several items. There is no suspect description.

ABDUCTION-ARREST, 12/16/2009, 1300 block of N. Stafford Street. On December 14 at 4:30 pm, a man approached a teenage girl at a high school track. He grabbed her and kissed her on the forehead before other students confronted him. Tereso Bonilla, 44, of Arlington, was charged with Abduction, Assault and Battery, and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 12/16/2009, 1300 block of S. Scott Street. On December 14 at 6 pm, a woman was walking and talking on a cell phone when an unknown subject grabbed the purse off her arm. The suspect was an African American male teenager, 5'8" with a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with white stripes.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/14/2009, 4500 block of Lee Highway. On December 14 at 2 am, a man was assaulted by two men known to him. They also vandalized his vehicle.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 12/14/2009, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. On December 14 at 1 am, a police officer stopped a fight between two men. One subject assaulted the officer. Jacobo Martinez-Alvarado, 22, of no fixed, was charged with Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 12/14/2009, 1300 block of S. Joyce Street. On December 12 at 10:30 pm, a woman hit another woman over the head with a glass. Shan Shan Chen, 34, of Chantilly, was charged with Malicious Wounding. She was held on a $5,000 bond.

ROBBERY, 12/14/2009, 1800 block of N. Bryan Street. On December 11 at 11 pm, a man was walking while talking on his cell phone. An unknown male approached him displaying a handgun, and demanded his phone and wallet. The suspect then fled. The suspect is an African American male in his 30s, 5' and 150 lbs. He had a goatee and was wearing a black knit cap.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 12/14/2009, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On December 12 at 11 pm, a group of four men assaulted a victim, and stole his cell phone. On December 14 at 1 am, the victim saw one of the suspects and notified police. Juan Carlos Contreras, 22, of no fixed, was charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 12/11/2009, 900 block of N. Randolph Street. On December 10 between 4 am and 12:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment at sole several items. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 12/10/2009, 4000 to 4500 blocks of Four Mile Run Drive. Between 11 pm on December 8, and 7 am on December 9, an unknown subject broke into at least 11 vehicles with in a five block area. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/10/2009, 4500 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 9 pm on December 8 and 8 am on December 9, an unknown subject broke into a business and stole chemicals. There is no suspect description.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 12/10/2009, 2100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On December 9 at 11 am, a woman assaulted two employees at an office and then threatened others with a baseball bat. Urula Evouri-Otha, 30, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and Disorderly Conduct. She was held on a $3,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 12/10/2009, 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On December 9 at 4:40 pm, and officer witnessed a woman assault another female. Linda Gordon, 46, of no fixed, was charged with Assault and Battery. She was released on her own recognizance.

ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/9/2009, 3600 block of Columbia Pike. On December 7 at noon, a man entered an office an attempted to break into a file cabinet. The suspect is an African American man in his late 20s wearing a black knit cap, grey North Face jacket and jeans.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 12/8/2009, 4600 block of N. 24th Street. Between 10 pm on December 4, and 5 am on December 5, an unknown subject broke several windows of at least two vehicles in the same block. There are no known suspects.

ROBBERY, 12/7/2009, 800 block of S. Frederick Street. On December 6 at 2 am, a man was walking inside his apartment building when an unknown man stole a chain off his neck. The suspect was an African American male in his late 20s wearing a brown jacket and a black knit cap.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 12/7/2009, 5100 block of Columbia Pike. On December 6 at 1:40 am police responded to an apartment building for a victim of an assault. The victim was found unconscious and suffered from a head wound. It may have resulted from an argument/fight about a loud noise violation. The victim was transported to the hospital. There is no definitive suspect description.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 12/7/2009, 4500 block of S. 31st Street. On December 6 at 4:15 am, a man assaulted his cousin with a glass bottle. Santos Bonilla Cruz, 31, of Oxon Hill, MD, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 12/4/2009, 1800 block of S. 9th Street. On December 3 between 6:30 pm and 10 pm, an unknown subject broke into a residence and stole electronics. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/4/2009, 900 block of S. Wakefield Street. Between 3 pm on December 2, and 6 am on December 3, an unknown subject stole copper fittings from a construction site. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY, 12/4/2009, 3600 block of Columbia Pike. On December 2 at an unknown time in the evening, a group of five unknown men assaulted an intoxicated man and stole his wallet. The suspects were African American men in their late teens.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY-ARREST, 12/2/2009, I-395 South at Glebe Road. On December 1 at 8 am, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with stolen license plates. James Matthew Washington, 42, of Washington D.C., was charged with Receiving Stolen property. He was held on a $1,500 bond.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 12/1/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On November 30 at 11:45 am, a teenager asked to see a ring at a jewelry store. A second subject grabbed the ring from the hand of the clerk, and fled the store. The first subject was caught and detained.

GRAND LARCENY-ARREST, 12/1/2009, 2700 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On November 30 at three juveniles stole laptops and phones from a business. Two of the suspects were later apprehended at different locations and were detained. Charges are pending.

BURGLARY, 11/30/2009, 100 block of N. Cleveland Street. Between 4:30 pm on November 27, and 8:30 pm on November 28, an unknown subject broke into a house and stole several items. There is no suspect description.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 11/30/2009, 1200 block of N. Hudson Street. On November 29 at 1:45 am, police approached a man for urinating in public. He became combative and additional people with the suspect then confronted police. Dias Belguinha, 28, of Herndon, was charged with Resisting Arrest, Drunk in Public, and Urinating in Public. He was held on a $2,000 bond. Michael Belguinha, 19, of Herndon, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, Drunk in Public, and Destruction of Property. He was held on a $5,000 bond. Sonia Costa, 29, Oak Hill, of was charged with Drunk in Public. She was held until sober.

ROBBERY, 11/30/2009, 4200 block of N. 4th Street. On November 28 at 1:45 am, a group of unknown teenagers assaulted a man. They also stole his cell phone. The suspects were all African American males wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 11/30/2009, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On November 27 at 1 am, a subject approached another male and asked him for some money. When the victim pulled out his wallet, the suspect grabbed it and fled. Police located the suspect. Edward Bernard parker, 40, of Arlington, was charged with robbery. He was held without bond.

The suspect took the victim's cell phone a brandished a knife. The suspect was a white Hispanic male in his late 20s, 5'5" and 140 lbs wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY, 11/27/2009, 800 block of N. Frederick Street. On November 27 at 8 pm, a man approached a woman walking away from her car and demanded her purse. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled with her wallet. The suspect was an African American male, 5'10" with an average build. He was wearing dark pants and a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.

ROBBERY, 11/27/2009, 2500 block of S. Shirlington Road. On November 27 at 2:30 am, an unknown man confronted two women near their vehicle. He climbed in an open car, but one victim pulled him out of the car. The suspect stole a purse while in the car, and then fled. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 40s, 5'9" with an average build. He was wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap, and was missing a front tooth.

CARJACKING, 11/27/2009, 1200 block of N. Highland Street. On November 26 at 11:45 pm, a woman was exiting her car when an unknown man threatened her with a handgun. He demanded her purse, then commanded her to put the vehicle key into the ignition. The suspect then drove off in the stolen vehicle. The suspect was an African American male in his 40s, 5'10" with an average build. He was wearing dark clothing and a dark knit cap.

On November 19 at 7:45 pm, while police investigated a larceny from a vehicle two men were seen breaking into another vehicle at a nearby parking lot. Both subjects were apprehended by police. Marcelo Contreras, 28, of Hyattsville, MD, and Carlos Rivera, 18, of Capital Heights, MD, were charged with Larceny from Auto, Attempted Larceny from Auto, Destruction of Property, and Possession of False ID. Rivera was also charged with Possession of Burglarious Tools. They were both held without bond.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 11/19/2009, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. On November 17 at 3:30 am, a man entered a business and stole items from an office. The suspect is a white male, 5'11" and 160 lbs. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket and dark grey pants.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 11/19/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On November 18 at 9:15 pm, an unknown man reached over and grabbed jewelry from behind the counter at a jewelry store. An employee physically prevented the theft and the suspect fled. The suspect was an African American male in his early 30s, 5'9", with short buzzed hair and a wide nose. He was wearing a red fleece zip up jacket, dark blue jeans, and a navy blue hat.

ROBBERY, 11/19/2009, 1600 block of S. Joyce Street. On November 18 at 9:30 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown man exited a vehicle nearby. He displayed a handgun and calmly demanded her purse. The suspect then left the scene in a dark colored mid-size sedan. The suspect was an African American male in his 20s, 5'9" and 170 lbs with a short haircut. He was wearing a blue Northface jacket and jeans.

ROBBERY, 11/19/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On November 18 at 2:30 pm, a man took a diamond bracelet from the hand of an employee and fled a jewelry store. The suspect was an African American male in his early 40s, 6' with a thin build. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, black and white shoes, and a black knit cap.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 11/19/2009, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On November 18 at 8 pm, a man was talking on his cell phone when a juvenile walked by and stole it from his hand. The victim contacted Metro Transit Police within the mall and the suspect was apprehended. A 17-year-old male was taken to juvenile detention and charges are pending.

ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT, 11/18/2009, 4400 block of N. 4th Street. On November 17 at 6:30 pm, a woman walked into the laundry room of an apartment complex. An unknown suspect approached her and asked for sexual favors. When the woman turned to leave, he held her wrist. The victim fled the room and called police. The suspect was a white Hispanic male, around 30 years old, 5'7" and 170 lbs. He was wearing a black windbreaker jacket, khaki pants, and a hat.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO, POSSESSION, ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 11/18/2009, 300 block of N. Kensington Street. On November 16 at 7:45 pm police responded for a suspicious person. The suspect was found in a stolen vehicle. The suspect was under the influence of narcotics and unclothed. He assaulted officers at the scene before being arrested. Duy Nguyen, 32, was charged with Grand Larceny of an Automobile, Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Driving While Revoked, Indecent Exposure, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement. The victim pulled back and ran. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his late 30s, 5' with a stocky build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and an unknown type of hat.

ATTEMPTED CARJACKING, 11/12/2009, 2400 block of S. Glebe Road. On November 11 at 9 am a suspect confronted a man inside his car and attempted to obtain the vehicle keys. The victim was assaulted and the suspect fled in his own car. Warrants for Attempted Carjacking have been issued for Stefen Farmer, 37, of Hyattsville, MD.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 11/10/2009, 1100 block of N. Stuart Street. On November 9 at 8:20 am a woman reported to police that she had been stabbed by a resident of the rooming house in which she resides. Warrants were issued for Michael Broadnax, 43, of Arlington.

ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 11/10/2009, 4900 block of Little Falls Road. On November 9 at 10:30 pm a man was running when three unknown men approached him. They demanded money and assaulted him. When the victim struggled he was stabbed. The victim received a non-life threatening injury. The three suspects left in an older model grey Pontiac or Oldsmobile. Two of the suspects were African American men in their early 20s wearing all black clothing. The third suspect was a white male in his early 20s wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

LARCENY FROM AUTO/TRESPASSING, 11/9/2009, 5900 block of N. 16th Street. On November 6 at 10 an unknown man trespassed at a pre-school, before entering a vehicle in the parking lot and stealing a wallet. The suspect is a white Hispanic male between 25 and 25 years of age, 5'10" to 6', 200 lbs. He was wearing all dark clothing and a black knit cap.

MALICIOUS FIRE ALARM ACTIVATION/ASSAULT-ARREST, 11/9/2009, 1700 block of S. George Mason Drive. On November 9 at midnight an intoxicated subject pulled the fire alarm at a hospital. When the suspect was detained by security, he assaulted a security guard. Josue Pineda, 20, of Alexandria, was charged with Malicious Fire Alarm Activation, Assault and Battery, and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $1,500 bond.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY-ARREST, 11/9/2009, I-395 at S. Glebe Road. On November 5 at 1 am police stopped a stolen vehicle. Stolen tags and a handgun were also recovered in the vehicle. Jose E. Guevarra-Gutierrez, 29, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 11/9/2009, 3300 block of Wilson Boulevard. On November 7 at 3:45 am, a man assaulted a woman he was with inside a car. There were several witnesses to the assault. Christopher Scott Patton, 26, of Springfield, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

ABDUCTION-ARREST, 11/9/2009, 200 block of S. 23rd Street. On November 6 at 5 pm, several people witnessed a man assault his female companion and prevent her from leaving the area. When one witness confronted the suspect, the witness was assaulted. Jeremy Ramone Warren, 22, of Washington D.C., was charged with Abduction, and two counts of Assault and Battery. Police located the suspect, and he was also wanted out of several jurisdictions for Failure to Appear in court. ABDUCTION-ARREST, 11/5/2009, 1200 block of S. Scott Street. On November 4 at 1:30 am a man assaulted his girlfriend. He also kept her from leaving the apartment and broke her cell phone so she could not call police. Norman Arguello, 28, of Washington D.C., was charged with Adduction, Assault and Battery, Destruction of Property, and Interfering with an Emergency Communications Call. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 11/4/2009, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On November 2 at 7 pm three unknown men assaulted and stabbed another male. The victim received superficial injuries. The three suspects were all white Hispanic males in their early 20s.

BURGLARY, 11/2/2009, 2000 block of S. Lincoln Street. On October 30 between 7:45 am and 7 pm, an unknown person broke into a residence and stole various items.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 11/2/2009, 1400 block of N. Rolfe Street. On October 31 at 10:45 pm a man was assaulted when he exited his vehicle by two men who had heckled him while he was parking. The suspects were both white men in Halloween costumes. One was in a black and white chicken costume, and the other was wearing a blond wig and a white dress.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 10/27/2009, 4300 block of N. Pershing Drive. On October 25 at 1:30 am a woman awoke to find an unknown male standing by her bed. When the victim yelled, the suspect fled. He was described as a white Hispanic male, 5’5” and 150 lbs. He was wearing dark clothing.

SEXUAL ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/27/2009, 1000 block of S. Jefferson Street. On October 24 at 6 am, w woman was walking when an unknown man grabbed her chest. The suspect was a man wearing a black motorcycle helmet, 5’6”, and 150 lbs. wearing dark clothing.

PEEPING TOM-ARREST, 10/27/2009, 200 block of N. Thomas Street. On October 26 at 2 am a man was found looking into an apartment. Lorenzo Morales Toj, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Peeping into an Occupied Dwelling and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

BANK ROBBERY, 10/27/2009, 1400 block of S. Fern Street. On October 26 at 11:30 am an unknown man entered a bank and displayed a note demanding money. He fled with cash. The suspect was an African American male, 35 to 40 years old, 6’4” and 230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black wool coat and jeans.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 10/23/2009, 5000 block of Wilson Boulevard. On October 23 at 1:40 am police responded to assist medics with an intoxicated subject. The man became disorderly and assaulted an officer. Jorge Trigueros, 28, of Arlington, was charged with Assault on Law Enforcement. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 10/23/2009, 1600 block of S. Eads Street. On October 23 at midnight an unknown man and woman approached a woman walking into her building. The man asked the victim where the metro was, and then attempted to grab her purse. When the victim struggled, she was assaulted. The man then fled with the purse. The first suspect was an African American male in his 20s, 5’7”, and wore a blue shirt. The second suspect was a white Hispanic female in her early 20s. She was wearing a dark colored jacket and had a lip piercing.

BURGLARY, 10/22/2009, 900 block of S. Buchanan Street. On October 21 between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm an unknown subject entered an apartment through a window and stole a GPS unit. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 10/22/2009, 200 block of N. Thomas Street. On October 21 between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm an unknown person entered and apartment and stole electronics. There is no suspect information.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/20/2009, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. On October 19 between 11:30 am and 1 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least three cars in a mall parking garage. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/20/2009, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On October 16 between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two cars in a mall parking garage. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 10/20/2009, 1400 block of S. Joyce Street. On October 18 between 1 pm an 5 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole cash. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 10/20/2009, 3600 block of S. 25th Street. Between 11:30 pm on October 14, and 3:30 pm on October 17, an unknown suspect entered a house and stole electronic items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 10/20/2009, 1800 block of Patrick Henry Drive. Between 8 am on October 9, and 6 pm on October 16, an unknown subject entered a house and stole jewelry. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 10/20/2009, 5900 block of N. 4th Street. Between 11:30 pm on October 15, and 6:30 am on October 16, an unknown subject forcibly entered a residence. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY/ATTEMPTED ROBBERY-ARREST, 10/20/2009, 2500 block of S. Eads Street. On October 18 at 1 pm a man robbed another man and fled. In addition to the first victim, a second man reported that a suspect (matching the same description) attempted to rob him around the same time period, but was unsuccessful. Shortly afterward, the suspect was located by police. Glenn Jackson, 44, of no fixed address, was charged with Robbery, Possession of Cocaine, and Fail to Identify to Law Enforcement. He was held without bond.

BANK ROBBERY, 10/20/2009, 3100 Clarendon Boulevard. On October 17 at 10 am an unknown man entered a bank and displayed a note demanding money. He fled with cash. The suspect was an African American male with a thin mustache, 35 to 40 years old, 6’4” and 230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black wool coat and jeans.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/16/2009, Unit block of N. Glebe Road. On October 15 between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two cars in the same block. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

EXPOSURE, 10/16/2009, 1300 block of N. Taylor Street. On October 13 at 6:30 pm a female high school student was walking home when an unknown man exposed himself to her. He made an inappropriate comment, and she called the police on her cell phone. The suspect fled. He is described as a Middle Eastern male, 5’7”, and 170 lbs. He appeared homeless and as wearing a blue or green windbreaker, a dirty green sweater and dark colored sweatpants.

BURGLARY, 10/15/2009, 400 block of S. Fenwick Street. Between 6:30 am on October 9, and 2 pm on October 13, an unknown subject broke into a residence and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/15/2009, 2100 block of N. Lynn Street. On October 13 at 5 pm two bicyclists collided in the street. One man assaulted the other and damaged the victim’s bicycle before leaving the area. The suspect was a white male in his late 30s, 6’2”, 215 lbs with short spiky light blond hair. He was wearing a black cut off shirt, black bike shorts and a silver helmet.

BURGLARY, 10/13/2009, 100 block of S. Garfield Street. On October 12 at 12:30 am, a couple awoke to find two unknown men inside their house. The suspects fled immediately. One suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt at the time of the break-in.

BURGLARY, 10/13/2009, 3500 block of S. 19th Street. Between 8 am on October 10, and 2:30 pm on October 11, an unknown subject broke into a house through a window and stole electronic items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 10/13/2009, 4300 block of N. Pershing Drive. On October 9 between 9 am and 5”30 pm, an unknown person entered a house and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 10/13/2009, 900 block of S. George Mason Drive. On October 9 between 1 am and 9 am, an unknown person entered a basement and stole various electronic items. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY, 10/13/2009, 4700 block of Columbia Pike. On October 8 at 3:30 pm a woman was waiting for the bus with her purse on the bench beside her. An unknown woman grabbed the victim’s purse, and the victim reached out as well, struggling with the suspect. During the struggle, the suspect assaulted the victim and fled with the purse. The suspect is described as an African American female, 5’8”, 180 lbs, wearing all black clothing.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 10/13/2009, 700 block of N. Abingdon Street. On October 11 at 3 pm a woman assaulted her husband, and then assaulted an officer after police arrived at their house. Leannah Harding, 49, of Arlington was charged with Assault on Law Enforcemcent and Domestic Assault and Battery. She was released on her own recognizance.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/ASSAULT BY MOB-ARREST, 10/13/2009, 3200 block of Columbia Pike. On October 11 at midnight, police responded to a report of a fight. Three suspects were located in the restaurant, and one was apprehended after a foot pursuit. Juan Villatoro Santos, 23, of Arlington, Martin Hernandez Alvarez, 22, of Arlington, and Wilfredo Giron, 33, of Arlington, were all charged with Assault by Mob and Drunk in Public. They were held on a $3,000 bond. Lazaro Ortega, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding, Assault by Mob and Drunk in Public. He was held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/7/2009, 1900 block of N. Ft. Myer Drive. Between 9 pm on October 5, and 7:30 am on October 6, an unknown suspect broke into at least four vehicles in a parking garage. GPS units were stolen. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 10/7/2009, 3500 block of S. 17th Street. On October 6 between 9 am and 4:45 pm, an unknown subject broke into a house through a sliding glass door, and stole electronic items. There are no known suspects.

POSSESSION OF HEROIN-ARREST, 10/6/2009, I-66 West at N. Sycamore Street. On October 3 at 2:45 pm police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was found in possession of narcotics and a concealed weapon. Doss Jackson, 58, of Front Royal, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Driving on a Revoked License. He was held without bond. Michael Valerio, 65, of Front Royal, was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

BURGLARY, 10/6/2009, 1700 block of S. Oakland Street. On October 5 around 2pm two unknown men broke into a residence. They stole several items. The suspects were both African American males in their 20’s. One suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, jean, a black jacket and a beige baseball cap. The second suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, black cargo pants and a black skull cap. The suspect left in a newer model Chrysler.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/5/2009, 2100 block of N. Edison Street. On October 4 between midnight and 2 am, an unknown subject broke into at least three vehicles in the game neighborhood. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect information.

BURGLARY, 10/5/2009, 1900 block of S. Pollard Street. On October 2 between 8 am and 5 pm, an unknown subject entered a house and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

ASSAULT-ARREST, 10/5/2009, 200 block of S. Courthouse Road. On October 3 at 1:30 pm a man assaulted a co-worker after a verbal argument. The suspect turned himself in to police. Brent Huffman, 32, of Gaithersburg, MD, was charged with Simply Assault. He was released on an unsecured bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 10/5/2009, 1100 block of S. Joyce Street. On October 2 at 12:30 pm a man assaulted an employee at a store. Police located the suspect. Yohannes Getahun, 43, of Alexandria, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 10/5/2009, 500 block of S. 15th Street. On October 2 at 10 pm a man assaulted his fiancé after a verbal argument. Rolando Caparas, 46, of Arlington, was charged with Domestic Assault and Battery. He was held on a $2,000 bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 10/5/2009, 800 block of S. Greenbriar Street. On October 3 at 3:30 am a woman hit her boyfriend in the face with a glass bottle. Ana Hernandez, 46, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding. She was held on a $2,500 bond.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 10/5/2009, 2400 block of S. Shirlington Road. On October 2 at 3 pm an unknown man approached another male and attempted to take his backpack. A struggle ensued and the suspect fled. The suspect was an African American male, 6’ with a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/2/2009, 2600-2800 blocks of S. Joyce Street. Between 7:30 pm on September 29 and 10:30 am on September 30, an unknown subject broke into at least four cars within the same general area. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description.

POSSESSION OF A FIREARM-ARREST, 10/2/2009, 5600 block of S. 5th Street. On September 30 at 7 pm police responded for a call about a suspicious man with a gun. A suspect was apprehended. Michael Terell Jackson, 29, of Woodbridge, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana. He was held without bond.
