Text Box: A landscaping walkthrough of the Glen will take place on Saturday, March 4, beginning at 8 am. Join us at the traffic circle on Stafford and 36th Street if you are interested in commenting on landscaping in the Glen. We lost quite a few plants in the fall due to drought. Most of our efforts will focus on replacement rather than enhancement this spring. If you have any questions, please call the Landscape line at (703) 820-9567.

Text Box: It may be the middle of winter, but it’s never too soon to start dreaming of tennis, basketball and the pool! This year, we’ve made some changes in the process for obtaining recreation passes (commonly referred to as “pool passes”). A group of dedicated Glen volunteers will produce and distribute the passes. This new process will save us approximately $3,000…and those cost savings over time may be even greater. We are experimenting with issuing permanent recreation passes to Co-owners. Renters will be issued a one-year pass. Passes will be laminated for durability and will be hole-punched so they may be attached to beach bags or put on a chain.
Starting this year, the application will be included in the March edition of Glen Echo, with a return date of May 5, so passes will be distributed before the pool opening date. Look for your application next month in the Glen Echo and get ready for summer fun!
