Text Box: B-BUILDING REDECORATION TASK GROUP
Text Box: Do you know what a “B-Building” is? It is one of our 23 multi-unit buildings that has both “Braddock” and “Barcroft” units. And they are due for redecoration in 2006, both new paint and new carpet. The Board established a task group to consult with B-unit Co-Owners and residents on what color of paint and what color and type of carpet they’d like to see in their common area hallways and stairs. Because such redecoration is done about every 10 years (the last time was 1995), it is important that durable paint and carpeting be used. This will be a very short-term task group, asked to complete its work in a few months, looking to a summer contract and installation. The Task Group will be led by Elizabeth Finos, who seeks a few more B-unit residents to assist her. Let her know of your interest in participating at 703-931-3761 or lfinos@yahoo.com

Text Box: .Do you want to say something to the Board? How about giving it a piece of your mind? Or offering the community a piece of your time? Do you have a great suggestion for improving the Glen? Come to the first half hour of each Board meeting, which will now be available for residents to speak on any Glen-related topic. A Co-Owner or resident may appear before the Board to offload your complaints or your good ideas. Each speaker will have five minutes to speak, so get your thoughts in order! February 7 is the first such opportunity, and we look forward to hearing your ideas. While not required, please let the President, Bob Patrician (703-379-4379 or bob.patrician@verizon.net) know ahead of time so that we may plan our schedule.
