Text Box: As highlighted in the last Glen Echo, there have been some changes in the recreation pass application, production and distribution process. This year, passes will be available to all co-owners and renters. Passes for co-owners will be laminated and will have no expiration date. Passes for renters will be issued only for the current year and must be re-applied for each year, with proof of current residency. Renters’ passes will be a different color for identification. The passes will all be hole-punched for ease of use.
Please complete the attached application and return by mail or drop off by May 5 to the subcommittee chair. Early bird drop-offs are appreciated. So drop them off anytime between now and May 5. (Turn to pages 3 and 4 of this issue of the Glen newsletter to find the application for this new recreation pass. Use page 3 if you are a co-owner and page 4 if you are a renter.)
Requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted but processing may take up to two weeks from the date of receipt. If there are any delinquent condo fee payments, passes will not be distributed until delinquent fees have been paid.
One of the changes made for this year stems from suggestions made by many people who said they didn’t need individual passes because they either went to the pool as a family or only one person was interested in either the pool or tennis. As a way to help us reduce costs and for ease of production, co-owners may now choose to receive one family pass or one pass for each person over the age of 12 residing in the unit. Renters will each receive an individual pass.
