Parade Participants Gather at the Fire House (Photo by Ron Patterson) North Fairlington Hosts July 4th Parade (Click Here for Photo Slideshow) Fairlington Villages hosted the fifth annual Independence Day Parade on Sunday, July 4, 2004. Lots of Fairlington residents braved threatening skies and then heavy rain to celebrate our Nation's Birthday. The parade began at 10:30 AM and proceeded along South Abingdon Street to the North Fairlington Community Center parking lot where refreshments were served.
