Photo from 2002 Parade North Fairlington Hosts July 4th Parade Fairlington Villages is hosting the sixth annual Independence Day Parade on Monday, July 4, 2005. All Fairlington residents are invited. The parade will begin at 9:45 AM and proceed along South Abingdon Street to the North Fairlington Community Center parking lot where refreshments will be served. Participants should assemble at the Fairlington Firehouse at 9:30 AM. Ribbons will be awarded for: the most patriotic outfits, and the most creatively decorated strollers, wagons, trikes, bikes, scooters, and pets.
