Welcome to the Fairlington Meadows Web Site

Fairlington Meadows consists of 22 acres with 57 residential buildings, a pool and kiddie pool, a basketball court, two tennis courts, and a playground.

Today, Fairlington's attractive garden setting and tree-lined streets create a quiet, tranquil atmosphere just minutes from downtown Washington. Although there is always some turnover among residents, the community is remarkably stable.

Neighborhood Alert Notice
The Board has been notified that in the early morning hours of March 21, an individual attempted to open both the driver's side and passenger-side doors of every vehicle in one of our courts. It is believed that he was successful in only one case; however, this information was garnered after-the-fact from a personal security camera, so he could have moved on to another location. Unfortunately, vehicle break-ins are becoming more of a problem in Fairlington in general, so don't leave valuables sitting in clear view, and remember to lock your doors at all times, even if you are going inside just briefly. If you notice anything suspicious, or should you become the victim of a crime, please call the police immediately. If not a "911 emergency," use the main number (703) 558-2222. This is the only way the police can keep track of such activity, and reporting it could possibly bring an added police presence to the neighborhood. .
Please also notify a member of the Board directly, so we can keep our residents informed, through postings such as this. Thank you.
