Fairlington Mews Board of Directors

Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, June 22, 2004

Gretchen Martin, acting president, called the meeting to order at 9:15 p.m. following the annual meeting of the Fairlington Mews Council of Co-Owners.

I. Quorum. A quorum was established.

Present: Gretchen Martin, acting president; Seth Low, treasurer; David Biette, secretary; Ben Marglin

Sherrille Opal, property manager, Legum & Norman

II. President’s Remarks

The board welcomed new member, Ben Marglin, who was elected at the Annual Meeting to complete the term of former member Rob Stewart.

III. Old Business

The board discussed several pressing matters relating to old business and passed several motions as follows:

The board unanimously approved a motion by David Biette, seconded by Seth Low, to continue with the sewer relining with a request that management hand deliver a notice to residents affected by the work fourteen days before work is to begin.

The board unanimously approved a motion by Seth Low, seconded by Gretchen Martin, to increase the amount of the painting contract if necessary to complete the current work following an inspection.

Management agreed to give notice to affected residents two weeks before work is to begin and again 72 hours before work starts.

The board unanimously approved a motion by David Biette, seconded by Seth Low, to repave the fire lane to the pool and the driveway in Court 10.

IV. Establishment of Next Meeting. The next meeting is the annual meeting of the Council of Co-Owners to be held on July 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairlington Community Center.

V. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
